They have an extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The location is also very good and quiet. I would certainly return. Very stylish and well decorated rooms. A big + is that it is also an charity / training centre.

Very comfy. Nice quiet setting. Big Robinsons store close by if you need it. They can arrange renting a motorbike. Young staff try very hard. Warm welcome.

TV not set up in room. Staff couldn't explain where to get the songthaew to visit the border (Songthaws leave from the junction of Chid-Lom and Buakhoon roads, cost 30B and take about 10 minutes plus waiting time. You are dropped off at the Friendship Bridge). More tables and chairs needed out the front in the social area. Told motorbike rental was 300B for a day but asked for 400B (I only paid 300B). I would stay again.

I was staying in one of the rooms on the second floor. I loved it. Minimal style, with polished concrete walls and floor. oak-colored wooden, and a touch of color from the blue, green, and yellow glass-paneled bathroom and balcony doors. The bed was so comfortable. Every morning, I'd make my morning coffee and this really sapcious balcony with a great, natural view over the resort.

i didn't have the breakfasts so I can't comment on that. But there was nothing I didn't like.

Breakfast is good with fewer options but overall is good. I like the place and it's quite good, with a great atmosphere. And the staff are good at service and lovely smile.

Overall is good but let me highlight some points. I didn't see a hairdryer in the room which is good to have item especially if I wash my hair during wintry weather.

Everything. Cleanliness, comfort, the picturesque decorations, the homely feeling, the simple breakfast, free hot water to drink available all day, great location, the surroundings with trees and plants and above all, it's managed by a group of young, energetic people.

Nothing. Would stay here again if I ever get the chance to visit again.

Fabulous accommodation. Friendly, helpful staff. Large rooms, pleasant outside garden area. Excellent value. Shane went that extra mile helping buy a bus ticket to Chiang Rai, and with motorcycle rental. 24 hour convenience supermarket very close. Tip if you pass the Lotus supermarket, and walk towards the traffic lights, turn left, there is a clutch of very good restaurants, one with music. Superb stay. Thank you.

Here there is a multi-lingual staff who is very attentive and knowledgeable, even though he is not a local, nor a Thai. Other staff were also with high service-mind. A receptionist was also the technician. He fixes things fast without the need to wait for the Maintenance people.

Parking spaces are very narrow.

Very nice and quiet location, very kind staff, rooms well-equipped and in individual style, good breakfast (incl. good choice and good coffee), nice garden, 24 h contact persons, meaningful "philosophy" to engage, parking space, will definitively come again!

Everything is fine.

Just a lovely Place, close to the Main street to be easily reachable by car, bike, bicycle etc. but still away from the noice and just a Little pradise. The rooms are very nicely designed and the staff is helpful, keeps it very tidy and friendly.

The Picture Book Guesthouse was a great find, tucked away from the main noise of the local street in a tranquil cul de sac. Relaxing landscaped garden to sit in, well appointed, simply decorated & furnished rooms . We chose a delicious breakfast of French toast, fruit & coffee. Staff helpful & polite. Excellent value for money.
