I want to say thank you to each and every employee of Oakwood Suites. Your kindness, respect, and genuine care for the guest shines through in every action you take. I am a transsexual woman and a medical tourist - I expect little from hotels, or people in general, and always try to prepare for the worst because of this. But the lovely people at Oakwood have treated me with nothing but kindest and made me feel special. From two gentlemen taking my luggage and wheeling me up to my room. To the wonderful ladies at the front desk who let me check in early after arriving from the hospital earlier than expected. From a lovely gentleman who offered to carry my Grab order up to my room because i may not have been to. And as i am staying at their hotel again as i type - i am sure more lovely experiences to come. As for the rooms - the standard deluxe room comes with two air conditioners, a wonderful refrigerator with a very cold freezer, a microwave and modern stove in the kitchen. The lounge area comes with a couch, cushions, table and Samsung smart tv. The bedroom had a very big and comfortable bed, light-up wardrobe with a Philips hair dryer, safe, and several electric outlets conveniently placed all around for your convenience. There is also a phone and a balcony. The higher up floors have the most beautiful views - and the ladv at reception even asked if i would like a high floor too. :) On top of all this the price to stay here is affordable and accessible to everyone - no Credit Card required only a security deposit of 1000 baht. And the Wifi is OMG !!!! The wifi is so fast, unlimited and accessible in the lobby as well. Make sure to ask them for the wifi password at reception. You get the five star hotel experience from the staff- a high end apartment experience from the room - and all at a price that much lesser establishments change the same for.

Occasionally one room might have an appliance that doesn't work as well as it would in all other rooms in the hotel. Given how many rooms there are - i think that's understandable.

Friendly, humble & polite staff with great service mind. And the location is super convenient, very very close to the subway purple line 👍🏻

The staff are so wonderful and hard working. Please be kind to them as they will be to you. The rooms are accommodating and come with all the essentials - including Samsung refrigerator, two air conditioners, hair dryer, microwave, smart tv, comfy and spacious bed, wardrobe and more. The living room has a very comfy couch with cushions that is ideal to relax on. The location is next to the purple train line directly outside of the nonthaburi station. The rooms and elevators are security pass card locked and there are on site security guards. The hotel is very clean with daily housekeeping. The top floors have beautiful views from the balcony and i would highly recommend a high floor. :) I was gifted this mug by the hotel staff - another small gesture of how lovely they all are. Thank you everyone at Oakwood Suites Tiwanon Bangkok for a lovely stay and i hope to visit again soon. ❤️🙏🏻

A very well run hotel with helpful friendly staff. The breakfast was very good, with very good service. The rooms were clean and spacious, with effective air conditioning, good light and fully working in-room facilities. The pool and gym areas are well laid out and the children's room was well stocked with toys.

There were no cooking implements in the room despite provision of a stove top, although this is common on many Thai apartments. A sharp knife would have been very useful. Otherwise the kitchen area was well stocked.

The location was excellent as we were very close to friends and also close to Bangkok City Centre. Everything about the hotel was excellent value for money. I was also very impressed with the level of Security at the hotel. The access control was excellent and I felt very safe and secure. The concierge team were also great and very helpful. The rooftop bar and swimming pool were excellent. Very close to local amenities & shopping malls etc. Would gladly stay at this hotel again.

The 10% service charge on every transaction on top of the 7% VAT. But if you are eating & drinking at the hotel then the way around this is to set up a tab that way you will only pay it once. But if you don’t keep an eye on that then it will build up costs. But I feel that as everything is such good value anyway the hotel they can do away with the service charge and still do very well through tips as all the staff are a great team.

Lovely hotel with some lovely staff, the receptionist named Eye needs a special mention for being polite, very informative and going out of her way to coordinate things! The rooms have everything you need, washer & drier, induction plates and vessels, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, a two door refrigerator. But overall the hotel is great value for the price we paid, we have cancelled our other hotels and are are going back to Oakwood within three days.

The swimming pool is lovely although they should check the chlorine levels as I felt it was too much and I had burning and red eyes that were very sensitive until the next day. Housekeeping should also keep a closer watch on replenishing tea/ coffee amenities.

Great location easy access to Skytrain, staff was very friendly and helpful specially house keeping team, will do everything for you and it’s really refreshing for amazing kind of service.

Unfortunately the only let down was during our stay the swimming pool was closed due to the maintenance service which they offer another swimming pool in a different location which is great but it’s inconvenient for jump in the taxi (free of charge) for20 mins just to go for a swim, beside that it’s was amazing service after all, and I can’t wait to go back when the swimming facilities open again in the near future.

The unit we stayed in was new and very clean with updated amenities. We loved that the unit had its own modern washing machine and balcony area that helped us keep our clothes clean for the duration of our stay and that the bed was super comfortable and well kept. All other facilities of the unit were also usable and available at our convenience.

The location was quite far from the areas where tourists often go to. We chose the location because it was mid-way from IMPACT Arena where we would be attending a concert for one of the days in our 4-day visit in Bangkok but for all the other days where we toured around, the commute was quite long.

We loved everything! The staff was very friendly, the hotel was super safe and modern, the beds were comfortable and our room/suite was very spacious. We loved that it included a microwave as well as a washing machine including a drying function! The location was quite good - quite close to the airport and the train station, good to visit for example Chatuchak market and other attractions in the Northern parts of Bangkok. The area of the hotel is very peaceful which was a great escape after visiting busier districts.

We loved it but depending on other guests' preferences it might be a bit outside of the city. We ended up taking a taxi most of the time to reach our destination. Watch out, the dryer takes about 4 hours in all 3 program settings. If you think you can quickly wash some clothes using the 15 min program, be aware drying will take hours or find a spot to hang them in case you stay longer.

The room was clean and equipped with an induction hob, microwave and full height fridge freezer. There was also a washing machine/dryer. Staff was polite and responded to requests quickly and efficiently. My son left his neck pillow after checkout and they were able to find it for us too!

The location is not ideal if you want to go into Bangkok with lots of traffic around the area. Having a vegetarian and halal food option would be appreciated too for the breakfast buffet.
