Firstly Mary she was always there to help and correspond. Secondly the location. Mary told us how to get around the temples which are beautiful and the park there. Unfortunately my husband was not well when we left Bangkok so did not get to do the boat trip or hire bikes with Mary. We should have booked everything through Mary including our minibus to Kanchanaburi

Great room with bath and wonderful common areas. Staff were super helpful orienting to sights. Overnight laundry service. Short ferry/walk from train station and a block away from minibus to Bangkok. Would stay there again!

Mary is a very good host, very welcoming from the start. Her tips were very helpful to explore Ayutthaya in the best way, she gave us a map with all the best temples and locations to visit. The hotel is clean, basic, located in a great position (10min walk from the ferry) and only 10min walking from the main temples. You can also rent a bike directly at the hotel (which for me was the best way to visit Ayutthaya)! I definitely recommend the place, very good value for your money. (Btw there's two lovely cats hanging around the hotel, you can find them at the reception most of the time) Thank you Mary, it was a very good experience!

It could be a bit noisy in the morning as is located facing a main road but nothing that earplugs won't fix! No big deal

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and there is an expansive upstairs open area for sitting and meeting other guests. The owner and staff were gracious and helpful, offering advice on which pharmacy to go to for the best service and a fair price, arranging a boat trip, and a tuk-tuk to the train station. The guest house is conveniently located in the heart of the old city. I would stay there again.

Manager Mary helped a lot. Smily face, nice and precise advices, really helpful. Also the location was fantastic, close to night market and historical places. Room was very clean, ac was working properly. There was not too much noise from the rood but still Mary did bring ear plugs just in case. Also bike and motorcycle rental was available and affordable, we choose bike and it was a fantastic two days for us.

I had a fantastic stay at the guest house! Mary is an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She provided us with excellent advice on exploring Ayutthaya, ensuring we didn't miss any of the must-see spots. Mary was always attentive, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The location of the guest house is also a huge plus, as it's within walking distance of many interesting places in the area. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Ayutthaya!

We booked our room for a very cheap price, but the total experience is really exceptional. We arrived early in the morning in Ayutthaya and tried our luck to see if we could check in early. Mary greeted us and confirmed that we could already check in with a THB100 fee, which is still pretty cheap considering it's hours away from the original check-in time. After processing our booking, Mary then proceeded to give us a mini orientation of what to do, where to go, the best places to visit, etc., around the area. She's the best! I really commend her for having such positive energy, especially since it's still super early in the morning. She then brought us to our room. I think we were upgraded since she moved us to an air-conditioned room? I'm not sure, but it was so nice of her. The room is nice and clean. Thank the heavens for the air conditioning unit as it is scorching hot outside. There's also free coffee in the common area just outside the room. Bottled water is available inside the refrigerator for THB10. The shared bathroom is okay too. You can also rent a bike for THB60 for the whole day. I highly recommend you do this if you're staying overnight as biking around the old city during the sunset and at night is something you wouldn't want to miss. Will definitely stay here again if we go back to Ayutthaya.

3rd guest house in Thailand to date and by far the best! Firstly, the hosts are lovely and could not be more helpful if they tried. One of the first questions they asked us was where are we going next and how are we getting there. After disclosing our plans and the bus company we were travelling with, they were immediately concerned. After listening to them and doing our own research, we realised we had potentially put ourselves in danger without travel arrangements. Luckily, with their help, we managed to book alternative arrangements through their own bus company, which was very competitive, trusted, and with added perks such as a shuttle transport service to the main bus. Additionally, the hosts helped us plan out days in Auytthaya and nearby Lopburi to get the most out of our stay. They could jot have done more. Since arriving in Bangkok o days ago, both my partner and I were yet to get a good night's sleep. Needless to say, we slept like logs on all 3 nights of our stay. Great facilities, daily free bottles of water, kitchen areas, communal hangout area with plenty of seating, hammocks and sunsets, bike rentals, great location, clean and comfy. This guest house is such good value, for I would absolutely recommend staying here. Our favourite guest house yet!

The staff were super welcoming and helpful - provided detailed advice on how to make the most of our 3-day stay in Ayutthaya and best way to get to Sukhotai - our next stop. We booked boat tickets and onward bus travel through them which was very convenient and cost effective. The boat tour was amazing and the bus journey most comfortable with lunch included in the price. The location of the guesthouse is great although it’s close to a rather busy road - a short bike ride to the historical centre (you can rent good quality, comfortable bikes on site for 60 baht pp per day and the owner made sure the tyres were fully pumped). Bath robes were provided which was a nice touch given the shared shower and toilet facilities. Lovely common area with comfortable armchairs, hammocks and a mini kitchen with a kettle, tea/coffee, fridge and a toaster.

It was a little noisy one night until about 11pm.

The Kindness of Willy and his wife. My bedroom and the place in general was super clean and the AC worked perfectly. They kindly kept my luggagge safe while I went to sleep one night in a neighbourhood town called Loc Buri (the monkey's city). The guesthouse is located a 15min walk from the main temples. They also rent bikes and motorcycles. The night market is also a 10min walk from the hotel which is nice. Ask Willy for advice if you want to get around Ayutthaya, he's got the best deals and information. I booked the best boat trip with him and also my bus to Sukhothai. I highly recommend !!!
