A True Gem in Phuket with the Friendliest Hosts! I come to Phuket regularly for Muay Thai training and always stay at Baan Suan, conveniently located near the legendary Singpatong Sitnumnoi gym. I initially walked in and stayed here for a month, and on my final day, I booked through Booking.com to leave an honest review. Since the new owners took over, Baan Suan has transformed into something exceptional. They're working hard to improve the property, and you can feel their dedication every day. The family hosting here is fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible. From the moment you arrive, they’re there to make life easy in a new country, always ready to help with anything you need. One of my favourite things about Baan Suan is its location. Perched on top of a hill, it offers some of the best views in Phuket. The air feels fresher, and the atmosphere is much cooler and more relaxing than in the city. The property has a lovely pool with speakers, which sets the mood for a great day. There’s even a sauna just a 10-minute walk away, and it’s easy to rent a bike directly from their office if you want to explore further. This place feels like home, not a hotel. While it doesn’t offer the luxury of a 5-star hotel, you get incredible value for the price you’re paying. The laundry service is very affordable, and the whole vibe of the place is laid-back and welcoming. The new owners, Mr Usman and Mrs Usman, are the friendliest people you’ll meet, and I genuinely appreciate all they’ve done here. I felt so at home here that there was hardly anything negative. Of course, no place is ever truly perfect, but Baan Suan comes incredibly close. It’s one of those rare places where I felt completely comfortable and truly at ease, just like being at home.

It was a good hotel! Very friendly staff who kept the room clean and throughout the territory, fulfilled all the necessary requests! The innkeeper Honey and his wife Kat were also very hospitable with whom we could talk for a long time. Also, a cafe will soon be open in the hotel and it will be possible to have breakfast, so we advise you to stay with them 100%! Thank you for the warm welcome and good mood!

Minor apparel inconveniences in the room

I don’t know where to start… From the beginning to the end the family, Usman, Nour, Abdullah, the staff and number #1 MAMA were incredible ❤️ We accidentally booked this villa as we got into a motorbike accident in Thailand and needed to be closer to the hospital. Something told me to choose this one on booking and thank god we did. I cannot tell you how thankful me and my husband are from the bottom of our hearts to this family. From the first day they carried me down from the taxi to the room, they brought us flowers, juice, fruit on the first day. Mama cooked for us everyday and made sure it was good food for healing wounds. Mama even went as far as coming to the hospital with us to clean everyday. They also made sure to lift our spirits as this was our vacation but we ended up in an accident on our first day in Thailand. All I can say is we are so thankful for everything and we have found new family in Buan Suan villa ❤️ if you’re thinking about booking this place don’t even hesitate, you will not regret it❤️ the hospitality is out of this world ❤️

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel near Patong Beach in Phuket, and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming host made me feel right at home. The service throughout my stay was impeccable, with every request being attended to promptly and with a smile. Although the property name is thai, the owners are basically english speaking Indian subcontinent natives. So communication shall not be an issue. Room: The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and clean, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The room also includes a kitchen cum dining area along with a big balcony. If you go for the sea view room, you can have a stunning view of the ocean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights after long days of exploring. Amenities: Includes 2 water bottles, fridge, microwaves, TV and wifi. Location: The hotel is ideally situated just a short 10 minutes drive from Patong Beach, amidst the green hills allowing for easy access to the vibrant beach scene and local attractions, while still offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Transportation: Grab and Bolt taxis are just a call away. The host also provides two wheelers on rent if you need it. Pool: The pool area was beautifully maintained, and I loved relaxing by the poolside bar with a refreshing drink in hand. They are planning to start a restaurant soon within the premises. Hospitality: It was great. The property is run by a young couple and their brother. They were very nice and open to feedback. They were available 24/7 and ready to help. Overall, this hotel provided everything I could have hoped for and more. Whether you're looking for a luxurious getaway, a convenient location, or exceptional service, this is the perfect place to stay. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Phuket!

Areas to improve: The television sets in the room need an overhaul since the remote function was quite a struggle. The bathroom needs some extra accessories like hooks and other stuff.

My stay at this hotel in Patong was truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond with their nice and friendly service—it felt like they genuinely cared about my experience. The room was spotless, and everything worked perfectly, which made my stay so much easier and stress-free. But honestly, the best part was the view from my room. Waking up to that stunning scenery every morning was absolutely unforgettable—it really made my trip feel special. I could sit there for hours just soaking it all in. If you’re ever in Patong, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s more than just a hotel; it feels like a little slice of paradise!

We stayed in the Deluxe Suite with Sea View on the top floor at my request, and this was arranged even after I made multiple disjointed bookings which only complicated matters. The view from the apartment is just fantastic, unobscured and overlooking all of Patong from an elevated position. Plus the terrace is huge, I'd say around 2m deep by 7m wide, and it's completely private. We were not overlooked by any other guests or hotels. Our apartment was also big and comfortable. The hotel is set in the hills and so it's very quiet at night, we slept really well. Plus In the morning I could sit with a coffee on the terrace which was lovely and quiet with only the sounds of birds from the surrounding trees. The hotel hosts were also excellent, any request I made was handled that same day. And what I also liked is that the service they provide is very personal to each guest. I only needed to call or text on their WhatsApp contact and my requests were dealt with efficiently and professionally the same day. If you want your room made up each morning then of course you can, or if like me, you prefer your room to be serviced or any other details attended to as and when you choose then that's no problem too.

If I had to nit pick something, on the first day I discovered the shower attachment was broken which meant I had to use the shower by holding the shower head with one hand, so not ideal. However I made this known to the hosts and they got it fixed the next day without any issues. So not really a negative.

I give 10 for the view and forgive all small issues. Staff was helpful and reacted on requests and was helpful But I advise staff put on every mattress protection cover from liquid between mattress and bedsheet there is special cover for mattress for that (girls you know…)

Well if you’re not very sensitive because it’s tropical climate. I saw ants but fix with insects that provided by property, that’s ok, I saw small lizards in my room they was not disturbed me only once when I forgot drink on table this small creature come inside my glass. One cockroach in shower but only one it’s not trouble at all. In general for this cost of money Appartament clean. Nothing was bad for me
