Honestly, this hotel is a little gem! My husband and I stayed 11 nights in a lovely refurbished room, 2nd floor overlooking well maintained pool area. Accommodation was huge, clean, comfy large bed with modern bathroom. The room had a lovely reading / lounging seat by the window. Breakfast outstanding with good daily choice. Cannot fault the location, as super close to beautiful beach and multiple restaurants. In addition, all the staff at Karon Sea Sands were just delightful - always smiling, friendly and very helpful. From reception staff, to housekeeping, pool and restaurant teams - a big thank you! Would highly recommend this hotel for a short or long stay.

no one from the hotel told us we got discount at O’Reillys and roof top bar next door, both owned by the hotel! we went there quite alot!

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the beach was a just across the road, the pool was perfect. O'Reilly's Irish Bar attached to the hotel was brilliant, all of the staff were fantastic and very welcoming and they served great food, the roof top bar was excellent. Would definitely recommend you give them a try.

The breakfast was very average, we felt it catered mainly towards the Chinese guests of which there were many of them but the staff at breakfast did a fantastic job.

What can we say about Karon Sea Sands, Phuket other than it is the BEST!!!! We chose Karon Sea Sands to celebrate a very special birthday and they could not have made the whole stay more special. We cannot praise or thank Peanuts enough for not only organizing a lovely room for us but for her beautiful smile and conversation. She and Jane at reception were a delight and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast crew were equally as wonderful and we must make a special mention of Cherry and Yee who greeted us with a smile every morning. We have to say the breakfast spread rivelled any of the 5star hotels and Yee makes a mean omelette. He and Cherry surprised my husband with a ‘pancake cake’ complete with candle and a happy birthday song on his special day!! And of course the simply gorgeous On. What a beautiful, beautiful soul, like the others always with a smile and a hug, tirelessly tending to the rooms and checking if there was anything we needed. She overwhelmed us when we came home from the beach on my husband’s birthday to find a happy birthday message made from leaves and decorated with flowers and two elephants made from towels on the bed!! Unbelievable! We were deeply touched. It looked like art – so talented. Basically, what more could you want from a holiday. A lovely, relaxed hotel with huge, clean rooms, balcony and fridge with the most amazing people you could ever wish to meet and an amazing breakfast every day while being just across the road from the beautiful, clean, clear waters of Karon beach. Type and volume of music from the pool bar ment we left our balcony door closed most of the time.

For 3 people the room was comfortable, beach was 2 min walk, breakfast had good verity. The people were very friendly.

We asked for laundry service, which we were not told the cost until it was too late. We didn’t realise we had to leave a deposit of 1000 thb per person, which cut down our spending money. We asked for a late checkout of 5 hours they couldn’t accommodate us, we had to pay 1500 thb.

I like this resort a lot! The staffs are very friendly, perpared a small cake for my son's birthday with candles. Room is big enough for 4 of us with an additional bed, and room got cleaned very well every day. i like the breadfest a lot too, the omelette is very well cooked, crispy bacon and fresh fruits are my must have everyday. Also, the pool is very good, water is clean, with jacuzzi and also different level of water depth so that the kids are having fun too. All in all, if I were in Phuket again, I will definitely choose this resort again！

The room price could be much higher if you take your kids with you, for 2 adults it's only about 250 rmb per night, however, with 1 more kid the room price jumped to almost double with only the same room, however, do we not want to book two rooms and rather stay in the same room, so that the price is not really good for additional kids.

I LOVED the location. It was right on the beach. The property sits a little back from the road (parking lot and pull up). As soon as you hit the sidewalk, the beach is right there. It’s also close to the bus stop. Pro tip: DO NOT pay for a Tuktuk or a taxi to the airport unless you’re pressed for time. You can pay 200 baht and ride the bus to the airport. It makes stops at beaches along the way but the ride isn’t bad and saves money. As for the property, the breakfast was nice but doesn’t vary, so long term guests may get bored. The pool area was well kept and looked clean though I never swam there- bring bug spray.

I had to use a cup and thought I had checked for cleanliness. There was a small stain (which I should have rinsed or cleaned) but attributed it to previous coffee stains (I didn’t think nor expect it to be a brand new cup) only to have the taste off coffee mixed with my milk. I was immediately appalled. I know that the highly trafficked areas like bathrooms and beds get cleaned, but this oversight was disgusting. That was the only negative experience, but did make me extra cautious using things.

I loved this resort and most of all I loved the people and the service...they were always friendly, happy and made me feel at home. The room was beyond my expectation, big, clean and very comfortable. Great location, across from a beautiful beach. I spent longer than I booked, and I plan on staying there again on my next winter holiday in Phuket. The breakfast was good, excellent service. I would love some bananas in the fruit section...not a big problem though!

The only complain is that the wifi cuts out, a bit frustrating but still thankful to have wifi.

It's located close to the beach. The kids enjoyed the on-site pool and our family also enjoyed having their breakfast in the mornings. We also liked the tucked in lobby that made transportation pick-up feel safer for our family relative to what we observed with other hotels around Phuket.

Nothing to complain about; we were pretty happy with the resort :)
