The room had aircon and was nice and spacious too with mosquito blinds, water and cappuccino sachet were provided with a daily refresh, breakfast was very big too and the staff were friendly. A great selection of drinks too and the food was better than when we went out for dinner.

No fault of Mango house, but we booked mainly because of the pool, but with the heatwave the weather was so hot the water was warm - so not as refreshing as we’d hoped! Also there are set menus for breakfast for 150 baht pp which are tasty and big, however there is a separate breakfast menu with a wider selection, but we didn’t realise this until the last day. Would still highly recommend!

The place is small and quiet, lovingly kept with attention to the smallest detail. Our little bungalow was really lovely, bright and spacious, just next to the swimming pool which was small but perfect to relax and sunbathe for a couple of hours. We had a couple of meals at their family-run restaurant and they were happy to accommodate our request for vegetarian options. It's a lovely place to spend some time at, more than just a room to sleep in, and the owners are really nice and helpful. Everything was lovely, from the outside area to the bungalow to the little restaurant! Highly recommended.

I loved everything about this place but be aware that if you're planning to visit the historical park in the Old Town you're half an hour away (around 200 baht with a tuk tuk). Just a heads up for people who have no idea that sukhothai has a New Town and an Old Town.

wonderful place to stay in Sukothai. The guest house is located very close to city center but in the very quiet area, Diona is an extremely friendly and helpful person. The holiday she works on keeping the facility, cozy and beautiful arranges flowers, and so on. Both the bungalows and the rooms in the main building are clean and comfortable and it was one of the best places during my five weeks here in thailand finally, I enlarged my stay for another two nights

The pool was lovely. The owners went out of their way to arrange a Tuk Tuk for us when no taxis were available during Songkran. The food was exceptional and you have to try the cocktails! They’re to die for!

We loved it all

We loved our stay in Mango House and felt privileged to have stayed there. The owner, Pong and his staff were very helpful and accommodating and the food was fantastic. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a day traipsing around new Sukhothai or the old historical park. The room was spotless with plenty of storage space, a safe, a hot shower, tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of lights and sockets ( complete with USB ports). The air con worked well and was quiet and the WiFi throughout was excellent. There was a tuk tuk on site ready to take you anywhere with a friendly and knowledgeable driver called Doh DOH who spoke good English. Mango House is very well located within walking distance of a lot of bars and restaurants, the day market, night market and walking street market. The bus station is about 30 minutes walk away or around 10 in a tuk tuk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning some day. Thank you Pong, Doh doh and all the staff at Mango House.

Words cannot describe how perfect our experience at Mango House was. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous : a real piece of heaven. Absolutely love the colorful bungalows, the pool and the restaurant where the food and beverages are to die for. I still dream of the mango and pineapple smoothie I had there. Regarding the hosts, I believe Pong and his wife are the most adorable and friendly people ever. We had a few good laughs about our cultural differences and made some fond memories. PS : if Pong tells you that Thai people don't bike 13km to go visit the Historical Park, believe him and don't do it : it's way too hot to do so! :) Looking forward to come back someday!

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

The hotel is charming, rooms clean and comfortable, breakfast was great. But what stands out is the owners / staff. In our case, 1- we did a mistake in the booking and they showed flexibility, which was really appreciated (even though first they were not super happy about our mistake... but who would be?). And 2- we forgot a hat when we left to Bangkok. For 70B, they went to the post office, sent it in express mail and we received it 2 days later in Bangkok. They didn't ask for any review (which honestly a lot of people would have done...). THANK YOU Mango House!

Nothing that I can think of

I booked a room last-minute and they were extremely accommodating and welcoming. I arrived a little late (after 20:00h) and the hosts came to help me with my car. The room was simple, but ut was so organized and clean. This place reminded me of little pensions we have back in my country, where there's a family who rents out a room and cooks for you. The breakfast was delicious and very well plated. I'm sad I didn't get to stay longer to try the food at their restaurant, but if it's anything like the Breakfast, I'm sure it is delicious!

Incredibly helpful staff, easily accessible location, very comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need. If you need to rest properly after your trip, this place is for you. We extended our stay here one more night because it really helped us to recover our energy for the next step of our journey. And food was delicious, to the point that I had to ask recipes of some since I will "try" to replicate the taste at home. You can rent bikes, and there is laundry service for a good price. Lady at the lobby (who also cooks fantastic) is very kind and she helped us with all the questions we had, including arranging tuktuk and bus.

Slightly more expensive than other places in the same tier but it's perfectly fine for the service you get.

Pongsip and his wife and staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The food (Penang curry in particular) was delicious, as was the set breakfast (khao tom, fresh fruit platter and fresh orange juice were all amazing). The smoothies they made were fantastic - I don't think I've seen such a comprehensive choice of fruit smoothies anywhere! Aircon in my room was good and the decor was plain but clean and good. I gather that the rooms in the huts have more artistic flair.
