My family of 4 stayed here for one night as a stopover for our trip to Elephant Hills and also we stopped on our way back from Koh Phangnan to get our flight to Bangkok the next morning. It exceeded our expectations for a stopover because we really weren't expecting a lot because the price was great. We stayed in the Riverside apartment which was really good, lovely view of the river, fantastic to hear the sounds of nature at night. Our boys loved that it had an upstairs bedroom and bathroom on both floors. Really clean, water in the fridge, mini bar, brilliant pool, lovely poolside bar with great food and drinks. Staff were so lovely and friendly too. We arranged a collection to and from the airport direct with the hotel which worked really well. I would definitely recommend staying here if you need a stopover on the way to the islands or Bangkok. You wont be disappointed.

Well we stayed here again this time in one of the garden view rooms and had a great view of the river from the lounge area. Again like the suite had lots to offer very beautiful decoration. The designs of the Villas are fabulous they have thought of everything. The pool is very clean with a great pool for children and the bar and restaurant are great. The staff are very helpful and friendly and will help you with anything you need. The bathroom, living room and bedroom are gorgeous and super clean. The bed was soo comfortable. The location on the river is great. I will stay here again for sure. The food is great and the breakfast is fabulous 🤩 thanks to the staff 😁

The cocktails are a bit expensive. I need tea in the rooms and the pool could be open later but really I love this place

This is a lovely resort on the river in a great location. The room was fabulous with a large fridge, kettle, and complimentary coffee water etc. There is a beautiful small lounge area and a large bedroom and large bathroom with a rain shower. They provide really nice shower gel and shampoo and more. Everything about this room is tastefully decorated and very well thought out. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the water is of very good quality in the Villas. The pool is very clean and is a medium size with a good size children's pool too and a little seating area in the pool close to the bar and restaurant. they also provide pool towels. The breakfast for just 150 baht is fabulous and it is a big breakfast with quality food that suits both western and Thai taste.. The restaurant offers Thai and western options and the food we had was lovely 😍 thank you so much for a wonderful time and would definitely stay again the suites are lovely.

The pool could be kept open later since the cleaning takes place in the morning. It closes at 7 pm and I think 9pm would be better. Also the rooms should have tea bags provided and sugar and milk for those that don't like coffee.

Lovely resort with nice rooms , comfy beds , powerful shower and good aircon. Lovely pool area on site with sun beds . Cafe , restaurant & bar all on resort. Friendly helpful staff who organised pick up from Surat Thani and drop off to Khoa Sok. Lovely cleaners went in daily to change towels and top up. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others .

A little far from everything , there is a 20 min walk to the nearest 7-11 but don’t let it stop you from booking . A great place to stop over for a night or 2 to chill . Air con unit was a little loud too.

This is an absolute gem! We stopped here for 2 nights after a very long train journey from Bangkok to Surat Thani (9 hours plus) before pushing on to Koh Samui. It has a lovely pool, attentive (but not overbearing) staff, and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. It also has a coffee shop and restaurant on site. The rooms were large, with a separate lounge area with a big fridge. The staff arranged pick up and drop off to the train station, which is only 5 - 10 minutes away. Overall, everything was smooth and relaxing! If you want to break your journey to and from Bangkok and Surat Thani, this is the place to go!

The only slight wrinkle was I found the bed a little firm but this was soon remedied by sleeping on top of the quilt!

1 night stay for family of 4 whilst travelling to Elephant Hills resort. Well located and maintained resort with small bunglalows and a nice pool and restaurant. Hotel arranged transfer from train station. Family bungalow with 2 ensuite rooms divided by a small lobby area. Well priced mini bar and good air conditioning. Good breakfast. Overall this was a comfortable and relaxing place to stay after a long train journey. The family running the resort are all very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Price was great and our cheapest night in Thailand.

No air con in the lobby area of bungalow - which was a bit confusing but didn't cause any major problems. Otherwise no complaints - the hotel was as described and we had a great stay.

Very (!) friendly staff, nice location, cool bar, cute café. The selection of craft beers, whiskies and rums in the bar is absolutely astounding. The food there is also nice and reasonably priced.

The decoration of the suites is a bit basic (but the suites themselves are spacious small individual houses and they are spotless). You might hear traffic from the nearby road. If you want absolute quiet, opt for a deluxe riverside suite.

For the purposes of an overnight stay before moving on to Khao Sok, this was perfect for us! You stay in your own little house, which was very sizeable! We arranged airport and bus station transfers with the hotel which we paid extra for on arrival by card, and the driver was very friendly and prompt! Our highlight was the pool on site. Food was delicious. Staff were super friendly. Lots of little geckos running around!

It's not near the hustle and bustle of Surat Thani - but this wasn't an issue for us, as we wanted somewhere relaxing to stay for the night before transferring to Khao Sok.

Immaculately clean, modern large aircon rooms. Good restaurant and bar in evening, lovely breakfast and lunch cafe. Fabulous swimming pool. Charming friendly staff. The staff made all guests a beautiful Krathong (floral floating bouquets) to float down the river to celebrate Takham Loy Krathong (Nov full moon festival). A very special hotel experience indeed.

Other reviewers have commented on bar prices, Foreign/craft beer is always expensive in Thailand. Local beers were very reasonable here.

We spent three nights here at Neenlawat Riverside and had a really wonderful time. The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially ‘John,’ who took care of everything with great care. The pool is a perfect place to relax while enjoying some delicious smoothies. Overall, everything is very well-maintained. We even received an upgrade, and John made sure we got to the train station in the middle of the night to catch our night train. Thank you so much for that! We'll definitely come back!
