I stayed here for a week and felt very comfortable. The family were friendly and waved when they saw me. My room was cleaned daily. There was a fridge in the room and complimentary daily water. Shower was hot and pressure fine. WiFi and aircon worked well. Great co-working coffee shop literally right next door. Appreciated good communication via WhatsApp throughout my stay.

Should have researched the location a little more: it really is away from everything and the streets are not walkable, so reliant upon a Grab to take me anywhere.

The Owners are lovely and very helpful and welcoming, the lady even offered to take us to the airport if we couldn’t find an Uber, which was really generous. The room is very clean, included a fridge and TV and good storage space for luggage, feels quite new and bathroom was well equipped with a good shower. I would definitely stay here again!

As the room was very new it felt a bit bare, so maybe some decor to soften the room would be nice :) Location is a bit out of town, we decided to walk which took approx 40 mins and was really nice through the residential streets, the accommodation also have bicycles to go into town if you wish.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Very good value. Within a few minutes walk you can find restaurants and grocery stores. Jan was there to greet us before we even got out of our Grab and welcomed us and helped with getting our luggage to our room. We had read that she would make us dinner upon request so we had a delicious dinner in her little tree and plant lined courtyard. My husband had a Sea Bass curry which was the best fish he has had so far after 3 weeks in Thailand. Perfectly cooked. My curry was wonderful as well. Jan got some of the spice and produce from her garden while we were sitting and enjoying the birds around the area. One was hanging around one of the hanging baskets and I received some follow up messages and pictures that showed a nest and then a picture of a baby bird and another egg. These are the best memories that you make on a holiday! I cannot comment on location but it was about 15 minutes from the train station (300 bht) and then the Grab picked us up the next morning for our trip to Koh Lanta. (We were even able to watch a bit of Netflix on TV in the room.)

The only thing to mention is that the AC was noisy but there is also a perfectly situated quiet fan in the room which was very pleasant and we used ear plugs. For the price there is no way you can expect perfection!

The host was so nice and friendly. She helped me with a ferry booking, called to the ferry company to make sure I will get everything on time. She gave me also a bicycle to use for free. The room was huge and all clean. The place is quiet. There was an amazing coffee shop next to it. The guesthouse also offers really nice Thai food (they have a restaurant inside). Found multiple vegan options on a menu. Taxi to the city center is super cheap.

Everything was trully perfect

Siri Guesthouse is the best place we stayed in Thailand! It is located in a safe and quiet area, close to good cafes and massage places. The night market is 5 minutes away by taxi (about 80 Baht). Also, there are free bikes! The room was clean and spacious, with both air conditioning and fan, and the bed comfortable. What makes this place special is the host, Jar. She is very kind and attentive, speaks very good English and gave us great recommendations. We highly recommend this place! We will definitely come back.

Lots of homely and modern touches, super spacious, clean, friendly service, comfy beds, delicious food. The area was nice and quiet with a lovely co-working coffee shop nearby, quick and easy to get Grab taxis into the centre if needed. We loved getting to use the free bikes to get about Surat Thani. Was a cosy place to land before and after going on a 10 day silent meditation retreat and Suan Mokkh International Retreat Centre. Owner is lovely, helpful and speaks English very well. Would definitely book again next time passing through Surat Thani. ❤️

What's not to like?! We loved it so much we went back for another stay on the way back. 😊

As others have said, the owner/manager is so friendly and accommodating. We only stayed one night, but she already made a lasting impression. She went out of her way to make us a delicious dinner and even opened the restaurant early to make us breakfast. My partner was so thankful that she made her some simple, bland food without the usual Thai spices. The accommodation itself is simple, but comfortable. The room was large and had everything you’d expect for a short stay. The fact you can borrow bikes for free is pretty cool. It’s located conveniently to a large supermarket, a few restaurants, and a fancy cafe and co-working.

Slightly odd smell in the room.

Everything! But first and foremost - our wonderful hostess Ms. Jar. We arrived late, around 19:30, exhausted and drained. The restaurant kitchen was already closed but Ms. Jar has cooked a full big meal especially for us. She speaks fluent English and is always ready to help and recommend places in Surat Thani. Should I also say that the food was so far the best one Thai Food we had eaten in Thailand. Fresh, light, hearty. Ms. Jar even added less spice for us upon request. We spent the best time with the best hostess. The room is sparkling clean, fully renovated and quiet. Ours was on the ground floor with a terrace, where we could have a drink and enjoy our time. The balcony door has the mosquito net, so this problem goes away - you can sleep with your window open and enjoy the night air! The room is also equipped with a fan AND the AC - so there is everything for any taste. We didn’t watch TV but it works fine. WIFI is strong and stable. The bed is clean, comfortable, with four big cushy pillows and sparkling white cotton sheets. It was also big enough for us. There is a kettle, a fridge and some instant coffee and water, which us replenished during cleaning. The bathroom is a classic Asian bathroom, where everything gets wet during the shower. It is clean, cozy, with big bottles of Shampoo, Shower gel and even Hair Conditioner! There are also cotton swabs for your free use. And four towels! The furniture is also new. If you need any help or additional items, Ms. Jar will be there for you to find a solution. You may also borrow a bike and an umbrella for the day.

Some mentioned the location. This is a cul de sac in the southern part of Surat Thani town. Which means it is not 5 minutes away from the river. If you walk, it’s quite a stretch. But we used Grab all the time - it’s 10 minutes by taxi to the central part of Surat Thani (~80-120 Baht), around 35-45 minute ride away from the Airport(~300 baht). Which was more than ok for us. The Guesthouse offers free parking too, and Ms. Jar can offer you a good place where you can rent a moped. What you get is a quiet place where you can sleep and breathe good air. Yes, it is by the small road, occasionally you will hear some cars passing by. But it is not a big problem at all.

Ja is an excellent host, very helpful and went out of her way for us. The room is spacious, clean and nothing flash, just what we expected. Ja pointed us in the direction for great coffee ( next door!) She cooks great Thai food very cheaply. We also really appreciated the free bicycles that allowed us to explore the city, keeping a cool breeze going as we went. We nosied about the city for our two days there.

Room was clean and a great value. I was only there for 1 night, so it was a great spot if you’re looking for a nice, affordable, quiet place on your way to or from the islands. Owner was very sweet and helpful, and helped me book a taxi to the bus terminal.

The location is a bit isolated and without too many restaurant options.
