Its a hidden gem. So conveniet for staying overnight for transiet flights. Close to the airport (10min away so you pay like 10$ for an uber). Located in a calm neighborhood. The room is clean and bathroom is clean. Everything looks new and well made. Bed is comfy. Lighting is good. The street view is nice. Very Recommened with a really good price ( for example yotel airport hotel is atleast 350$ per night where as this u can find it for 50~60$ with 20$ taxi from and to the airport). Staff is nice and helpful. Perfect and couldnt ask for more

Close to the airport, helpful and very friendly staff :) It felt like the building was new and fresh. Everyone wanted to help us which was very nice. Food delivery is available to the room. We did not have time to use it, but the menu inspired confidence. This place is perfect if you need to sleep for a few hours and get a good nights rest.

We rented a room with jacuzzi and sauna for one night. The weather was just right to take advantage of all that this place had to offer. But alas. When switching on the sauna, the plugs were knocked out, and the Jacuzzi was filled with a small jet for almost two hours, during which time it had time to cool down. We did get a great draft pressure though. It was bad weather with strong winds and the doors in the rooms were not doing their job as they are interior doors and not full entrance doors.

As I purchased very nicely priced tickets with Turkish Airlines which suggested an overnight stay in Istanbul, my goal was to find a hotel that is close enough to the airport, so we don't spend ages in traffic and in the morning can get an extra hour of sleep. As this is not the first time we have a short stay in the Turkish capital, I already have some experience in airport hotels, but so far I never had a hotel I wanted to come back to. Every time it was fair for one night, but not good enough. And it's not about "bad relation of price and quality", or "the breakfast that is not substantial enough" or "the noise coming from the planes", like some of the fellow-travelers mention in their comments -- if those things are important, one can always go closer to the city center and spend more time in traffic. My wish was that I get a crispy clean room, decent in size, a smiling hotel manager, and not more than 15 mins in the taxi to reach the place. This combination never happened before, until I found "Elysian", and with them the problem of a good airport hotel is solved! It offered me a room of an excellent size, with a sauna (!), a huge jacuzzi, and a balcony. I was greeted nicely by the receptionist who did not look grumpy or sleepy, and in the morning the procedure of the check-out was nice and smooth. And it takes 10 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport. No noise from the planes, no sounds from the neighbors, no distractions to my sleep!

I guess the hotel could offer breakfast or have a coffee machine for those waiting for a taxi, but maybe it's in the plan and will happen sooner or later. Transfer to / from airport: this is not a complaint to this hotel in particular, but to the Turkish hotels in general -- they all claim to have transfers available, but then try to charge travelers extra money for a slightly better car. It's not worth it -- like 10 Euro for a usual taxi vs 35 -- 50 Euro for hotel transfer, while it's a 10 minute journey. So, statement "airport transfer available" might be misleading, better arrange taxis without the hotel's help.

The best part of this hotel is the staff. The customer service is fantastic and everyone is very helpful and accommodating. They allowed me to pay with credit card for the shuttle even when it says multiple times it's cash only- just an FYI, it's worth asking.

I was looking forward to the jacuzzi in the room, but it does not work so well, takes a long time to fill up and the jets don't work well/are cold. Also shower wasn't great, low water pressure and shower head wouldn't stay put and kept veering to the side.

Cost of the ride for airport

The comfortable room, the lighs, cleanness and the nice bathroom. Anyway we just had to stay for 15 hours for our next flight and considering the price it was a bargain.

Just forced to buy a more expensive shuttle service for going back to the airport as they claimed our luggages were too many although we had come to the hotel with a smaller shuttle and yet we could fit all of them inside of it. We were in another hotel a month before and they transferred us with a smaller shuttle with ease while we had the same amount of luggages. Our room had absolutely no view, just a dark patio outside of the widnow next to a ruined building. Fridge was also broken.

I chose the king suite with 1 person sauna and 4 person jacuzzi). I enjoyed my stay very much; the bed was super comfortable… the bathroom (deep royal green - very soothing) with the Turkish sink (hammam style) in the shower was clean and modern. The TV / mirror was very innovative and clever use of the space (the huge mirror was also the huge TV) The jacuzzi and the sauna in the room were exactly what I needed after traveling and in preparation for my next leg. The jacuzzi is huge, so start filling it up a while before you want to get in. They have bubble foam as well which made me feel half child and half princess. It’s not a room you’d want to leave …. It’s perfect for people wanting to stay near the airport and for weary travelers.

The only things that came as a surprise was that they had a complimentary mini sewing kit in the bathroom with no sewing kit inside. I was a little taken aback as wanted to fix a hole in some trousers but Im not complaining as I saw this as a bonus anyhow (wasn’t expecting a sewing kit to begin with). More importantly they don’t do food so you have to order from next door take away. Make sure you have Turkish lira as they don’t accept credit cards and they don’t give you change. I gave the guy some money expecting change to give tips to people but he just left with it! I would happily have tipped him also but not 100% of the meal price.

We had to catch an early morning flight ( travelling with kids) so I was looking for a family friendly hotel near the airport. If I have to do it again, I will definetly stay at Elysian airport hotel. We booked family suit ( connected rooms with own bathroom). Location is very convenient only 15 minutes drive to airport . Staff were very friendly. Very clean. New facility with modern design. I Highly recommend the hotel to those who needs to stay near the airport for any reason.

No much to do at neighbourhood

It's a very new and squeaky clean place, in fact there was still construction on one floor (still never noisy though). The staff was super friendly and available 24h. The location is pretty convenient for an airport hotel and overall value for money is great.

It's further from the airport than it looks; Booking says 5km as the crow flies but on the road it's 13km. We also hadn't realized just how far from the city it is. They don't have any restaurant; you can always order from a nearby 24h restaurant but eating in your room isn't as nice (there are three tables available outside but in bad weather or with many guests that's not a lot) and their food is so-so.
