As first time in cappadocia Balloon Cave hotel and staff help us in everything,from tours to airport shuttles to balloon ride booking and answered all my questions.They even waited for us since we arrive at late hours.The breakfast was traditional turkish breakfast which we enjoyed everyday. Wifi was great. We forget to bring an adaptor for our UK style sockets for the charger but they let us borrow there’s for the whole time we stay. Rooms are class cave house and ambiance is very warm,welcoming and class vibes. I would definitely book again in the future. Love the hotel and the staff. Also the terrace place in the roof top is perfect for hot air balloon viewing and pictures. I am very happy and satisfied in there service and there hotel from a mom of a 2 y.o boy. Highly recommend.To the staff, keep it up guys!you made our holiday extra special. Thank you for your hospitality.

My room was warm and comfortable. The fragrance was floral, fresh and comforting. Easily accessible to restaurants in downtown area. The staff, including Kadir, Cesur, and the two Emres, were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The cleaning staff was personable, and the onsite restaurant provided a plentiful and adequate breakfast. I would recommend this hotel for its charm, warmth, and friendly staff, especially at this price.

Even though there is a ramp which makes getting into the hotel accessible, once in, there is no elevator to move you between the first and third floors where the restaurant is located. There are additional steps up to the terrace. I am not sure how the hotel handles wheelchairs or elderly clients who are unable to climb stairs.

It was a wonderful holiday from start to finish. The entire hotel team was very helpful and always smiling. We arrived at the hotel at 1 a.m. after a twenty-hour journey, I felt like drinking beer that I could no longer buy in a store or pub. I asked the porter at the reception if I could buy a beer at the hotel, he said I could go to the room and he would take care of it. I was expecting a can of beer, but two minutes later the porter appeared with a tray on which he had 2 chilled beers, 2 frozen mugs and a bowl of peanuts. From then on, our stay at the hotel was a dream. The breakfasts were delicious, always something different from hot dishes. The coffee from the espresso machine was ok, but I like strong coffee, so the lady at the dining area made me delicious Turkish coffee without any problems. Rooms clean. The view of the Goreme panorama is wonderful, especially in the morning when the balloons were flying. Every morning (5AM) the porter Emre brought us delicious tea to the observation deck. We would like to thank all hotel employees. It was a wonderful stay.

It was in city centre. Just 5 min walk to market and best restaurants in town.

I recently stayed at the Balloon Cave Hotel in Göreme and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is excellent, and the staff is stellar. They were extremely accommodating, friendly, and welcoming, making my stay very enjoyable. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing, offering both delicious food and stunning balloon views. The staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a great experience. The hotel's location is perfect, just a few steps away from the Main Street in Göreme, which is full of restaurants and shops. I highly recommend the Balloon Cave Hotel to anyone traveling to Cappadocia.

This hotel is a little gem! We had an excellent stay, it is within walking distance to the town centre of Goreme, thus easy to access the tourist attraction offices/ pickup points, souvenir shops and lots of nice restaurants! The staff is lovely,helpful and always looked out for us; a special shoutout to Mr Kadir who helped us with some of our bookings! The breakfast was good and fresh, limited variety but enough to fill you up. Spacious, comfortable and clean room with sufficient storage.

Staff were friendly - both front desk (who kept offering to help carry our bags and offered us chocolate for bayram), and the breakfast staff. Decent location, walkable to most everywhere else - and because it's slightly out of the way, it's quiet. Enjoyed the breakfast upstairs. Watching the balloons from the roof was cool.

A bit overpriced, maybe by 20%. Parking is in front of the hotel on the street. It's a safe enough town, but zero security. Not really a cave hotel at all: it abuts against the rock and *maybe* a room or two are "cave-like", but I looked at 80% of the rooms - they were just normal.

The balcony to the room was nice addition. The staff went above and beyond and this is what made our stay. They were always greeting you upon arrival/leaving the hotel. And they even prepared sandwich and juice for our early morning departure.

Hotel is a bit dated The light in the separate living area is too dim, I had to put on my phone light to be able to see. Breakfast is mediocre. Would be nice to have some breakfast or tea&coffee whilst watching the balloons Would be good to have a tv in the bedroom area

Very nice small hotel in this area. Very nice guy meet us on our arrival, and he was checking every time if we enjoying our stay, if we need something. Beds are very comfortable, it was strange experience to sleep two days in a cave, but we enjoy it much. Breakfast is served in a roof top restaurant so you can enjoy sun and look at the valley when you are drinking morning tea. There is also a small roof top pool - unfortunately wheatear wasn't on our side, so we didn't manage to test it. The hotel is situated on a quite part of the town, but very near (5min walking distance) to more crowded area full of restaurants. It was a great stay for us, beside bad weather that we experience during our stay in Goreme.

Maybe you should think for bigger air dryer in the room. Just on the second day I realize that the air is quite wet (normally for the cave). I saw there is a dryer in the room, but not big enough. For sure it is not a problem that will ruin the great experience that you can get in Balloon cave hotel!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming family-run cave hotel in Cappadocia, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff's attentiveness truly made our stay memorable. In comparison to the larger 4-star hotel on the other side of Cappadocia, the Balloon Cave Hotel was by far a superior experience! The personal touch and attention to detail at Balloon Cave Hotel outshone the larger establishment. The rooftop terrace proved to be a delightful haven for relaxation after a busy day of travel, where we could sip on local wine indulge in snacks (including Baklava!), chatting with friends, all while gazing at the mesmerising night sky. It provided the perfect setting for enduring memories! The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the Jacuzzi bath was an inviting oasis of relaxation. It's the little details like these that set this hotel apart. The highlight of our trip was the magical balloon flight experience that Bayram (the proprietor) personally arranged for us to celebrate my birthday, including a surprise birthday cake when we landed. It was a truly unforgettable adventure with exceptional aerial opportunities for spectacular photography, which have captured memories of a lifetime. Additionally, the availability of daily guided tours, easily organised by the accommodating staff, contributes to the overall convenience and enjoyment, saving the trouble of having to plan it all. All you have to do is think about what you're eating for lunch or dinner! 😉 In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend booking a stay at this hotel. The only downside is that I wish we could have spent even more time there. It's a gem in the heart of Cappadocia, offering comfort, warmth, and a genuine sense of hospitality that's hard to come by!
