The room was very spacious with lots of extra amenities like toothbrushes and sewing kits. Breakfast was traditional Turkish with choice of eggs each morning. We could hear more of other guests from our room than we would have preferred, but it was not a big issue. Staff was quick to greet us at the front desk each morning as we left. We had the double room with bath and realized we could not keep our windows open as we were at street level. Not a major issue, but something to note if you want that room. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Our windows were right at street level so it was not wise to open them for the night air as we prefer. It also meant that having the blinds open would not allow for privacy. The room is a bit dark with them closed.

Everything just exceeded what I'd ever expected from a hotel at this price. Starting from a super convenient location, especially if you travel to Goreme by bus. It's just across the street from the bus station. We came early in the morning and the staff allowed us for early check-in with no additional charge. The room was cozy, clean, full of amenities. The best part would be the breakfast. It was a super big meal, served on the covered rooftop restaurant where you can see balloons flying. Nice coffee, bread with honey, chocolate dip or jam, various types of cheese, pastries, omelet cooked in a way you like, cheese fries, fresh fries, and fresh fruit. I can't think of anything more I would ask for. Absolutely perfect and strongly recommend!!!

Most humble staff I have ever seen in my life. You call for anything and they try their best to do it with a SMILE on their faces. I don't remember the names but both morning and evening shift receptionist were wonderful. They helped us for everything possible especially the morning shift lady. She was super generous, even the facility manager was superb. They arrive to the room with a single call and help you with the same SMILE. This hotel stay made my trip. I would love to stay their again. Also, it's in center of Goreme, you can get beautiful views from the terrace and all the balloons are visible from the hotel terrace itself. The hotel lobby and restaurant had heaters so you can not feel outside cold at all. You can easily get taxis from outside and it was very near to the outside market. I can go on and on. This property is definitely recommended.

Our stay at Luxury Cratus Stone Palace was outstanding! The service and kindness extended by the reception staff Suzan as well as housekeeping and the restaurant made our stay special. Suzan was so helpful and went out of her way to make sure our questions were answered and our stay was comfortable. We were even upgraded to bigger rooms available on our arrival. For our first evening we enjoyed drinks on the roof terrace which offers a beautiful view of Goreme, plus a delightful meal at the restaurant. The location is a nice short walk to all restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a modern stone hotel experience and great service.

Cratus Hotel in Goreme orchestrated a flawless experience for us. From coordinating breathtaking tours like the Air balloon ride, ATV tour, to the enchanting Turkish night, they ensured every moment was memorable. Their shuttle services were efficient, and the restaurant served delightful Turkish cuisine and excellent wine. The staff's exceptional friendliness, assistance, and perpetual smiles added an extra layer of warmth to our first-time Goreme adventure. A heartfelt thank you for an amazing experience!

Nice spacious rooms and a luxurious bathroom. A nice balcony to relax in the evenings. Excellent views of the balloons from the terrace. Centrally located. Easy to walk to city centre and surrounded by several restaurants. Out of all the places we stayed in turkey, we enjoyed the breakfast here the most. x

We were prepared for this so didnt mind, but the place does not have elevators so not suitable for people with mobility issues or families who may use strollers.

I wish I could rate more than 5 star. The reason for me saying that is, to start with, the welcome was very warm with the welcome tea and we were also allowed 4 hrs early check-in (we did give the heads up to hotel before our arrival). The staff is very friendly and taking of very small/big needs throughout the stay. We were discussing with them about our restrictions for balloon ride due to 3yr old. The manager instantly resolved it by arranging a babysitter and helped us do the balloon ride together. He also save the day by arranging an adhoc vehicle/driver for us to spend 4 quality hours exploring the nearby areas. Final day, when we were about to depart, we were running late to catch the flight. His amazing gesture when he and his team rushed to pack breakfast, arrange a cab and see us off with the take away apple tea really won our heart. It felt like our family was seeing us off with packed meal, tea and good wishes. Cappadocia is a great place to visit. In addition such an amazing and heart felt gesture made this trip one of the most memorable trip of my life! Can not recommend enough #cratus hotel and it’s staff 😊

balloon view is not great

A very pleasant hotel in the heart of the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hotel for 7 days and felt at home. Thank you very much to all the staff of the hotel, especially for Suzan and Yasar Kilic. They helped arrange airport transfers, car rentals and hot air balloon flights.

Lovely view of the city where we ate breakfast on the terrace. Breakfast was served on a plate with a large selection, in addition we were given a choice of eggs, coffee and freshly squeezed juice. The manager, Ramazan, went above and beyond our expectations. We were unlucky enough to get a crack on our front windshield while on our trip to Göreme. He followed us around to get this fixed. All praise to him. We have never experienced better service at a hotel. We had a great time. Lovely room, great staff.

The jacuzzi on the terrace was a bit pricy; 100 euros for breakfast there in the morning (per person). No water in the jacuzzi the whole time we were there. No one used it, probably because it was too expensive. We would have used it if it was a slightly better price.

The hotel is perfectly located in Goreme center, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Not far from the main road yet very quiet in the rooms. Super clean and comfortable furniture in the spacious hotel room. Staff were very friendly and always helpful with a big smile in their faces. I Will definitely come and stay again. Thanks for the memorable experience.
