Vefa was an amazing host. He couldn’t have done more to help us! Alhambra Apartment Hotel was perfect for our family; within walking distance of all the tourist attractions and close to good restaurants and shops. The small kitchenette with a fridge was a good facility in the hot weather!

Nothing, but it’s at the bottom of a steep hill, so it’s worth knowing that each outing starts with a good walk!

- The hotel is located in a quiet location. - Easy access to the historic center, shops nearby. - Convenient access to the airport (12 minutes walk to M2, transfer to M11). - Although my bed didn't look comfortable from the outside, it was very comfortable to sleep on. The pillows were just the way I like them). - Daily housekeeping in the rooms. - There is a playground nearby.

My room had the following minor issues: - No temperature control on the radiators -- they are either very hot or cold. - The closet was not stable, it almost fell down a few times. Keep an eye on the kids. - The kitchen cold water faucet is located in such a way that it is impossible to turn on the cold water completely. - The toilet lid does not fit properly. - The hotel is in a low-lying area so it may be difficult for someone to get uphill.

Nice hotel, very near to the city center and all comodities and touristic sites, there were normal shops and restaurants around (no tourist traps), tram station can be reached within 10-15 min (uphill !) we had been lucky that our room was quite, towards the backyard, as the environment is quite crowdy, quite some traffic bathroom was tidy, beds were comfortable access via code worked very well

There is a kitchenette, unfortunately not equiped (no knifes, spoons etc.), so we could not even make a soup or drink a coffee with sugar. Asking for spoons ended in a "very direct" YOK. As well, the room was only maintained only once in 5 days (towls changed, bed arranged etc.).

The hotel is located in the Old part of the city. All attractions are within walking distance! The staff is very friendly, they are at the reception 24/7. We rented apartments because we were traveling with two children. in the room: stove, kettle, refrigerator, plates, spoons, forks, pots, etc. Mini-gels and mini-shampoos are also provided, as well as disposable slippers. I would add 0.5l water in the refrigerator. Excellent value for money! I fell in love with your city and the wonderful people living in it.

The location was absolutely wonderful! You could see the sea from the streets nearby, walk to all the monuments in the area and even the grand mosque. Yet, the property managed to be in a quiet corner where you could getaway from the chaos of the touristy areas.

The size of the room for 6 people was a bit stuffy with just one bathroom + toilet to share. But I would stay here again if travelling with fewer people.

The location was just top notch and it's the cutest hotel I've seen so far.The room was more than enough to accommodate 4 people with a spacious bathroom as well, lovely decor and very pleasant and helpful staff.The owner helped us through navigating our trip and booked a boat trip for us which was absolutely gorgeous.Can not wait to go back and will definitely choose this hotel again!!!

There was nothing bad to say in regards the hotel or the staff

The apartment is very central, we visited all the main attractions by foot. The apartment was spacious and clean, reception is open 24h to get help. The staff is amazing and ready to help (to book taxis, activities and to provide information even via whatsapp). A special thanks to Vefa who was a perfect host! We definitely recommend it!

The bathroom could be improved - the shower is quite spacious but there is not enough water pressure (problem if you have long hair!)

Vefa was an excellent host. Very helpful, available at 6am when we arrived from the airport. Very attentive, provided towels/blankets/umbrellas when needed. Useful kitchenette facilities in each room, electric hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, plates, sink. Excellent location in Sultanahmet, lots of smaller mosques 1/2 mins walk. Blue mosque & Aya Sofya (same site) about a 15 minute walk away. Good value 7 seater return transfer to airport offered, saved us paying 2 taxi fares and pick up from right outside the hotel.

One of the rooms had a shower drain outside the main shower cubicle, not an issue just slightly annoying. AC in each room, can be slightly noisy at night.

All ok with the place, I was happy with my choice. The room and the bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable. The street gets noisy a little too early in the day, but that is not something that can be helped anyway. I mainly chose this accommodation because of its location, as it was just a few minutes walk from the Tram line 1 and from a lot of famous Istanbul attractions such as the Blue Mosque and it saved me a lot of time:-) The staff was great and they answered all my questions before arrival on WhatsApp, thank you for that. I would definitely go back:-).

The location was great, a few minutes away from Sultanahmet. Location is a few minutes away but takes a few extra minutes to get around as the roads are busy.

Most a great hotel, just a little run down. But the location makes up for it.
