In general, everything suited us. The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the main sights. There is a tram stop nearby that takes you anywhere in the city. The room is clean, there are slippers, shampoo, gel and soap. Be aware that Istanbul is a hilly city, this is not a disadvantage of the hotel, but you will have to go up and down steep roads throughout the city. It is also worth mentioning that prayers are heard from the mosques, this happens five times a day and the first prayer is in the early morning (4 or 5 am) - there are a lot of mosques in the city, so wherever you live, you will hear a prayer. The only remark to the hotel - some pieces of furniture are starting to break down and it's time to change them. If you want to get to the Sophia temple, then you should come for breakfast at 08:30 and at 09:00 go towards the temple. If you come to the entrance of Sofia around 09:30, you will quickly get inside (10 minutes approximately). But if you come there at 11 or 12 o'clock in the afternoon, then there will be a queue for 3-4 hours.

The breakfast was excellent - a traditional Turkish spread with plenty of choice! Location is good, as you’re only a 5 minute walk from the Blue Mosque

I had 2 rooms while staying here and they were very different experiences. The first was below street level, could have been cleaner and was incredibly damp - the air was thick but the AC didn’t help much and, because you’re at street level, you can’t leave the window open. The second room was much nicer, brighter and cleaner. It’s a small thing but the sheets (in both rooms) were poor quality and very scratchy and should be replaced.

The hotel looks like its been recently renovated. The room and the bathroom are very clean. The lighting and the air conditioning work perfect. The room looks exactly the same as the photos. The breakfast is amazing too with a variety of Turkish breakfast options. Rooms are cleaned daily. The manager and staff are very friendly and helpful. We requested a room change and they quickly supported us. We also booked the family room which is also like the pictures but has not been renovated like the double and twin rooms. There was a washing machine and kettle in that room too.

The family room was in a different building but we requested to change to a double room instead and the manager very kindly agreed. The family room could be a little cleaner (there were crumbs and a cup of tea still there when we came) but the double rooms were spotless.

We loved the location of the hotel, such a close proximity to all the major attractions, city centre. It was easily walked and tram services were nearby to reach the Asian side as well. The breakfast was prepared freshly every day and IT had everything you could want. Fresh bread and Turkish pastry, salads, hot foods, coffee and tea. Absolutely excellent and delicious. The host was friendly and helpful. I recommend this place to everyone. We also had a patio which was very much appreciated after a long day of walking.

Great location, walking distance from most of the "must-see" sites. Very friendly stuff, helpful and hard working. Beautiful sea-view, nice and clean bathroom. Great breakfast. Excellent transfer from the airport at arrival.

Wifi was not available during our stay. As the reception and the restaurant is downstairs, it's a bit dark (even in colors). Small room and bathroom, hardly any place to leave our things. Short bed for tall people. Transport back to airport was horrible, the driver was looking at his phone during the whole time. He didn't take my luggage with enough care.

everything was really great. you really get your money worth ! we received new water bottles everyday, same for the soap/shampoo the breakfast was delicious: very good food the reception is available until very late and they helped a lot the neighbourhood was not noisy: very easy to sleep at night

the room was a bit small but you can walk freely a few details to change in the bathroom but in general it was very clean and very new

The hotel is very well located in the Fatih district near the two large mosques (Blue and Hagia Sophia) and a multitude of very good restaurants. The breakfast is nice, there is the minimum. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Caravan Suite in Istanbul with my son for two days, and I have to say it was perfect! The location of the hostel was super central, which made it easy for us to explore the city. Additionally, the hostel itself was very clean and well-maintained, which was a big plus for me. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the manager and receptionist. In the middle of the night, they helped me when I needed to go to the hospital for a check-up, and they even did it for free! Their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond truly made a difference in our stay. Despite the bad weather during our stay, the staff's attitude was superb. They were always friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. I was really impressed with how they maintained their positive attitude even when things were out of their control. It's clear that the staff at Caravan Suite cares about their guests and wants them to have the best experience possible. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Caravan Suite and would definitely return in the future. The service provided by the manager and receptionist was exceptional, and the staff's positive attitude and friendliness made our stay even better. I highly recommend Caravan Suite to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Istanbul. The central location and cleanliness of the hostel were also major factors in making our stay a great one.

Nothing to dislike. It was perfect

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, it’s small but the service of all is very warm. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked very well. Good wifi and the breakfast was different but good. The hotel is close to the tourist attractions, we walked everywhere, very safe area. Will reserve there next year for our vacations. Thanks again to the two guys at the lobby👏👏They helped a lot.
