Located in the heart of Fatih/Istanbul, we have reserved a room at Dundar as I had come to Turkey to do shopping for my wedding. We arrived early, and were confused about the location as Fatih does not enable cars to travel during specific hours for pedestrians. I instantly contacted the hotel, the owner picked up the phone and instantly knew who I was. He sent a staff and letter to show the guards to let us through with our car that we rented. The owner greeted me and allowed us to access our room earlier than our check in time as we had just come from the airport and were tired. A employee had assisted me to my room, the room was smaller than I thought but was designed aesthetically. It was extremely clean, as each floor has a designated maid to clean the rooms every day. My father had introduced himself to her as we were staying for eight days, she was a lovely person that would hold conversations with us. Most of my garments require ironing, the room had no iron therefore every single day I would contact the reception to send me a iron which they would instantly bring. The hotel has two owners, whilst I was getting ready in my room my father would wait in the lobby for me. The lobby was spacious and had a lounge area, the owners would accompany my dad and order tea for him. We built this relationship with them and the employees within the hotel. As I was in Türkiye for non-leisure reasons, I didn’t have time to experience the pool and spa.

The breakfast had a wide range of food, however I felt like every morning I was waking up to the same food. I wish there was a change of food and more variety of helva etc.. The terrace has a spectacular view, I wish that they were open during the evening/late night as I would love to watch Istanbul with a cup of tea.

I recently had a delightful stay at Dundar Hotel, perfectly located just a 10-minute drive away from iconic attractions like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and a mere 5-minute walk to the Grand Bazaar. The hotel boasts an impressive spa section featuring a sauna, steam room, swimming pool, Turkish bath (Hammam), and professional massage services. One of the highlights was the fantastic breakfast experience, offering a diverse buffet with a wide array of breakfast items to choose from. The staff at Dundar Hotel are efficient, incredibly friendly and welcoming, enhancing the overall guest experience. I must extend my gratitude to Idrees at the reception, who went above and beyond in assisting me. When my wife's phone went missing in an Uber, I had notified the hotel and Idrees took swift action. He called and efficiently translated the situation, ensuring the safe return of my lost phone. A sincere thank you to Idrees for his exceptional service, making our stay even more memorable.

Possibly if all rooms have a kettle.

As a traveller, the location was great, a tram away from SultanAhmet which houses most of the famous tourist attractions. It was also close to all the relevant transport, and plenty of food options available. Sauna and steam room were amazing.

Breakfast could do with better options. It was a bit dry and too much salad. Swimming pool was pretty small, not much room for swimming. Taxi drivers had difficulty arriving at the location, some didn't know how to get there due to the confusing roads and we had to walk a few extra minutes.

suna steam and swimming had strict timings to be used despite saying it was free when booking, it was only free during day time between 10 and 6. and swimming pool was cold and small. sink was broken.

Very good location. The stuff was super nice, helpful even with my bad knowledge of the language.

The toilet is a bit smelling, and the breakfast is the same every day. The room was smaller than expected.

Room keeping done daily without request new towels & beds made, Good location tram stops outside the hotel easy access to anywhere in istanbul metro 5 mins walk, breakfast good difrent variety daily

Swimming pool/sauna very small can only use during the day when your most likely exploring the city charged to use after 6pm, apart from that all good

The location is great, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was decent and had a good selection. The room was a decent size. There's a pool sauna and dry room.

There's only one small lift so it can take a bit of time to get to the floor you want to get to. The beds are a bit firm but that's a personal preference

Location is great, 7 minutes walk to the Great Bazar, 15 minutes walk to the main mosques. the spa is very pleasant, water temperature very good. Breakfast is ok, you have where to chose from.

Have no complains.

Staff were very nice and location very good. it is near Kapali Çarsi,tram station (Beyazit)and metro station(Vezneciler),and you can go to other important and interesting places around Istanbul very easy from here.For example you can walk to Sultanahmet Mosque and Suleymaniye mosque in 10 minutes

I didnt like the bed,it wasnt a full bed as we asked but 2 small beds attached and was not comfortable
