We are staying in near building, but it would be more convenient for us, because house has only stairs, and we were located on lower floor. The room is big and equipped with small kitchenette with fridge, stove and microwave oven. You need to take with you a shampoo and shower gel, because in bathroom you will find a liquid soap. Room is also equipped with air conditioner. Breakfast is simple but good. From roof terrace you could enjoy views to Bosporus and Blue Mosque. Recep (host) is very hospitable, and solved any questions which I had. Also he recommend restaurant right the corner, where was very good fish and meat.

I don't see any serious problem, but could mention two things, that you could take into account. The hotel is rounded by lots of restaurants, and from one side you will find a lots of places to eat. From other side, till midnight you will hear music, until you close window. As for me, Emergency Exit plate in room is to bright at night, but I cover it with towel.

It was a nice and a cosy place to stay for the 3 days that we were there. Various historic places can be visited from the accommodation within 15 to 20mins of walking distances. The host was very friendly and ready to help when possible.

The breakfast was the same over the 3 days that were there , some sort of a variety would have been great. The platter included tomato and cucumber slices , 1 piece of salami cut into 2 pieces , and an assortment of cheese slices with bread and butter. The Sea view room we stayed in was at the very top with the last flight of stairs made of iron and slightly narrower then the rest of the stairs. These last set of iron stairs were quite steep to climb , not recommended for elderly who could possibly struggle to climb them.

The host was really nice and helpful. The location in the old town is great. They even drove out car to get us out of the small streets.

The area was nice. A lot going on outside but rooms were well soundproofed. The staff were lovely and always around to help. Food places quite close by. Walk up a hill to the trams was brilliant. Might not be for some! We enjoyed it as we enjoy walking.

We got there and stayed in one room one night then were moved to another due to availability or room not ready. This meant we couldn't really unpack much as we had to move again the next day. Also, no water was provided in the room. So for people who are checking in late and are too tired to go out to buy stuff, best make sure you already picked some drinks up on the way to the hotel. This is not a complaint, just something to improve on 😊

We had a wonderful stay at the Two-Bedroom Apartment. The location is fantastic, conveniently close to all major sites, making it easy to explore the area. The apartment itself was really nice—spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. What truly made our stay exceptional was the host, Recep. He was always available and went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. He handled all of our taxi journeys, ensuring we could get wherever we needed to go without any hassle. Even currency conversion was never an issue for him (can pay him in any currency) - he made everything seamless. The staircase in the building is narrow, but Recep personally took care of our luggage, carrying it up and down with ease. His strong connections with local businesses were also a huge advantage, as everyone in the area knows him and was happy to assist us whenever we needed something. Despite being in a central location, I had no issues with nighttime noise outside—it was surprisingly quiet. For the price, this place is excellent value. The breakfast, although simple, was delivered straight to our door each morning, which added a nice touch of convenience. Considering the affordability and all the extra help from Recep, this stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great location, comfort, and an attentive host!

Great location. It is located in the former Armenian quarter, lots of restaurants on the streets nearby. Very lively, with life music, which is a great plus. The main attractions of Sultanahmet are reachable by 10-15 min walks. Although the stairs might be steep for some, there was a great common terrace atop the building. Nice for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. View of the rooftops of Istanbul and the glimpse of the Bosporus. Our highlight was a view at the nearby Orthodox church. Breakfast was simple but very good and just enough for our needs. We made use of the kitchenette, preparing couple of single meals when we didn't fancy going out. Our host, Recep, was super friendly, helpful and accommodating (late night check-in, storing the luggage after check out). The standard is not a super fancy hotel, but a good and comfortable B&B - exactly what we were looking for at this price point. If you want a fancy hotel - go stay at the soulless Four Seasons.. We had a fantastic time.

The only thing is the cash payment - I have no problem with this but the info on their page says they accept both, which can lead to some hustling. The host was very responsive to our arrival and was ok with a payment in pound sterling, so it was not a trouble, we received a receipt of payment so at the end I was happy with how it was dealt with.

Absolutely perfect location near the historic part of Istanbul and within minutes of Hagia Sophia and many other sites. Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Recep is a wonderful host and very accommodating. He was very responsive and offered his assistance, including very good dining recommendations. This hotel is a great value if you are looking to maintain a budget while you travel.

Very noisy street below with loud music until midnight. Not a problem if you go to bed late but might be challenging for families. Also it may not be clear from booking.com but remember to have cash available to pay for your stay.

We arrived the hotel at almost 10:30 in the night. Recep and his assistant greet us on the street and help us take all our luggage inside. The room was nicely clean and tidy. Room service was absolutely good. Breakfast was nice and tasty. The property was centred in the the heart, everything like food, attractions, shopping centre was easily accessible. Taxi or other public transport can be easily found around. The day we were leaving Recep was there in the morning at 6:00am to see us off. overall the experience was fab. all the staff member was really sweet and helpful but Recep was totally exceptional, always keeps on checking with us that everything is going good. Will definitely recommend and will also stay there again in future.

Great location: near water view, you can see a cathedral from your room ( if its on the right side) and from a terrace. 20 minutes walking from the old town. Multiple good cafes less than minute of walking. Nearby train and bus stops. Roof terrace is great: gives you good vibes and cosy experience for night Istanbul vibes, where you can hear distant live music and street vibes. Terrace is available 9 am - 11 PM for all tenants on the roof. Great and friendly staff with positive attitude, who was available even at 1 AM to fix our internet issues in the middle of the night. We booked our taxi to airport from them, and everything was on time. Cleaning trash every day around 2-3PM, changing sheets on demand is also great. Simple, but good solid breakfast delivered every morning to our room at 10 AM (you can see it on photos) : bread, eggs, sliced cheese and sausage, sliced vegetables, butter, and tea. There is a small safe for your documents and important stuff in the room. Even small laptop can fit there Just in case: there is no common areas like lobby, except the roof terrace. Roof terrace was almost always empty at evening, so we got the best seats and views

Very minor things, not critical at all, just what can be improved: - a couple of times small Internet issues (that was fixed instantly, even at the middle of the night) - a little more horizontal surfaces would be convenient to have (like shoe shelves and etc) - please put a few more hangers. Ladies need a lot, its never enough for them =)))
