The staff were very friendly and always looking to help. I should note as an American English speaker that most of the hotel staff spoke little or no English. We used Google Translate almost exclusively. This is not a problem for me and I don't consider it a negative in any way but other non-Turkish speakers should be aware of this if you are not comfortable with that.

The wifi was wildly inconsistent. Due to the nature of the building and materials it was always going to be a problem and there were at least three networks available to log into depending where on the property one was but what I did find a little frustrating was that sometimes one of the networks had strong stable connections and at others it was almost impossible to connect. (I'm specifically referring to connecting to their wifi as opposed to speeds one connected. Once/if connected speeds were good only the ability to connect to their various SSID's were problematic.)

I stayed here when the earthquake happen. Luckily nothing is happened to the property. The room is nice. This building is the old structure and it’s very beautiful and it have very nice terrace that can oversee the Mardin old town but it have no lift. The staff are very kind hearted. I gave them 200% for the hospitality. The weather when I came is quite worst, so it’s hard to go out. But they invited me for dinner and it’s very tasty. I offered to pay, but they rejected it. I recommend this hotel if u looking for great staffs, beautiful hotel and great scenery from the terrace.

This hotel is AMAZING. I originally booked 1 night but stayed 3. Absolutely wonderful staff, so kind. Huge, delicious breakfast with incredible view. Walking distance to everywhere, but not directly on the main road so the nights are quiet and you will sleep well. Very comfortable and cozy rooms with great heating system. Laundry service. Good WiFi in restaurant and on terrace, not so much in room. Heads up - no hot water but cold showers are better for you anyway!

Contrary to a few previous reviews there were no problems with hot water at all - immediately available, always. Our room had windows, but some rooms don't. The room was clean, equipped with stylish furniture, small but perfectly convenient bathroom. AC heating and ventilation worked well. The hotel is new and well kept, located in a historical building in the old town centre, but slightly away from it's overcommercialised main street.

This is an amazing place to stay in the old city of Mardin. I re ally recommend it and would definitely stay there in the future again. The staff is really friendly, the place is historic, clean and in a very nice location with great view. Coffee space really cosy with traditional decoration and staff always there to offer tea, coffee and their advice. Really local atmosphere!

The view from the terrace is more than spectacular - this was the highlight of our stay. The rooms are comfortable and the temperature inside is pleasantly cool even without the AC (in the summer). Breakfast was tasty and there was a lot of food to eat.

It would be great if coffee was available for breakfast. Tea is great but coffee helps you get up in the morning :-)

The hotel is clean and have a beautifull viewpoint on a balcony. The aircondition worked. The staff were nice. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city. The price is good.

The breakfast was ok but nothing special. The hotel is 30 minutes away from the main bus station.

Kvantahne in the morning the ladies selected little tasty of Turkish foods ..very good out door seats benches and tables also fabulous views..to beg believe in your eyes..comfy room too...BURACK tesekkurler to you and your wonderful polite staff

Breakfast was awesome. WiFi was strong, there was hot water, personnel was very kind and helpful. The view was great. The location was very good.

Awesome location and view. A clean and comfortable room with working air-conditioning. Breakfast was good as well. Friendly women who helped us with all our needs.
