Great location, room (had a kitchenette) + good continental breakfast. Awesome staff! BUT when taking the shuttle bus from LAX, be sure to take the Residence Inn shuttle, not the regular Marriot, it cost us $17 to Uber 1/4 block to the Residence!

Marriott hotel (1/4 block away, we now know) did not know where the Marriott Residence Inn was (costing Us a $17 Uber ride - also shame on Uber).

There are a lots of positives like: - Very courteous and prompt staff - Super spacious rooms - Decent Breakfast - Kitchenette is in the room is very useful Also some useful tips for future travellers: - There would be an incidental hold of 250 USD on your card which would be released after you check out (for credit card - it may take 5 days, for debit card - it could be up to 10 days) - Parking would be 54 USD + Tax per day which would be deducted from the incidental hold of 250 USD taken on your card. Parking is very convenient (you will have to tap the room key at the entrance and exit of the parking lot) - For smokers: Outside the hotel, you have smoking areas (front entrance and the rear entrance) - Do not expect any doctors in the vicinity, a couple of clinics but they are useless. They will entertain only work related injuries. For any medical support, you can rely on CVS (a medical store) which could be really helpful.

We were greeted with kind staff at the front desk, who made it a point to remember our names and greeted us by name throughout our stay. Rooms were so spacious and loved having the ability to comfortably unwind after a very long journey.

There was no Bell service at all, which would have been helpful with 7 large suitcases and 6 carry-on bags. We had to make multiple trips to the room with a small cart that they offered. Additionally, the shuttle driver from the airport to the hotel wouldn't (said he couldn't due to a hernia) help with our bags. Traveling as a solo parent with 3 kids and 13 bags total was hard enough, but having to carry them on to the shuttle one by one by myself while other passengers were waiting was really frustrating and hard to do. Just wish we had had some extra help with all of those bags from start to finish.

The room was super spacious, clean, comfortable and really well equipped. The bed was really comfortable, we slept really well. Staff was kind and accommodating, even though we got in around 3am due to a delayed flight. After issue after issue at LAX, we were so relieved that the staff at the Residence Inn were so kind and helpful, despite there being a bit of an issue with our Booking reservation. The breakfast was fine, the coffee was nothing to write home about but the selection of food was quite varied. There's a free shuttle that goes to LAX every 30 minutes, which was very helpful.

For some reason, breakfast was served on disposable plates, with disposable plastic forks and knives which are all thrown out after eating. It seems incredibly wasteful.

Very conveniently located only a few minutes shuttle ride from the Airport, this hotel had very friendly staff, quiet and spacious rooms and pleasant breakfast in the morning. Be careful not to confuse the shuttle for the Residence Inn by Marriott with the one for the Renaissance by Marriott -a different hotel entirely. When your brain is a bit addled after a 15 hour flight, it can be easy to do! The correct ones are orange as of July 2024. There was a range of different things on offer from the breakfast buffet, and everything we tried was both fresh and tasty. Even the coffee was nice. It wasn't the horrible bitter stewed stuff that Americans seem to love. It was on par with Nescafe Blend 43 instant. Not fantastic, but certainly drinkable. I don't know if the coffee culture is improving in the States, or maybe just LA, or perhaps we just struck it lucky. A special mention to the staff: We travelled during the legendary IT Glitch of '24. The staff coped very well and with great humour despite having no working computers. And really made us feel welcome. And if you like airplanes, the view overlooking the runways is brilliant!

Being situated at the airport, there's not a huge range of dinner options available. There is a Jersey Mike's co-located with the hotel, which may look like a slightly-more-American Subway, but beware: The prices are steep. My son and I had dinner there: A sub and a drink each came to a whopping $64 Australian (more than twice what the same meal would have cost in Sydney) As for the hotel room itself: The colour scheme was a bit dated (but it didn't worry us) and the bathroom sink plug was jammed in the open position. Again not a huge problem. Everything else was fine.

all was pretty good, room was excellent with good facilities and very clean. Check in was good and had some fun with the staff. Staff hepful generally. Pool area pretty good too. A good end to our holiday, we'd stay again.

Breakfast was a little limited. and, being Eurpean, we were shocked (as always) at the amount of plastic waste produced by plastic cutlery, straws and packaging from disposable items, all of which we sorted in the UK years ago. Facilities, such as Starbucks, closed very early & nowhere to get food on site which was frustarting, especially as there are no shops in walking distance - weird to be at a quality hotel and hungry after 5pm! Starbucks also closed during the day at neighbouring Marriott hotel, so getting even a snack proved difficult. This was the only real issue.

Our room was quiet and cozy, very clean and perfect for our one night stay. The AC and heater are both excellent when needed! We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly return. We liked the food, but would love it if there were more vegan options

Facilities are a little dated. It took a while for the water in the shower to get hot. It also took a moment to find USB outlets to charge our phones.
