This is the best option for Hermossa Beach if you don’t want to spend silly money on beach front. We love it. Have stayed many times. But…..

They have introduced a parking charge!! In a car park I’ve never seen more than a handful of cars full, they’ve started charging. Honestly, charging guests to stay and then charging guests to park is robbery in any hotel I think. But come on quality inn. We’re not in central Manhattan fighting for expensive spaces. The quality inn has certain values we love, such as a good price for a good stay. But this is a premium service that just feels like an insult. Please re think. It’s going to affect your deservedly good ratings.

The room was very spacious for 4 people and quiet at night. The bedsheets were very soft and the bed was super comfortable. It was also equipped with an hairdryer and a safe and there was a nice view from the balcony. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with variety of muffins, bagels, waffles, eggs and sausages and yogurt.

At the time we visited the elevator was not working so we had to use steps. I wish there was a microwave in the breakfast area to warn my muffin. There was no shower gel in the shower, just shampoo and conditioner.

everything was well, the only huge complaint i have about the specific room that I stayed in is as follows. make sure you let people that rent this room know that you have allowed cats to be inside room. i have a terrible cat allergy, even if cat is not in room my body can still pick up or sense the dander left behind by those animals. make sure to extra sanitize your rooms before passing it on to the next patron. my allergies are so bad that I end up in hospital sometimes, lets say your hotel got lucky i could control my allergy and that i mostly used room to sleep at night during stay. i might stay here again, but dont really guarantee that, i am an animal lover. i just cannot be around cats or an area where there is a cat. if your facility is animal friendly, that is good. just extra sanitize rooms. cat dander is disgusting. only a person allergic to cats will understand what i am saying.

Room was clean, staff was accommodating when a request was made. The location was great, and very close to Hermosa beach pier. Our room had a little balcony where we could see the ocean from - that was an added bonus. The breakfast attendant was great and made sure things were always cleaned up and ready for the next guest.

The breakfast was very simple. Mostly cold foods - except for toast and make your own waffles.

The location is amazing as Hermosa Beach is walking distance and even if our room was on the side of the street, it was really quiet and relaxing. It was spacious and had an area that allowed us to work for a day (on Friday) and the wi-fi connection was good. Breakfast was okay and there was the option to sit inside or on a nice terrace. Fitness room very small but with several dumbbells, exercise bike and treadmill.

It would be great if breakfast could offer at least a non-diary option for milk or yogurt (I was fine with tea or coffee, but it would be awesome to start seeing these kind of options more and more) and instead of single-use utensils/cups, reausable ones :)

Parking was good - plenty of spaces Location was great - loved that we could walk to nearby stores and eat at Ocean Diner Really close to the venue we were headed to for the weekend Staff was great and friendly

The first room we had - with the jacuzzi tub - had an unpleasant odor We got moved to a different room - to 2 beds because we requested 2 beds for our reservation but had a miscommunication about it We didn’t have breakfast just coffee cause we wanted to dine out next door at the diner

the awesome staff. everyone there is kind, patient, helpful, wonderfully communicative, and lovely. the large outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi area was just fine. for the price and location, it’s a great value on a more upper motel style Inn. I knew what kind of property it was- the open air hallways and stairwells so I found the general upkeep of that kind of property great. Really it was all the workers there that made the space homey and we felt very welcomed and that was great,

look, it’s clearly an older property and could use some overall attention to some details, but I saw and chatted with the hardworking staff who were keeping up with guest upkeep. If the franchise wants to throw some money to hire more staff for an overhaul of details: like the exercise room not working with equipment falling apart or maybe make the outdoor jacuzzi area updated with a proper towel station. that would be something but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us. I do see that a deeper clean can be used on some of the bathrooms. I don’t know, I honestly was great with our stay and really appreciated the care and attention of the excellent folks you have working there :)

Very spacious and clean room. Extremely comfortable bed. Comfortable bathroom with a large countertop. Nice TV, and additional sofa. In general really nice room. Hotel service was polite. Big parking is a big adventage of this hotel. Also localisation was great, very close to the beach and restaurants in safe neighborhood.

Breakfast very poor... Only packed sweets (muffins, cynamon rolls), very artyficial yogurt and oatmeal available. A big puddle on the balcony, because it is leaking from the air conditioning.

The Front desk agents were very friendly and helpful. Also were both very kind and engaging in asking all the right questions upon check in. Made you feel like your at your 2nd home.

Musty smell in the room. I'm sure it's because of the mildew in the room from the wet carpet by the jacuzzi tub. Or ceiling area by the shower.

Excellent location near the library, Trader Joes and Ocean Diner. the staff were REALLY nice and accommodating.

the room was musty. the screens were broken on the outer windows. the couch probably needs to be replaced and the carpet needs a deep clean. the jets in the suite bath didn't work.
