The rooms were clean and the location for my needs was perfect. The breakfast bar was good. Loved the little snack bar by the check in counter! The air conditioner worked great! The lady doing the checkout was friendly. The mini fridge worked well. The water pressure in the room was good. Plenty of towels and hand towels to use. There is a little coffee station provided.

It was awkward silence when I was checking in - it was a late check in but still felt very Awkward as the check-in clerk silently looked for our reservation. No conversation - not even something as simple as a hello or welcome to... or let look for your reservation, how was your travel - it was just silent. There was a small conversation to let me know where our room was and that was it. We were not a fan of the singular door for the closet and the bathroom - it was very inconvenient. The pool water needed to be cleaned, refreshened.

Once we found it, the location was PERFECT as it sat off the main HWY so NO noise. We found the reception. staff very delightful and engaging; asking if we needed anything each time we entered. The breakfast was a perfect blend of carbs and protein.

As MOST women like a separate towel for their hair after showering, a 3rd towel would have been nice right away. I did ask, and the receptionist was VERY HELPFUL in that she made note that another towel would be added. We reuse our towels as we are energy savers, so it might be that we should have checked linens immediately.

The facility has a nice aesthetic. The lobby is a beautiful and the rooms are zen. With quiet surroundings, this location was a great find for the rest and relaxation my family needed. The staff was just top notch! They were communicative and spot on. The staff were both knowledgeable and jolly. It really was a treat. After our three days, the staff became like good neighbors that made ya breakfast 🤩🤩🤩 Salt water pool!!!! That was a hidden gem 💎

The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly. I am surprised this place doesn't have more stars. I didn't swim but i did go check it out and it looked clean. There was a handicap accessible equipment to enter the pool we went for continental breakfast the next morning and it served till 10:00 we didn't make it down there till about 9:30 and they were still bringing fresh food out at that time lots of options good will definitely stay there again.

I am weird about mattresses. The mattress was a little too hard for me but everyone's preferences are different.

Breakfast was wonderful! Loved the choices! Location of the hotel was great & staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was the cleanest that I've ever experienced in a hotel, as well as the overall hotel experience! I will definitely book with them again!

My only complaint and it is VERY minor, is that the pool was not very warm. Other than that, everything was exceptional!

The hotel is Beautiful! We stayed in a king suite & they was able to accommodate my requests. Due to health issues I asked to be ground level, or if on the floor near a elevator since stairs are Very hard for me. Our suite was Huge! we’ve stayed at a Lot of hotels in different areas & even different Hamptons…& this property is our Favorite! it’s right by multiple restaurants, stores like Meijer, Menards, etc & is just a few min from Bay City State Park & Beach. They have a pretty big indoor pool & it is heated, if I’m honest it was a little warm for me being that it is summer time, but my kid didn’t mind. & they have a lift chair for those who are unable to get in & out via the steps & I Love that they have that so everyone can be included! For their breakfast every morning it was good. They did have different options every day from a Waffel bar, cereal, yogurt, fruit, muffins & bagels; so it was a decently nice spread. But their hot choices was Always eggs, cut potatoes & sausage, & it was good don’t get me wrong! but it would of been nice to maybe have a another style of potatoes & maybe some bacon or ham? But they still had a Lovely breakfast every day, which we ate at every day of our stay & we are Thankful for! The staff was very nice & knowledgeable of the area. We asked for recommendations on areas we should see that the locals love, different restaurants they liked & such & every place they recommended was Wonderful! We did have a situation arise that was at NO fault of the hotel or staff, & even though it was NOT their fault they was Very apologetic & since we had to extend our stay another night they gave us a deal on the room & even gave us a discount on our bill which was not expected at all & we are Very grateful by their kindness! Seriously…if y’all are reading this..Thank You!! When we come back to the area the Hampton in Bay City will Always be our Hotel!

Honestly the only thing I didn’t like was there was no bacon for breakfast & the pool was a little too warm lol & those are hardly complaints! Oh & it’s not just this hotel, but any hotel that does Not have cameras outside really needs to invest! They are NOT that expensive & can Protect your guests & their property; & give your guests peace of mind!

Really loved all the space in the king room; we brought our dog, so it's always appreciated to have lots of floor space. Big bathroom and comfortable bed.

This is a small thing, but the bed springs were pretty noisy; it didn't bother me too much, but my fiance is a light sleeper, so it was kind of tough for him to hear high-pitched squeaking when either of us moved.

I liked the fact that it was pet friendly even though I did not bring my pet. All the staff I encountered were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

The air conditioner was blowing up the drapery and so it was constant. There wasn't a TV directory in the room or a channel with directions on the programs available. It was difficult to get on the wifi.

I had to wipe the toilet seat in my room, it wasn't cleaned. Not enough towels at the pool. Water container at the gym was empty.
