Very nice hotel. The staff was very nice. The view of the Cape Fear was pretty. We arrived about an hour early but the hotel honored an early check-in for us. The room was nice and bed comfortable. The location is great and within walking distance to stores and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again.

I would recommend housekeeping provide enough towels for two. We only had one washcloth. Also, there was only one glass in the room. The front desk told us we would find complimentary water and cookies in the room. The water was there but someone must have been hungry because the cookies were nowhere to be seen.

We were in walking distance to shops and restaurant options. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were nice and helpful.

Nothing in particular thar we didn't like, just small details, mainly with housekeeping. When we arrived, the toilet paper roll was practically empty and we had to change it ourselves. No one came to tidy up our room in the morning, but we were too tired from having run the half marathon that we didn't bother calling for someone to come up. Since the room wasn't made up, we didn't have coffee for the next morning, but since we were checking out, we opted to go to a coffee shop.

Great location, Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities are great and the swimming pool was very welcome on the very hot days.

Towels needed to be refresh a little more often but it wasn't really a problem. There wasn't much to not like. The onsite coffee could have been better but it was fine.

The p.m. was amazing at correcting a reservation error and made sure I received the river view room I’d requested. And the restaurant staff was amazing! Even with being understaffed one evening, the single server and manager did a phenomenal job handling the crowd with professionalism and smiles on their faces. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel.

The only thing I didn’t like was having no room service for clean towels even after I requested that at checkin.

Beautiful view from my room. River front made a wonderful walk with benches along the way. The staff were ready to help with anything.

Wish there was shaded seating facing the water to enjoy the great coffee. Also nice restaurants within walking distance, but not any little shops along the water.

The view from our room was absolutely beautiful. Have the North Carolina battleship and river view to stare at in the morning was amazing. The pool area was nice and relaxing as well. We also loved that we were right within walk-in distance of all the down town shops and restaurants.

The line to checkin was extremely long when we arrived exactly at our checkin time at 4 but that was the only negative thing I can think of.

The options provided for breakfast were delicious! Love that you can create your own omelette. The location was perfect with wonderful views over the river.

When we got there to check in, our room was not ready. We had to wait in the lobby almost 2 hours for a room to be ready. They did give us a voucher for a free breakfast but, waiting two hours for a room probably should’ve received more than that.

We were in a corner suite. I didn’t realize I had booked wheelchair access however it was absolutely what I need because I always feel suffocated when our room is tight. My kids room was so much smaller however they don’t mind so they were the perfect rooms for what we all needed! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. My sister works on that road right in front of river walk giving horse rides. Her name is Lori Bufkin and we never get to see her bc I live far away. It was so cool to see her right by our hotel working where we had the ability to visit her so close.

I like when I wake up and there is a nice selection of food and typically we do Marriott suites whom give us free breakfast. I have a butt load of kids and grandkids so it’s nice to have them happy having breakfast while we sleep in. They came pounding on the door at 6am to get the credit card bc they had to pay for breakfast. That was a little annoying however it was not a deal breaker for me. I know the cost of food and I understand that extra cost burden may impact the other services you are able to provide which I loved it all so I just know to give them a card at night and to perhaps the keys so they can go get breakfast somewhere. Whatever they do if I get to sleep late I don’t care lol.

Had a King size room with a spectacular river/pool view. Bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the location of the hotel. Very convenient and walkable to the downtown area. A lot of excellent restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great outdoor sitting area to enjoy the sunsets over the river.

Visited coffee shop location in lobby three times during the morning to get coffee, but coffee barista was gone each time with note on the register they would be back soon. Missed having my morning coffee. Other hotel guests ended up getting food items and letting front desk know what they took.

location and view from property great. walking distance to the old historic town of Wilmington - quaint and beautiful. also upgrading the walkways and park one street up from the ‘front’ street - it will look absolutely stunning when finished. Great eateries, NY Pizza (delish) and a few others where your tired leggs can recouperate a while we will definitely Visit Walk the wooden walk way from the pier and visit the Battleship - quite remarkable. Also has the western seaside, marina, beaches and restaurants - you will enjoy!
