The lobby was very modern and nicely appointed. The staff greeted me daily in a friendly manner. The room had a comfortable sitting area, large bathroom and comfortable bed. The hotel is within walking distance of the Dupont Circle Metro and Farragut North Metro. It is also near plenty of restaurants. I did not dine at the restaurant in the hotel, but every time I walked through the lobby it was packed.

The AC/heating unit was very loud. It woke me out of my sleep so much so that at night I would turn it off. The unit also looked like it could use a filter and a little more upkeep. The thing that surprised me was that housekeeping showed up later in the afternoon, after 4:30 & 5pm. Not sure if this is the weekend routine, but it was a little disrupting after spending all day out and just wanting to get ready for dinner or figure out next steps. The interactions that I had with the women who took care of housekeeping were very nice and thoughtful.

Location was great, larger room than most for this price, good amenities: in room (mini fridge, balcony with a great view, steamer), water available in lobby, good size exercise room with good equipment and weights. Restauraunt on site was convenient. Lobby was very comfortable. Later checkout than usual (12PM). Vouchers appreciated.

Lighting in bathroom was poor - insufficient for makeup. Breakfast not very good value for money. (Vouchers used for drinks instead) Bed was too soft for my liking, otherwise room was quite nice.

I stayed at a sweet room of this hotel with a reasonable price for two nights, which gave my family awesome experience. The room is kind of a classical type, I think. It was quite clean and well arranged with much enough nice amenities. They serve fresh apple and cool lemon water at the front desk. I had breakfast with a voucher with my family, which was simple and freshly delicious to me, served in a bright environment of a restaurant. The staff was also so nice and supportive with big smile any time when I asked their favor of check in and out, luggage custody, and neighborhood information. It has nice restaurants, a bus station, and Metro station close to them or in a walk distance. The neighborhood is quite safe and peaceful, I felt.

It has the main attractions of Washington D.C., such as the White House, the Capitol Hill, Lincoln Memorial, and Smithsonian Museums, about 30 to 40-minute walk away and 10 to 15-minute ride by public transportation. This is not exactly the defect of the hotel, but just an informative consideration. It was a good exercise and another beautiful sightseeing during our walk in the nice spring.

Loved the location and closeness to everything. The restaurant attached to it is good. And the staff was quick and friendly.

The room was small and the only parking available nearby is valet which is $60 per day.

I received a $25 voucher for bar/breakfast and used it for breakfast. Breakfast is à la carte and wait staff is friendly. It maybe took a bit to get attention. If in a hurry it is better to get breakfast to go - the pastries are great. Great location with two drug stores (Walgreens and CVS that both have snacks, water and travel necessities) nearby. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the next metro, which is OK too. My room was big with quite a spacious bathroom and room service was offered everyday for my 2-night stay which is expected for a $200-plus/night hotel. I recently learned that some hotels don't offer that anymore "due to the short duration of the stay"... which is wild! Glad this hotel still does offer it.

The hotel offered premium WiFi for streaming and video calls. I was not aware of that and unfortunate as I needed to make video calls for work. However, and that's a BIG PLUS, regular WiFi worked fine for video calls.

The inside of the hotel is very modern, stylish. The rooms were nice, bed was comfortable. Pillows were okay but isn't that all hotel pillows? I had an okay view of the adjacent buildings pool. The staff were very helpful. I like when the staff go above and beyond. It's a great location. For public transportation, it's about half a mile away from the nearest metro, and DC has awesome metro, but it's all a downhill walk. Close to all of DuPont circle and what it offers.

The AC was fairly loud when turning on and off. Sounded like a spaceship. It's an older AC that's on the wall. But it kept the room super cool.

I had the best time staying at The St Gregory Hotel. The location is perfect - it was walkable to see the White House and other locations and there's an amazing breakfast spot nearby. The staff elevated this experience from great to exceptional they are just so helpful, welcoming and attentive. I had an issue with my booking (Booking.com had deleted the wrong reservation so the hotel had me staying 3 nights instead of 4) and this was resolved without fuss by the time I returned to the hotel after spending the day out. I will definitely be returning.

A tiny thing - the rooms could do with an update, in terms of some of the finishing touches (scuffs on furniture, old ac unit) but this did not in anyway dampen my stay. It was all very clean and comfortable and I had no issues sleeping.

The staff were lovely, super friendly and personable. I had requested a quiet room and they made sure to put me in a high room away from foot traffic, and it was clear that some thought had gone into the request. The "resort fee" was a surprise and a bit steep (I find it strange that non-resorts now charge resort fees, I don't actually need Wifi, or free water, etc) but was nicely offset by the $25 dining credit they allot. Used it to have breakfast, which was fine.

The room smelled like it had been smoked it then sprayed with febreeze, which gave me a bit of a migraine. On the plus side, you could open the windows, so was able to air it out - I wish that had been done prior to my stay. The bathroom was pretty dated and had a cheap plastic nozzle with very little water pressure. Overall, the hotel was a bit expensive for what it was.

I liked the vibe of this hotel. You walk in and there is a nice fireplace going morning and evening. There is an interesting lobby with a cute sunny Parisian style cafe on the left with a nice breakfast in the morning. Refreshing Water with orange and lime in the lobby most of the time. Lobby has 2 levels with nice decor. Rooms were nice, big and comfortable. There were 2 comfortable beds in our room, wonderful Occitane soap, shampoo and creams in the bathroom a nice touch. Hotel is in a great location too. Shops, restaurants, parking and metro nearby. Georgetown pretty close as well. Highly recommended.

One issue was the heating system was a bit outdated and noisy but otherwise a great place to stay!

Good location, modern and appealing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good layout of the room, had a sofa/seating area away from bed. Incredibly comfortably bed!

VERY thin walls, no soundproofing at all as we could hear everything from our neighbours. A large group leaving on our first morning there woke us up with the noise from the corridors, even when they spoke at regular volume. Talking inside the rooms at normal volume was still heard while inside or outside the rooms. Google Chromecast didn’t work for us either.
