Great for a group get together.

2nd yr in a row we have been so obviously liked it to rebook, but this year the staff, although very attentive and nice were just very disorganised. We had pre ordered food as there was a large group of us, but still kept getting the order wrong. Bringing out food we hadn’t ordered. In the bar, lots of mistakes over the drinks and items on our receipt not ordered. And at breakfast we asked for 4 poached eggs and after a longish wait, 10 came! As said, staff were lovely and everything was sorted but it just felt very disorganised. I have a feeling the manager/s have changed since this time last year.

Breakfast is outstanding, it's not cheap but it is excellent value. The hot breakfast food was consistently refreshed, always hot and not greasy at all. Rooms are spacious and high quality. Staff are always incredibly accommodating and helpful. On our most recent stay, I phoned reception to report another guest having an unsavoury phone argument late at night and expressed how this made us feel uncomfortable. Steve on reception immediately dealt with the issue and offered a room change/upgrade on another floor to distance us from the other guest. We were satisfied with the issue being dealt with, the offer of a room change was a really nice touch.

the food, absolutely terrible. So expensive and so bad. the dinner was really terrible for my taste and needs. the breakfast in the morning....ohhhh so disgusting. Why dont have natural organic food ? why dont have Indian Food option ( have so many indian people in the staff ... ) Also the location is in the middle of nothing. The gardens could be more attractive.... have space for it . And why no have a small shopping for we buy some fruits, biscuits, sandwiches, milk ... I need some fruits and my son need go far to buy somes ... The sauna need have a better door to stay warm and please less cloro in the swimming pool Why dont use oxone to clean the water Much better and natural.

The facilities were great and very clean. The room was small but comfortable. The amenities were very thoughtful. The decor and smell and style of the whole place was amazing. It was genuinely luxury vibes without the price tag!

The room was very small, despite booking a delux king room. The staff were helpful but no one smiled! Apart from the lady at reception that checked us in, not one other person ever smiled. We stayed for 3 days and had to keep asking for toilet paper and towels and were met with hostility when we did. It has been three days after our trip and our £150 deposit still has not been released and every time i call no-one answers and i’m hung up on.

We thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic breakfast and the delicious supper. What we appreciated the most was the hotel’s excellent room service. The sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and swimming pool were all wonderful and added to our experience.

One thing we didn’t like was that on our first day, the room was very cold. We reported this issue, and the staff provided us with a mobile heater. However, it wasn’t sufficient to warm the room, leaving us feeling quite cold. The customer service team, including Ibrahim and his colleagues, promptly took action. On the second day, they moved us to a different room that was much warmer and more comfortable, which we truly appreciated. One more thing I would like to mention is that Espa, one of the staff members at the reception, was not polite or friendly enough. This left us disappointed, and as a result, we decided to forgo using that service.

An impressive facility, the pool jacuzzi sauna andsteam room were very welcome after a long international journey. I chose this hotel for its particular location but also to impress my mother in law; it certainly did that.

I would recommend eating out in the town. The evening restaurant was pleasant with good staff and a varied menu,unfortunately small portions and honkingly high bill left me still a little hungry and much lighter inthe wallet. Breakfast next morning was very good even if an expensive additional charge. I would prefer that hotels gave the actual cost of B&B instead of competing to be higher up the list of the travel apps.

We have just returned from a lovely stay here. We spent 2 nights here in Aug 2024. The staff are friendly and helpful. A couple of members went out of their way to engage with our young one, who's 4th birthday we celebrated. They made her feel special and she had a fantastic time. We all really enjoyed the pool over our stay. The room was comfortable and spacious. The bed was a great size. Room nice and quiet. Excellent size room. We would be very happy to stay again and would recommend this hotel to others. Thank you to all the staff who treated us so well and made us feel welcome. You have helped imbed a happy family memory.

The dinner we had in the restaurant wasn't great, not bad, just mediocre and a bit expensive. Breakfast was lovely though, smoked salmon was a nice touch. For consideration, perhaps provide fresh milk in a jug in mini fridge, instead of milk packets for teas and coffees. For taste and less plastic waste. Our daughter would like to request children's gowns and slippers be included too.

From the moment you enter the Crowne Plaza, it's very apparent that this is a hotel that lives upto it's name and reputation. Being a wheelchair user, it is very refreshing to have accessibility so well planned out throughout the hotel. I was genuinely very impressed. The staff were exceptional. Any time I needed any assistance, I was met with a level of customer service that exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was fantastic. It was a really great range of high-quality food and drinks in an accessible area that was very well laid out. I was particularly impressed with a member of staff called Dhruvi. She was very attentive and made a really good impression, demonstrating outstanding service and attention to detail with her exemplary hospitality. Thank you. The hotel room was perfect. Great size, brilliant air conditioning, very clean. Very comfortable bed. I really appreciated the complimentary mini bar. The shower was very good. We had an issue with the toilet flush, but in less than ten minutes of calling reception, they had someone come and fix the problem, who was very polite as well as prompt. The swimming area was very nicely laid out, we had some wonderful members of staff show us the accessible features. Again, very well thought out. Lovely staff that were on hand and made the experience very pleasant. In the breakfast area, they had live music played on Friday and Saturday evening. We didn't make it to see this, but we were well informed and made to feel welcomed to the events if we wanted to go. Overall, I've really enjoyed my stay. An absolutely brilliant hotel with wonderfully attentive staff. Very clean, fresh, and modern hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. Nothing! It's an outstanding hotel!

it was our first time at crowne plaza hotel my daughter and husband enjoyed it the pool sauna jacuzzi was amazing, our room were changed for a bigger one we loved it, breakfast was amazing we were served my dhurvi she made my daughter pancakes which she loved and showed us around breakfast and made us feel comfortable so happy hard working kind caring lady. we were meant to check out 11 am but we got extra time to check out which was amazing with no charges we loved our stay and hotel, i hope you do serve ice tea soon. hope to visit soon

we loved everything

The breakfast was great, the restaurant very nice. The children especially loved the swimming pool. Staff were very friendly, the kids enjoyed their welcome pack (one for dogs would have been nice too ;))

There was a lot of noise late at night with people walking past our room. There was a big gap between the door frame and door, so all the noise from the hallway was audible. Monday morning after breakfast I took the kids to the pool, got our towels, got in the water and 5min later we were told we had to leave as an aqua fitness class was about to start - there were no signs on the door or anywhere, the towel lady didn't inform us either. If we were told/had known earlier that morning, I would have taken the kids before breakfast. It was a shame as it wasn't a pleasant end to our stay.
