The staff are simply excellent and wondeful people. This is a war zone yet Ana, Dmitry and Nastia are truely wonderful and professional

It was beautiful, luxurious and comfortable. Friendly staff. Shelter was in the spa area so was super comfortable snd you could sleep easily and comfortably. I stayed during the cathedral attack so I did use shelter. And it was nice it was so comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. There’s nothing to dislike. I love everything about it.

The massage they organise for me wasn’t very strong. I wish if they can organise massage to your room that they can organise a Thai massage for you or make a booking of somewhere you can have ones it can be quite difficult to call and do so if you are only English speaking. Mind you, if I pressed they probably would have helped me. With transport back to Lviv their advice wasn’t very accurate and I ended up staying an extra nights. A guest who could speak English gave me advice. The desk told me s taxi was cheaper than s train and then the taxi didn’t turn up. Mind you they did find a taxi at a fairly reasonable price if you are stuck with booked trains. :)

The staff 10+ Owners wife and owner come to hotel daily. They make sure that all guests are happy . Victoria, Yulia,Sergei, Dasha … Ate the best service providers I ever met . Including all others . But , I’m terrible with names and I can’t remember all their names . I have been to Ukraine 31 times in ten years . Approximately 655 days . I’ve stayed at the California 74 days . All hotels I e stayed at were rated 5 stars . The California is the only one that deserves that 5 star rating . Everything is a reflection of leadership . So , The owner ( strong businessman) his wife ( OMG:) are amazing operators. Because, the staff is 10++++ .So, they ate amazing teacher trainers . All know English. If your coming from the states . I would advise you that this hotel be your only choice . This is a 300$ hotel per night in the states . . Any one coming in this also should also be your only choice .

That I Had to leave

Very comfortable administrators, delicious breakfast, a couple minutes from center, rooms and other area were clean and quiet.

The waitress was tired or so, she was like not in the mood. But other stuff was awesome people.

The staff is amicable and try their best to make you feel comfortable. I end up on the top floor, and I do not recommend that. The generator noise on the roof becomes annoying when in the silence of the night. Avoid 6 and 7th floors. I asked to move to a lower floor, and the staff was very prompt to assist me on that.

I canceled another facility to move to this hotel due to having a swimming pool and sauna. Ends the pool doesn't work, and the sauna is subjected to extra payment. At other facilities example, with would be honest to add a notification in the description warning the pool is not working, and the sauna is paid at other facilities example. The room is quite small but comfortable, so nothing to complain about as the price is fair enough.

Great style, interesting decor and mementoes of the great Californian Marylyn Monroe. Quality linen, Excellent breakfast, welcoming staff and good flexibility

Bathroom fittings were eccentric, the pop track played at breakfast and in public spaces was too loud and did not really fit the decor (18C string quartets would go better with the tricorn hat and hoop dress decolletage).

It’s perfect. Location, comfort, breakfast. Shelter is actually really comforting. Lovely balcony. Perfect location. Nice view.

That I didn’t stay longer this time

Room was nice and well equipped. Breakfast was good. Shelter was very good equipped. We didn't need it during our stay but it looked amazing. It was the former wellness area. So quite comfortable.
