Hotel went above and beyond, even before we stayed. They answered all my questions, put up banners as it was my partners birthday, were really accommodating for families and Allergies. The room was great size for a family and we had a view of the sea which was lovely. Great location very close to tram and for the airport which we required. The hotel was recommended to us and we would definitely recommend the hotel.

Only downsides were the pull out sofa bed for our eldest as it wasn't the comfiest and the parking wasn't the easiest but we found somewhere. Overall the negatives don't even come close to outweighing how lovely it was.

Out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the centre or piers but still seafront for the beach, and about 15 minutes walk to the South pier. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. The room and surrounding areas were clean, beds were comfy. WiFi was decent enough we were able to stream Netflix for the children on it. Great family entertainment at night and 24 hour pizza available for room service. We enjoyed the entertainment until 10ish with the children then ordered a pizza and took our drinks to the room so they could sleep. Once at our room, on the 2nd floor, we couldn't hear the entertainment, and it was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was buffet style with your standard English breakfast plus a choice of cereals and croissants, food was hot and tasty.

Good location. Very close to pleasure Beach and tram stop across from hotel.

We were put in a room right above the entertainment. With 2 young girls in the room we could hear all the singing and music which was very loud. Not a massive deal but worth noting if you have a family to ask for a room further away from the hall

The staff was really grat and the food was was really nice even cater for gluten free which was a bonus 😀 the only problemm was the lift as wen you get out you have to close the shutter inside and if you don't it stops the lift from working so unfortunately that happened in all the time there so my daughter ended up falling down the stairs as I was struggling with bags and a pram aswell as kids. Without needing a lift the hotel is perfect and yes I would recommend the hotel and I also will be returning

Ruby on Reception was so lovely! She was welcoming and had a big smile! The Carousel is good value for money!

There was a noisy fan/extractor outside bedroom window which would switch off and on through the night.

The welcome was very warm and friendly. The food in the restaurant was exceptional with great service. we had an evening meal and breakfast. It was really good value. The room was clean and functional, and more than met our needs. Shower was hot and powerful which was great. Tram stop just outside made exploring Blackpool easy and convenient. Evening entertainment was great for families. lovely bar with a great atmosphere. Kids loved the pool table. They let us check in early to my room which was much appreciated. There was also plenty of free parking outside on the road and round the back of hotel. will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. Thankyou carousel!

The room was a bit hot even with the windows open and couldn't seem to turn down the heat however I could have asked at reception, I am sure they would have helped, It wasnt too much of a problem. Our room was also directly above the entertainment which didn't go quiet until midnight, It didn't spoil our stay though as we were at the entertainment ourselves until 10.30.

I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Blackpool including the Big Blue, Sheraton, Imperial, Best Western, Premier Inn and the Doric and this is my favourite. Why? it's brilliant value for money, the rooms were exceptionally clean, food was great and the staff could not do enough for you. The lift to the rooms is a little quirky but that is what you get with an old building. It has a real homely feel and even though it's out of the way at the South Shore the tram stops right outside. If you want an evening meal the bar/restaurant serves great food. I decided to book and extra night and had to move rooms. Both of my rooms were to the same high standard. What's important to me is a great nights sleep, good breakfast and helpful staff and all at the fabulous price. This has it all.

We really enjoyed the Carousel the staff were very friendly. The twin room was spacious, clean and warm. The location was at the end of the South part of Blackpool, but it was very quick and easy to access all parts of the Blackpool front. There was a large tram stop opposite the hotel which really helped. We only had breakfast in the hotel which was varied, plentiful and self service. I would have preferred fresh fruit rather than tinned fruit which was of the " variety " kind. The hot food was quickly replenished when running out. There is a lift but it doesn't operate when the guests fail to close the metal gate............which was often, but we only had two flights of stairs to climb. We didn't eat in the evening or saw the entertainment provided.

All good.

Hotel was very clean staff nice breakfast was lovely. Gave us our room 1 hour early wich was very good of em. Rooms was a decent size I had the double room sea view my mum had the twin room that was massive but only had a very small. TV looked a bit lost.

Slightly out the way but I new this before I booked it trams could be a bit costly for 4 of us drink prices was a little on the dear side £7.00 for 2 cans of coke and a fruit shoot entertainment was a little naff not many people in ther on a night played bingo with the few people that was in. It is a family hotel but for me just didn't cater for kids so for that reason wouldn't return.
