Brilliant staff, couldn’t do enough for you! The lady who greeted us was lovely explained everything to us and let us check in early. We did not expect this and just needed to store the luggage before check in so a huge bonus. She explained everything and was lovely with the kids. The breakfast girls again exceptional - helpful and friendly. A cracking breakfast! : ) After check out we were allowed to store our cases so did not have to drag them around Blackpool. The room was big, very clean and just what we needed for our stay. Bed linen was spotless, lovely hot shower and flat screen TV. Staff should be proud they are all brilliant will be back next year and recommend to others!

That I couldn’t stay longer!

We stayed here for 4 days, and were met by the owner ( manageress? ) Shelly and she was so easygoing and friendly. The waitresses were so kind, and patient, especially with my breakfasts because I just couldn't finish them. So, each day they would ask me if I might prefer something else. They were exactly the same with all the guests, and nothing was too much for them. They are certainly an asset to the hotel, and we would definitely return.

There was nothing we didn't like. We didn't like the weather while we were there but that was out of their control lol.

If you like home to home then hopton is for you. Sylvia and her team are second to none nothing is too much trouble and always very pleasant and smiling. The hopton is a very cosy clean hotel with everything you need. We stayed for a week and was looked after extremely well often asked if we needed anything or if our rooms needed freshening up. Breakfast was an English Breakfast with choice of fruit yogurt and cereals with tea and coffee. Any changes isnt to much trouble for them they go above and beyond for you. Cannot recommend the hotel and staff enough. Thank you for a well needed week away at your hotel we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Remember come visit us in wales when you're down next!!

Absolutely nothing! Perfect hotel

Staff amazing - friendly and couldn't do enough Cleanliness - everything was super clean in our room and all around the hotel public spaces Breakfast - great made to order cooked breakfast - we only wanted scrambled eggs and toast 3rd day which they made for us - good selection of fruit and cereal as well as juice . Room - very clean, comfortable - dated furniture but all in good condition. Nice touch of tea/coffee and biscuits. Bathroom - clean but dated. Shower very hot but lower pressure. Plumbing very loud. Shower gel, hand soap and towels provided. Location - Excellent for us - were attending concert at Winter Gardens which was a 20min walk away, train station 25min walk, beach, shops, pubs and restaurants within 5mins walk. Felt safe and comfortable walking around.

Plumbing was loud, room was very bright even at night due to lighting in corridor.

Lovely friendly hotel, staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble. Rooms newly decorated, extremely clean, comfortable beds , beautiful fluffy white towels and crisp white bed linen. We were allocated a third floor room but on arrival the owner saw I was struggling with the stairs as I recently broke my ankle and it’s still uncomfortable, without any asking instead she gave us a first floor room with a double and a single bed. We paid for a twin but no extra charge for the upgrade. Breakfast was really good, unlimited cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, toast. Cooked breakfast was ordered a day in advance so there was no waiting. Bacon, sausage, egg, fried bread, mushrooms, beans and fresh or tinned tomato on offer. Breakfast staff were lovely, I was there with my 11 year old daughter and they couldn’t do enough for her, special Nutella pancakes were definitely her breakfast treat. Really well stocked bar and you could get a drink anytime, if there was no one there ring the bell and they soon came. All in all we had a great stay and are goi g back in October. Would highly recommend

The hotel was great, we had a lovely time. Met friends and as a family of 4 & 5 we were accommodated very well. Parking was close, the room was spacious and clean with tea and coffee too (mugs not tiny tea cups!) Beds were comfy and clean and the room was lovely and warm. Breakfast was brilliant, the lady looked after us and also my gluten free daughter, the food provided was lovely, hot and also served as a group. The bar area was spacious with a wide variety of drinks and again the staff were very accomodating to make sure we had what we needed.

Not a complaint at all, but if anything the car park flood lights and the ill fitting curtains meant the room was very bright right through the night.

The Hopton is really well situated and in walking distance to nearly all of the attractions. The room was very clean and well equipped. Lots of tea and coffee, lovely clean bathroom and also great to have a family suite with enough beds to accommodate a family of five. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff were absolutely fabulous. They could not do enough for us. We paid £5 for the overnight parking space on the carpark, which was well worth it. We only stayed one night, but had a great experience. We will definitely use the Hopton again when we return to Blackpool in the future.

Fantastic location for a visit to Blackpool, central to everything you would want to visit with excellent bus and tram connections very close by.Very friendly approachable, attentive caring staff interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible. On arrival we were told as there were spare rooms we had been given a room upgrade. The room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed, tea, coffee and included a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom was exceptionally clean with a walk in shower and plenty of room. At breakfast we chose the full English option which came with the choice of tea or coffee and was a very generous offering including extra toast if required(enough to fill you up for good while into the day). There were also cereals and fruit juice on offer to help yourself before the breakfast arrived. The Hotel has a bar and a nice communal area with a pool table television making for a warm family atmosphere

We stayed in room 5 with twin beds, me and my daughter had a brilliant stay, breakfast was lovely and the staff couldn’t be more helpful, paid £5 to park the car on there car park which was cheap and cheerful, we got told it was a donation to the trams which was nice. We can’t wait to come back and stay longer!

Only thing we missed was a mirror in the room not just the bath room , but as we was only there for the night we didn’t ask, but I’m 100% sure if we went down and mention it they would of sorted it out as it was that kind of place thst nothing was to much trouble .

Very good hosts, couldn't do enough to please. Breakfast was served in a lovely, clean dining room. Plenty to eat and always asked if we wanted more.The kitchen could be seen from the dining room and was very clean. The floor shone it was lovely to see where our food came from. The property was old but well maintained. Facilities are spotlessly clean. The cooked breakfast would benefit from being served on hot plates rather than cold but very good value for money. Would go back. Thank you to our hosts and staff.

The area around the hotel is very run down.
