From the moment we arrived to the day we left the staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we asked them regarding the local attractions and things to do was answered perfectly. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely view over the village and was very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable, The meal we had on the first night was very good and the staffs recommendations were spot on and therefore we had a very enjoyable meal at a reasonable price. We made our options for breakfast and handed them in to the staff and when we went down for breakfast everything we ordered was delivered on time and was very enjoyable.

We could not fault the hotel at all and will definitely stay there again when we visit the West Country again and have recommended both the hotel and restaurant to everyone we met in Cornwall and Somerset and will also recommend them to our family and friends as well.

Our room and en suite was far more spacious than we had expected. We were particularly impressed with the very large bed and shower cubicle. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all the facilities we needed, i.e. tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and fan. The staff were very friendly and the cooked breakfast was very good and matched what we had ordered the night before. Know some people don't like having to chose their breakfast the night before but we didn't mind that. The location was also perfect for our visit to the Bodmin & Wenford Railway.

It took a while for someone to see us to check in but in hindsight that could have been a confusion which arose to us arriving shortly after another family who were looking to eat in the restaurant.

I was really well received (arrived early) and shown to the room by a friendly manager. Parking had to be registered and all was done.The restaurant was very popular and fully booked - so if you want to eat quality Vietnamese food, you might want to book. I slept well and the environs were quiet. I took a walk in the area and felt very comfortable. Lots of pubs local to the place and the Hole in the Wall opposite was recommended.

Clean comfortable and warm - my only minor gripe is the bathroom was inlet into the room and though it was sparkling cleaned and functioned perfectly, it was narrow and a bit snug for a big person - I managed!

Situated in a good spot in Bodmin really easy to find. Good parking in their private parking. On arrival we were greeted by the proprietor unfortunately I didn’t ask his name. Such a lovely young man was so attentive. Explained all we needed to know about our stay. Our room was cosy clean very comfortable bed and very clean en-suite. We had our evening meal in the restaurant which was amazing. Breakfast was also excellent. We were looked after so well by all the staff. I couldn’t prize Westberry Hotel enough.

The location of the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed eating it in the pleasant light breakfast room. We appreciated the kettle in the room. Our room was a good size and looked fresh and clean: in fact, it looked recently renovated.

Nothing really: we were disappointed that the lovely Hoi An Restaurant affiliated to the hotel was closed on the Sunday that we arrived. We had specifically returned to the hotel from last year for the food! The Owners did advise us by e mail that the restaurant would be closed.

I received a very warm welcome. Breakfast good - you order the night before and there were several options for cooked breakfast. It was well cooked and more than adequate in size. Single room is a good size. Bathroom is very smart with a brilliant shower. I asked for fruit teabags and they were provided as promised. The Chinese restaurant serves some wonderful vegan dinners.

Disappointed there was no fruit. available at breakfast. A larger towel would be good. Room was cold but there is an electric heater to use. I was worried that as my room was just at the top of stairs from the lobby that it would be noisy. Because I had ben up since 06:00am I went straight to my room after dinner. As I feared there was quite a lot of noise from customers who had used the Hoi-An Chinese restaurant in the hotel between 21:00 and 21:30.

The location of this hotel was excellent, being very central to the town's high street and tourist attractions. The room and bathroom were very clean. The kettle and tea in the room were very welcome on arrival. The Hoi An Restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. We had a lovely evening meal without the hassle of having to get out in the rain and find an alternative option. We very much enjoyed all our three courses! The faux cha siu was excellent and I hope to return to try the other vegan options. Great Chef. It was awesome to discover that there is a restaurant out of London offering this :). The service by the Barman and Waitress that evening was 100% fantastic :). Our breakfast was very good too with a full English. We met the two Owners and they were very friendly and nice. Thanks to you all!

Nothing really. Although the room was a bit dated, it was clean and functional. The price was a bit expensive compared to our previous accommodation around Cornwall and Devon. However, we do appreciate that this hotel is in the centre of town.

Near to bodmin jail where we were going and had a restaurant in the hotel. Most staff were really helpful and friendly

It was cold and the room heater hasn’t been put on before our arrival so had to get ready in a cold room, food was taken to the wrong room which was ok but we were blamed even though we’d 100% told them the right room number. Lady who blamed us was also rude to another member of staff in front of us.. felt she needed to work on her customer service and how to talk to other colleagues. She was nice just a bit unprofessional.

The hotel is situated in a good spot for access to the town, literally across the road. Staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was okay, plenty of choice.

The room was limited - I was disappointed that there was no wardrobe or other storage for clothes, I was staying for two nights for work, so needed to hang shirts over the radiator in the shower room. The room had a fold down desk, but no space for a chair, which made it difficult to work. Parking was limited, the front spaces are reserved for vans - and there were no spaces in the rear carpark.

Breakfast good - not too much and well cooked/presented. Toast was very good. Dinner with a friend was excellent. She is a vegan and was very impressed with the variety of vegan meals offered. All staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially the barman Anthony. My bathroom was very nice and had obviously been upgraded recently. The ambience of the bar and restaurant very pleasant.

The bedroom could do with a fresh look and was in an annexe, the outer door of which not very welcoming and guests didn't close it properly, posing a security risk. There were also 2 members of staff outside the kitchen, having a smoking break when I went to bed which was rather off-putting. Would have preferred to be in the hotel proper which appeared cosy. There was a broken chair in the room which you could still sit on but didn't look very good, though room was clean and tidy. The water in the shower was rather variable in temperature.
