Quiet location and easy to find. Fairly well stocked with kitchen items. Warm but not too hot. Good to have a lift as we were on 4th floor. Apartment was adequate for our needs. It was well-situated for Sonja Gardens and Bute Park which are lovely walking for us and our dog. A slightly longer walk into the city but not a problem as Cardiff is fairly compact.

Limited Fairy liquid and bin bags. £ 10 per night seems steep to cover additional cleaning because we had a dog travelling with us as appartment small and self-catering.

The location is superb. A short walk from the castle, which was our destination for the evening, but also the Principality Stadium and the city centre shops. The studio was comfortable, clean and spacious. We had no need of the kitchen but that could come in handy if staying for a few days and wanting to self-cater. And the room rate, given the location, was very fair indeed. The reception wasn't staffed all the time, which is quite common these days, but I did meet Richard (I think it was) on the morning of checkout and he was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing of note to particularly dislike. Car parking was extremely tight so it would have been nice for that to be easier. But appreciate that it's a city centre location and space at a premium. Just a bit of care needed when getting the car in and planning for getting out!

Clean, good location, excellent space. Would stay again. Problems were eventually sorted out by the manager, who was very helpful.

Pick up of key was problematic - code supplied was wrong (had to ring to get right one) and the key locker was broken - the manager was not present when arrived, in spite of saying he would be. Someone parked in my space, which took an hour+ to sort out (not Spires fault by the way but an irritation none the less). Every room has a fire door, but these are heavy to open, noisy when they close and difficult to operate if you are carrying something.

Excellent comms. I was very grateful to have a call regarding my booking, when I was able to ask questions. A great system for checking in - we were potentially going to arrive very late and the check-in process accommodated that. We encountered a very friendly member of staff when checking out. Facilities very good - perfect for our needs. We'll stay again!

We had to park in the Sophia Gardens car park, and carry our bags the long way round. If we'd been in time to book parking (which is limited) that wouldn't have been a problem. On event days at the Principality Stadium, be aware that Sophia Gardens is used for event parking and get there early. Luckily we did!

Good location. 10 min walk to town centre. Everything had been thought of in the room. Well laid out. Good shower. Loved the USB charging points on the bedside lights.

The mornings were noisy with the heavy firedoors slamming and we were the first room in the corridor. The mattress was made up of two singles which slightly came apart creating a gap. The parking bay was very tight around a pillar.

The location was perfect as everything was within walking distance. The apartment was cosy and had everything we needed and very clean. It was value for money.

The apartment was a lot smaller than I anticipated and was too warm. We turned the radiator off, and the fan didn't make much of a difference. I was only able to book parking for one day, which meant we spent a lot of money for the other two days.

Location was good for walking in the next door park and into the City Centre. Neat and tidy spacious apartment. Comfortable bed. Good shower.

For £10 and 5 minutes of effort the bathroom window could be made to be completely private with a window privacy film, rather than being on view from the office block. The kitchen utensils were rather lacking. No tea towels were provided for drying

We were let in to reception by someone who had the door code as we couldn’t find it amongst all the emails we’d had. The place was really spacious, excellent facilities and wonderful for our dog with park so close by. Everything you could need in a studio apartment. Will book again.

It was a bit too warm in the room for us. Windows open was noisy (but to be expected in a city centre on a Friday night)

Seeing as it was the night of Beyonce in the Principally, at under £100 a night, this place was a steal. A great fully equipped kitchen/lounge area overlooking Sofia gardens. Large bedroom and double bed and great bathroom, the shower was lush. Plenty big enough for 2 people. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the centre and to the park fields and river taff. 24-hour petrol station across the road. Opted out of onsite parking, parked further up the road as it's free if you're lucky to find a space. Onside parking did look secure. Clear communication on booking, safety deposit- refunded on day we left, accessing the property and room.

To be totally picky, there wasn't any coffee provided, only tea, and there was only 1 hand towel.

Good location on site parking with the ability to make our own meals. Very quiet building. Bathroom for each bedroom and well equipped, shower was fantastic.

No air conditioning, it was extremely warm. A fan was provided but it didn't work very well. Dishwasher had an error code. Parking can be extremely difficult as spaces are under the building and very tight. But would not stop us from staying again.
