staff were all helpful and friendly, room was fine. we were pleased to be able to take our dog with us.

The cooked breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a selection of fresh fruit. We sat in the bar for coffee and drinks several times, which was nice and relaxing. An amazing array of drinks! Our first night we chose to eat in the hotel, clients should be aware that the menu is Indian but we had a very tasty meal with gentle spicing.

The water for tea was not always hot but the staff changed it when we asked. At busy times the orders got a bit muddled but we later realised that the charming 2 Italian assistants were on a 2 week training course for learning English, so quite understandable. It might be an idea for the manager to explain this to the guests. The lighting in our bathroom came on and then went off but returned soon afterwards so not a problem.

The staff (Nadeem (?) in particular) were very generally very helpful. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable. The location was good, close to the restaurants and shops, with a sea view from the upper rooms.

The bar closed too early. It is customary in this grade of hotel for the bar to remain open for residents as long as required. Most nights they wanted to close at 10 pm. We were provided with only two bath towels and a single towel for two people to share. We requested at least a second hand towel and eventually one extra was provided, but removed by the claeaning staff the following day and not replaced. The lift to the bedroom was tiny and barely able to fit two adults and a very small wheelchair. There was no outside space (garden or terrace) although the Manor Gardens opposite were convenient, limited only by the comfort of the wooden park benches,

Quirky small hotel with boutique feel. Nice bar and breakfast areas, lots of art and pictures everywhere. Clean and warm, nice breakfast, very friendly and welcoming staff. Value for money. Very modern bathroom. Nice view out to the sea and coast from window in our room. It is an old building so have to expect some original features such as high ceilings and uneven floors but that adds to the quirky atmosphere. We paid for parking and glad we did as made it really convenient as street parking more challenging depending on time of day. Would stay again.

Can hear some things in adjacent room/s so if in time more soundproofing could be done that would be good. However was quiet when we wanted to sleep so that was fine. I think the hotel is in the process of improving all of the rooms and areas in the hotel but is very acceptable as it is now.

The location was absolutely amazing the sea view was literally perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly as we were meant to stay on one of the lower floors but without even asking they changed it so we can be in one of the top floors with that great view. The hotel was close to a lot of places and also next to the manor gardens which was hosting an amazing festival there when we arrived

A few of the facilities were either a pain to work or just simply didn’t. The bedside plugs didn’t work on either sides and the keycard to open the door to the room took a few tries every time to get it open to the point we had to have someone come up twice

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and well equipped. Great location and view of park below and sea beyond. Parking was pre-arranged albeit at a cost but provided the convenience of avoiding searching for a spot. There are some great places to eat nearby, in particular Bumble and Bee and Spoken.

It is a well run hotel and value for money. Perhaps as a result there were times such as during meal service or when the bar was busy that the reception desk was not always serviced. It didn't take too long for someone to come along however, and when they did, the service was always very good. I would have liked a fridge in the room just to keep water cool through the night, but this is only a minor observation, everything else was well provided.

Location was excellent 5 mins to the Beach and 2 mins to town. We didn't use the bar or have breakfast during our stay so unable to comment. Parking is reservable at £12 a day which for the area is expensive, we found on street parking outside the hotel which is free all day. Our room was compact but adequate for our needs. The ensuite was an ok size with an electric shower with good power and hot water. We didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff but when we did they were polite, friendly and professional. For the price paid a good value hotel.

Every single employee I encountered was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the bar was a cozy spot to relax and enjoy a drink. Overall, my stay was truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location and Seaview from Upper room. Nazeem was a really nice guy and always polite and smiling. Clean and comfortable room.

Hard to think of anything we didn't like. Maybe the sausages could have been better. We thought we'd be on the third floor from the description on Booking.com, where we had previously stayed but had a room on the second floor, with not quite as good a view. However, overall it was a great place to stay. Nazeem is a great asset to the hotel. A really nice guy!
