Great hotel, 15 mins walk from Queen Street train station. Very reasonably priced with great amenities. Rooms were large with good-sized and comfortable single beds. The room has an iron, iron board, and hairdryer along with tea and coffee, which was easily replenished at reception. The hotel has a bar on site, which was well stocked and reasonably priced. Breakfast in the morning ran from 6 - 11 am with a good variety of hot food, cereal, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Not that it was a problem for us, just to make people aware that the hotel does sit on a hill and may not suit anyone with mobility issues.

Wide range of breakfast options, all very tasty and abundant. All staff were nice and approacheable, and made all the efforts to accommodate our requests. Position is ideal as only a short walk from the central rail station and other city centre attractions. Despite the central location, the hotel is very quiet and rooms are very well noise insulated. Beds very comfortable and rooms spacious.

This hotel has probably some of the slowest lifts in the whole of Scotland! But this might be a strategy to get guests to be active by taking the stairs (which we did as there are not many floors).

Good breakfast with plenty of choice. The room was also very quiet as was the whole hotel with heavy, good quality doors. Also loved the blackout curtain which meant no light could disturb ones sleep.

Hot water from the tap wasn't hot at all which made for a miserable tepid shower in the morning. Also the heating controller in the room was broken although the helpful reception staff were able to control it from their front desk so it didn't affect our comfort too much. A fan heater had been placed in the room so we could have a blast of heat if necessary.

The hotel is in a good central position,easy access for all,reception area is so lovely,they even have an area with sweets,juice,and any essential toiletries that you may have forgotten very clever of them,the staff were so kind and friendly nothing was a problem we asked about getting a just eat order delivered and wasn’t a problem,plenty of choice for breakfast as well continental or cooked breakfast tasted lovely,bedroom was great size lovely big tv as well a desk area if needed plenty of sockets highly recommend this hotel we are already booked to go bk in February

We arrived in mid afternoon to be met by a lady who, in spite of there being a temporary failure of the booking system / IT system, welcomed us with a friendly smile and calm demeanor in the face of the problems the staff were facing. Upon checking in, we were allocated a double room despite ordering a twin room. A fault of the system failure I would assume however upon visiting reception again, the gentleman there swiftly allocated a twin room with apologies. In conclusion, the main factor I was impressed by was how the staff were handling the situation they were in and I feel that kind of thing should be recognised. Otherwise the room was excellent, the beds were big, the air con was welcome and the shower was excellent. Great stuff all round!

A well-situated property giving easy access to the city centre shops, bars and restaurants. Parking at the Sauchiehall street Q-Park can be accessed across the road at a discounted rate for hotel guests, although be aware the City Centre is subject to low emission zone charges. A clean and well-presented facility, staffed by personnel who are polite and helpful. The breakfasts and evening meals were O.K. if a little limited. We found the location good for getting about and used the sightseeing buses which are easily to join at 21 different locations around the city. We will use the hotel again on another visit to Glasgow and have no problem recommending it to all.

A few small things would have been better. The room service appears to be on a budget, although cleaned and serviced daily, the beds were not made and the little extras hotel patrons get use to over the years were lacking, such as biscuits on the tea tray, bathroom items etc.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel was located in a quieter part of the city center, but still close to the main center attractions and it also felt really safe to walk around even at night. The great part for the rest of the attractions was that there was a bus station right in front of the hotel (and some others really close to it). The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was great, with a wide range of hot and cold stuff (including haggis and beans even). There's also a really nice bar nearby that plays live music (bloc+) that we were lucky to bump into and be so close to the hotel. We would definitely stay again here :)

Hotel is well located , breakfast is buffet style with a good choice of cereals, coffee and tea and the cooked breakfast is of a very good quality.

The toileteries are good but the hair conditioner had been used up and not topped up which I didn't discover until I was washing my hair. This was difficult to see as the container dispenser looked ok and as said I didn't notice until I was washing my hair. Also the hankies box only contained a couple of hankies, again not immediately noticeable until I used one.

The overall experience was amazingly perfect. The check-in process was so easy, the room was ready when we arrived, so we were able to leave our bags and explore. The check-out process was so easy. We were able to leave our bags after check-in at the hotel. The room was lovely and clean, nice and big with enough storage for two, the bed was so comfy and the pillows were the right firmness for ourselves. The tea and coffee facilities were great. The shower was amazing, we were able to move the shower head, and change the pressure of the water, the pressure was perfect, the shower was a easy step in and had plenty of room.The bathroom was clean and bright, we had three sizes of towels, the largest one was big enough for a plus size person. The toilet roll was thick. The toiletries provided smelt lovely. The room was cleaned every day, we appreciated this. The breakfast was perfect. We had no complaints. The breakfast was always hot and had plenty of options. The breakfast was self-serve and were able to get as much as we liked. The waffles were an added bonus for breakfast. Tea and coffee was available all the time, we were able to get some teabags for the night to take to our room. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. When asked questions they answered easily and with a smile. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it has been the best stay in a hotel we have had in a long time. We would highly recommend this hotel and will be coming back.

These are very personal things and are not a reflection on the hotel. Some biscuits in the room would be nice and having a window that opened. But these are personal preferences. We had no issues at all. The lift took a while to open the doors when arriving at the floor.
