I had a large breakfast the first 2 days, and didn't need lunch. It was standard hotel fare, and plenty of it. If the hotel would like advice on a better vegan offer to make them stand out, I know lots of vegans who'd be happy to help! The rooftop balcony is a lovely place to sit with a drink.

Just small niggles, mostly fixed rapidly by the staff. Eg, a small leak from the towel rail. I didn't like to fiddle in case I made it worse, but the duty manager fixed it in seconds. Eg2, I had a wonderful vegan dish in the restaurant on Monday, but they'd run out when I fancied another.

We stayed for 8 days over christmas ..just perfect thank you all so much for all your hard work .We come often so wont be to long before we are back .Christmas quiz night was full of laughter thank you Jordan ..Buffet was lovely thank you chef and lovely Angie ..David and klem are so welcoming ..Maggie is a star as usual always up for giggle ..kirsty and egle are Angels always so helpful and love a good natter ..House keeping thank you for looking after us ...Happy new year to you all see you all soon.

The cliff hotel is perfectly positioned for the beach and bus stop. The whole hotel is clean and cared for, the bed was exceptionally comfy, I'm only sorry that I forgot to have a look to check what make it was, for future reference. I paid a bargain price for my room in the middle of December. Growing up in Great Yarmouth in the seventies I never imagined that I would ever be a guest at the cliff hotel. I loved it and would definitely look to stay there again when I return to the area.

I couldn't open my window, but this was a minor inconvenience. the room was lovely

I stayed for a few days for my birthday. i had a sea view. I've had this room on several occasions. it's one of my favourite rooms, always clean and tidy.. the staff in the breakfast room are always lovely. All staff were lovely and welcoming, I truly think this hotel is a beautiful place to stay near a gorgeous beach.. hopefully be back soon..

The staff in the restaurant were also lovely, but did try to say my ribs were cold because I was outside instead of just warming them up like I asked.. the wings were piping hot. And the fire stand heater didn't have any gas when I'd asked for one as we were sitting under a table where the heating didn't work.

Friendly welcome, lovely building, great views of the sea from the terrace. Great service from all staff. Sunday lunch fantastic. Easy parking. Room was very clean and comfortable with a sea view. Bar and dining areas very clean and welcoming with character features. The chef deserves a mention as all food was first class and thoroughly enjoyed. Great breakfasts too. The food was excellent and all the staff so friendly, efficient and attentive. Two members of staff deserve a big thankyou as they made our stay special. Molly on reception helped make our booking requests perfect and Maggie brightened our breakfasts with a great sense of humour. Both deserve a big thankyou and should be recognised by the management as outstanding in their customer service. THANKYOU MOLLY & MAGGIE.

Nothing to dislike.

I actually can’t say there’s nothing I don’t like about this hotel. It’s very clean a lovely place every room I’ve had so far. I’ve never ever had any problems. They’ve always very clean and they’ve always sort any problems which I’ve not yet had part from. I just didn’t like the biscuits what they left and they kindly soon change them not with one packet but a few different ones as well this lovely hotel looks out to the sea in their beautiful terrace bar area which has got heating but can be very chilly certain times of the year outstanding hotel

Nice rooms, even though an old building, rooms have been updated.A nice comfortable bed/shower nice and powerful. It's a lovely terrace attached to restaurant which you can eat on if the weather is good, has retractable roof and heaters. We will stay again at this hotel, exceptional for a UK hotel.

We chose a balcony room, overlooks roof tops with sea in distance. Unfortunately the ducting too,which started up in morning, you would hear this if you had the window open. But, it is nice to be able to step outside the room, rare for a UK hotel! Did not spoil our stay at all.

Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was superb, location of hotel and views brilliant. Plenty of parking too. The beach and theatre (we went to two excellent shows!) was literally 2 minutes walk away. Bust stop 100 metres away with easy links to Great Yarmouth.

Room was a little small-our choice I know-and very warm. Fan provided wasn't too great and very loud. A draw was broken and the back of the door needed a bit of work. Only reason I mention this-as it did not effect our stay or opinion of the hotel-is you may want to fix.

The staff were all great. Friendly and helpful, especially the servers at breakfast :) The location was great. The sea views from the room were amazing. Especially watching the sun come up over the horizon :) The rooms were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed being able to walk along the beach after breakfast each morning. It was refreshing and calming. In closing, everything was at or above the level expected for a historic seaside hotel and for the price paid. I highly recommend 'The Cliff Hotel'. You won't be disappointed.

The rooms have no aircon. So it can feel hot and stuffy at times.

Hotel was lovely very clean and the rooms were nice. The breakfast was fantastic and our waitress was amazing, unfortunately we decided to eat in the restaurant one night and it was awful so much so we could not eat it, but in fairness the manager gave us a full refund . Location was brilliant and has a fantastic beach. Nice town and hotel to stay for a short break away .

The only thing we were not happy with was the food in the restaurant Also please be aware there are no lifts in the hotel. The Car Park was busy and a bit of a problem sometimes
