We were made to feel welcome at the outset. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and superbly clean with lovely extra touches such as a tray of petit fours, fresh flowers, robes and lovely bathroom toiletries. The decor and furnishings were excellent, as was the food and service. Breakfast was predominately top class continental with eggs available to order if required. Spacious well lit car parking.

Unfortunately there is quite a bit of traffic noise as the Inn is located next to a rather busy road so if you are a light sleeper this could be an issue, however, this would not deter me from booking again.

Really cosy restaurant/pub and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was absolutely stunning. Very friendly staff and always available to help. Nothing was too much bother. Robes and home made cookies were a really nice touch in the rooms. The large bath in the bathroom was lovely to use especially given the poor weather x

The only thing that was a downfall for us was the fact that the taxi services weren’t great. We had food booked in Hereford and we weren’t able to make it due to weather conditions but after speaking to staff trying to get a taxi into Hereford was quite hard anyway at the best of times. The hotel states that it is in Hereford when it’s a good taxi ride away and that would have cost £30 each way. This wasn’t the hotels fault or issue merely down to myself booking the hotel based that it stated it was also in Hereford and not being from the area I would have loved to have known this before I came x

The pub was lovely and symmetrical decorated to hi lite the history of the house.. The evening meal was delicious and there is a good wine list to accompany the local produce menu. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable with dressing gowns and toiletries were provided, it had nice touches like homemade biscuits and we had the fox 🦊 room which was themed.

A very small thing I think could improve the breakfast, this would be a choice of bread, not being picky but I’m not a lover of sourdough and I can’t eat white bread as it upsets my stomach.. I asked if they had wholesome or brown bread, but on that morning only sourdough was available. It did not detract from my enjoyment of my breakfast and this would not stop us from staying again.

The staff were superb from the first minute until we left. Helpful, friendly and professional. If they didn't know the answer to one of our many questions, they found out. Also left a picnic breakfast for us as we were leaving at 7am. Really lovely people. Our room "the Hare" was spacious and comfortable with a free standing bath. Really relaxing. The restaurant was super. We ate from both the bar menu and the restaurant menu. Both were fabulous.

Really nothing at all. It was raining and misty so we didn't get to make full use of the lovely beer garden and it is on a road. However the rooms are quiet and the traffic did not pose a problem.

The best night away ever, we booked last minute due to my husband being taken ill the week of his birthday, this was what was overly needed. The lady, blonde hair , who welcomed us in showed us to our room and was with us at breakfast service, is an asset to the company. Oh ... and get the breakfast!!!! AMAZING!!!!

Traffic noise. However... I read the reviews before hand so I knew , no ones fault! These roads being built next to such beautiful period buildings! Ear plugs supplied regardless! Slept like a log anyway!

Stayed in the most beautiful room. Everything tasteful and gorgeous. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good. Staff were lovely and friendly.

We felt it was very expensive for a one night stay in January with no facilities except a restaurant, but we knew that before we booked and it was a stunning room, we were disappointed that there was nobody cooking breakfast but what we had was excellent quality.

Beautiful building very tastefully decorated. Gorgeous bedroom and the most comfortable bed ever! Every detail was meticulous and made for a perfect stay. The evening meal was exceptional (especially the cheese soufflé starter!) and the included breakfast was divine and a very generous menu for an included price. Staff were so friendly and lovely throughout our whole visit.

Such an amazing place to stay! You can tell it’s recently been renovated and our room and bathroom were absolutely stunning! Breakfast was delicious and every single staff member was super friendly and helpful!

The only problem we had was that the sign outside our window kept us up the first night as it squeaked whenever it moved but this couldn’t be helped as it was a windy night

From the minute we walked in everyone was so welcoming, and this continued throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and we were very grateful that they accommodated our early breakfast before we went out for the day to Oldfield Forge. The decor of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are stunningly decorated and designed with comfort at the forefront. The food, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner is sensational and not to be missed! We actually cancelled our reservations at another establishment on our second day because we didn't want to miss out on another night of their culinary delights...and we were not disappointed! I would highly recommend the goats cheese souffle starter, beef wellington and chocolate souffle dessert (the burgers are incredible too!) In summary, this hotel is an absolute must and we can't wait to come back again! We can't thank the staff (and chef) enough for making our stay at the New Inn so special and memorable.

The only thing to mention would be that you could hear the music from the restaurant downstairs in our room till late. However, it wasn't obnoxiously loud and earplugs were provided but we didn't need them and I'm quite a light sleeper.

Everything. Beautiful venue, absolutely stunning room. Absolutely love the feel of the place. Room was enormous with a very luxurious feel. Dinner was fantastic as well. Quite pricey but you definitely get exceptional quality for your money. The staff were wonderful and attentive and we were given a free round of drinks because our starter was later than expected, even though we didn't really notice! Can't fault anything and will be back.

Only advice I'd give is we were initially going to have the bar menu rather than Al carte, however we only got the set menu and Al carte menu. Then noticed someone with something off the bar menu. So if all menus could be handed out if applicable that would be great. But we should have asked in all fairness.
