This self catering cottage was larger than expected and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen was particularly well equipped and the Welcome Pack of local produce was a lovely touch. Staff were always on hand and were really friendly and helpful; it felt like nothing was too much trouble. The shared courtyard area was immaculately maintained, leading to ample parking and another large grassed area which was great for dog walking. The hot tub was a real treat!

The opportunity to purchase breakfast on site would have been welcome although there is a lovely tea room close by.

The room we stayed in was lovely. It was very cozy, decorated like a little cabin, and had an amazingly large jacuzzi tub! It was very quiet and really nice to have a private outdoor terrace area. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming. A continental breakfast was included, which wasn't advertised on booking.com when we booked, so great little extra. Would very much recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here! We wanted a chilled night away for my husbands birthday and the team could not have been more accommodating. The room was beautiful, immaculate and luxurious and we were treated like VIP guests. Facilities were brilliant, breakfast was great, and Debbie made our stay extra special with the little ‘touches’. We will definitely be returning!

Fabulous space that was cosy and very clean. The Host, Debbie, made sure we were comfortable and how to contact her if needed. Very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Really liked the option of either collecting breakfast to take back to your room or dine in the room next to reception. Great location with access to local bus routes and village

Everything. Cosy retreat for a couple. Bath in bedroom was lovely added touch. Great hot tub Staff couldn't be more helpful, nothing was a problem. Great location with beautiful walks nearby

The only thing we could suggest to make it better would be a toilet downstairs near the hot tub as the only toilet is in the upstairs bedroom. Literally couldn't fault anything

Warm welcome by reception lady very friendly lovely lady, Explained everything about our stay, even looked at other rooms next morning gorgeous place. bed and bath very nice in the ciaro suite very comfortable.

This complex would benefit from serving hot food and maybe a bar could not fault anything very nice place but for future these facilities would be beneficial.

Everything about our stay was outstanding ✨️. We were greeted by a lovely lady named Debbie who could not do enough for us. Very welcoming. The room was outstanding and so much better than we had anticipated. Very spacious and clean. The bath was my absolute favourite 😍 it was huge!!. We will definitely be booking up again maybe stay in a different room. We stayed in the Cairo suite and everything about the stay was beautiful. Tea and coffee were provided, water already cooled in the fridge. Iron and ironing board too. We had a short walk down to the badger and hound for tea. Such a lovely welcoming pub. Food was lovely, found it a little over priced but honestly that is expected when staying in a little village. 10/10. Myself and my partner had a gorgeous stay and will be back to St Hildas Complex soon enough!!! 👍

There was nothing at all to dislike about the stay. Well worth every penny that we paid.

Was a lovely stay at St Hildas Was very clean and comfortable. The huge bath in the room was amazing and some lovely hadded touches too. Also the lady on the desk was very helpful and made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay again and try the different themed rooms. Highly recommended.

The room does advertise on booking.com that it had a hot tub ,but there only available in the cottages not in this room. Was a bit disappointed.

The hostess Debbie was amazing, such a warm friendly welcome and helped us with anything we needed, she went above and beyond! The room was immaculate and had everything we could possible need, breakfast was one of the best continental breakfasts I’ve had and you can take a tray to your room for breakfast in bed! The whole stay felt incredibly luxurious and 100% worth every penny!

Super friendly welcome, very attentive check in, couldn’t do enough to help us settle. This decadent room is made for a quiet night in, make sure you plan time to spend in it! The mini fridge ready to chill a bottle of bubbly to enjoy in the oversized spa bath and an ice machine were great finishing touches. The location offers easy access to nearby Port Mulgrave, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby. Beautiful coastline for exploring. Will definitely book again.

Hint for improvement, not a complaint; the pillows were a bit tired and solid. A luxurious room deserves luxurious bedding!
