We spent a wonderful 6 days in London, where our 'base' was Park Avenue J Hotel. We appreciate the hospitality of Neha, Drizia and Cristina, who were really helpful with all our requests, that also included a (smooth) room change after the first night. The hotel is very much recommended for family travellers: rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is delicious (typical English breakfast), public transport is really convenient (Bus stop of nr. 148 to center is 5 mins walk; Bayswater tube station is 15 mins) and Hyde Park is at the end of the street. I think it is fair to say, that we shall return both to London and to Park Avenue J hotel in the future.

The location was a bit noisy, with ambulance sounds and some construction during our stay (as Usual in Central London). For the purpose of improvement : -Add a Bidet Spray near the toilet seat to accommodate additional cleaning methods.

Initially we were put in a room underground with no window which we didn’t like but the staff were very understanding and moved us to a higher floor the next day when it became available . The room was smallish but fine with a very comfortable bed and a great shower . The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Staff in all areas were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Wifi was excellent.

Location is really good, a few meters away from Hyde Park. It´s a small comfortable hotel, with good breakfast included, good wifi and an ok size room. The neighbourhood is lively, also nice for a good walk around. There are many dining options nearby.

Unfortunately, we were given a below-ground floor room, which was not described as an option when we made our reservation.

Location is easy to get to once you arrived in Liverpool Station for the underground to the hotel location is also easy to walk to some of the tourist attractions if the weather is good the small town if Queens way is handy place for snack meals local bar get to see the local people I recommend the hotel

Excellent location. Very clean property. Good English breakfast. Quick check in and check out. Comfortable beds. Safe area for late travel. Near Hyde park.

Rooms are not noise proof.

The location is great, opposite to Hyde Park, three stops to Marble Arch, 5 minutes walk to Central line and 3 minutes to bus stop. Quiet and safe neighborhood. The staff were helpful

The sound isolation inside the hotel was very poor, you can hear the snoring of the person in the next room. The rooms were either very hot or very cold, were not able to adjust optimum temperature. The breakfast buffet was very poor and the staff was not on time to accommodate the missing items.

The breakfast was very good and we ended up having it every morning despite the extra cost (£12,50). The room as well as the bathroom were smallish but adequate and functional. There was a kettle, coffee machine and a small fridge, and the hotel provided water bottles every day. Location near Queensway and Bayswater tube stations and Hyde Park was very convenient, and Paddington station was not far either. The hotel staff was very friendly.

Our room was in the basement and sometimes quite hot - there was aircon though, and we used it a few times. You could easily hear sounds from neighbouring rooms and from the street & underground, but you got used to that.

Location was perfect: 5 mintute walk to Queensway Underground station (Central line) and Bayswater Underground station (Circle line). Both good points to reach most anywhere in London. Also on the same street as the Underground stations are plenty of restaurant choices and small grocery stores. Everyone working here is very friendly and helpful. Able to book tours directly at the front desk.

Rooms are quiet, a bit on the smaller side (but this is London). Aircon works fine. Only 2 items we did not care for: 1) the gaps around the door are quite large and allows alot of light into a darkened room and 2) the bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. If these two items were fixed, I'd say this would be a perfect place to stay during your visit to London.
