Close to Old Trafford

Very welcoming staff as soon as you walk in through the door, very helpful and lovely. The room was immaculate and exceeded my expectations when I walked in. Pretty good coffee in the room too! The drinks from the bar are reasonably priced, the staff there are also great and had a nice little conversation with the gentleman who served us too. Not too far from the city centre, in walking distance (about 15 minutes) to Old Trafford and about 10 to the music venue (which is why we stayed there). Everything was brilliant and will be booking again in the future!:)

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Close to trams and other transport to get to centre of Manchester. Walking distance of restaurants and a shopping centre. The room was cosy, and had a lovely view of the docks from the room. Variety of facilities, such as a kettle, iron and hairdryer, accessible.

It is true that the room is a bit outdated, but did not affect our stay. Thin walls, rather nosy, neighbours from across and beside the room can be heard, especially using the bathroom. TV was temperamental, remote did not have a strong connection to engage with the TV. No A/C, so had to turn off the radiator as it does get warm overtime and reduce room temperature.

We have stayed here on several occasions and always have a lovely stay. The location is perfect for our needs and it is easy to find. The free parking is a huge bonus for us. The rooms have everything you need and more and the beds are very comfortable in every room we’ve stayed in. The breakfast choice is plentiful and of good quality and we always enjoy this part of our stay. The staff are attentive and helpful especially during our most recent visit where the lady helping at breakfast was so kind and friendly. It is outstanding value for money and we will definitely be back again.

Some of the standard rooms we’ve stayed in are a little dated and could do with an update here and there possibly.

How well Manchester has done to regenerate this area ...football & cricket grounds walkable also Will rtn & stop here definitely

Nothing to dislike

Good location for Victoria Warehouse. Only a couple of minutes walk from the Metrolink. My room was clean, spacious and warm. Very quiet at night despite my room being on the front of the hotel. The on-site restaurant has good vegetarian and vegan choices. Breakfast was good value. Parking was free for hotel guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Decor is a little dated. My biggest issue was the amount of emails and texts I received from the hotel - 4 the day before and day of checking in! This including an email received at 6am on the day I was checking in saying 'thanks for staying with us'. This caused me to panic thinking I'd booked the wrong dates! Totally unnecessary.

Close to Old Trafford for the football match Breakfast was nice and we eat there in the evening and food was good

It doesn’t take cash, I wanted to pay for dinner with cash but they are cash only, not great as not everyone wants to use card for everything, customers should have a choice. Pillows were like flat wafers they were terrible hotels often overlook this aspect and you can tell the difference between a hotel who takes your stay seriously by the pillows, yes the bed was comfy but had an awful night sleep due ole flat pillows that clearly have seen better days.

There was urine still in the toilet when I entered my room. I asked for a nice view and was placed in a room with no view and a massive piece of machinery outside it. Room was bit tatty and old fashioned for the price Expensive rooms and breakfast wasn't included.

Great hotel, staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Hotel has a gym on 2nd Floor despite previous reviews saying it doesn't. Small but has it covered. Rooms on quay side have great views and are quiet away from road noise. Spot a Banksy on wall of nearby building if you can! Parking was free for stay which is a bonus in this part of Manchester. Room was big with lovely comfy chair overlooking the quay in afternoon sunshine. Bed was super comfy. Cleaning staff were very quick, friendly and room was spotless. Will definitely stay again.

Nothing really. The rooms were a little dated ie bathroom decor but that's hardly a biggie.

Second stay at Copthorne & found it this time cleaner compared to 2 years ago. Staff are super helpful & hotel is ideal in size & location. Breakfast was excellent & we had dinner which was wonderful.

We didnt have enough light in our room they had to put in 2 table lamps, bathroom is dark too. Rooms are a bit run down but clean & comfy. Cleaners should be quiet in the corridors at 8am in the morning, they were speaking super loud to each other. At one point we thought it was intentional like a wake up call lol.
