This property described the bedroom as the “Sumptuous Room” I can confirm beyond any shadow of doubt that sumptuous it was. Extremely comfortable, clean, warm, well presented, well decorated, modern fixtures and fittings with loads of space available. The building is a bespoke self-contained modern and well-built Bed & Breakfast facility with a reception area, dining room, bar and kitchen with the perfect surrounding views of the Canaston Bridge area all around the dining room from a whole host of large panoramic windows. Loads of safe/secure off-road parking on site, quite and tranquil for a good night’s sleep. The perfect stay for anyone considering touring/visiting the Pembroke area of West Wales. Perfect location almost central of Pembroke to tour/visit North, South, and West of Pembroke County. Emma and her team deserve nothing but praise for this extremely well-presented property. I can highly recommend this property to any Booking.Com customer as seasoned Booking.Com Genius traveling the world for many decades.

We liked everything, one cannot fault a single thing!

The staff are super friendly. The breakfast is superb and the room we ended up with was very comfortable. Lovely grounds as well/

When we booked (admittedly in a rush at the last minute) we got the impression that all the rooms were at ground level. In fact the one we had been allocated was on the first floor above the restaurant. This would have meant going up a steep staircase. My wife suffers from an arthritic knee and it would have been very difficult for her. So we felt we had to go for a different room at ground level, It cost us an extra £30 per night. A further irritation was that the jacuzzi in the upgraded room didn't seem to work properly.

Warm and friendly welcome, superb room exceptionally clean, fantastic choice of high quality breakfast , lovely spa bath. Everything was perfect, the grounds were immaculate, with lovely walks. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were so soft and ironed. Our stay was very relaxing , the attention to detail with homemade shortbread, chocolates and wine in our room, with proper milk in a fridge which also had chilled water was lovely. Finally Canaston Oaks is very central and so many places to go and fantastic beaches are not far away

Lovely rural setting but still within easy driving distance to costal scenery and historical attractions. Super comfy bed and really clean facilities. Toiletries provided. Beautiful towels! Lovely selection of continental and cooked food all beautifully presented. Originally a group of farmyard buildings which were converted into individual bedroom units and continue to be run by the third generation of the family. They also have lodges camping sites and beautiful woodland walks. Highly recommended and would most definitely stay again.

Weren't able to stay long enough!

We had a lovely stay here for one night. The room was a generous size with a lovely sitting area and ensuite. There was a complimentary pack of shortbread and red wine. There was a tall standing fan which was helpful in the hot weather. The view out of our window was gorgeous, overlooking green fields. We went for a walk in the grounds along the river which was easily manageable in our crocs! and we were accompanied by the hotel dog who was friendly but kept his distance. Lots of nice options at breakfast time and my dairy intolerance was accommodated with oat milk and margarine. Lovely fresh sourdough available. Soaps in the bathroom were very nice too. We took a taxi into Narberth which cost £15 each way and was well worth it to enjoy the local pubs and Hwb which had lots of beers on tap and some nice eateries. If you'd rather stay in they have a bar in house with a good selection of wines, beers, snacks and games.

The only niggles were that we couldn't get the Jacuzzi bath working and there was no milk with the coffee set in the bedroom. It wouldn't be fair to judge this too harshly though as we only stayed one night so didn't have the chance to ask about this. I'm sure they would've helped with this if we'd asked.

This is a jewel in Pembrokeshire’s crown. Stunning location with fantastic views over the Pembrokeshire countryside. Our room was part of the pretty courtyard accommodation. It was spotlessly clean, really comfortable & lovely extras like the quality of the bathroom toiletries. Mini fridge in the room with fresh milk & water & complimentary shortbread biscuits provided too. Excellent choice of breakfast to suit everybody’s taste & service always with a smile. Emma & her team couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. All in all a 5*+ stay & I would definitely recommend this B&B.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this property, it was excellent.

The little touches in the room, such as the complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc were appreciated. The breakfast was great and in a lovely communal area. Staff were friendly and clearly wanted the guests to enjoy their stay.

Very small thing: We would have used the bar (honesty system in place to help yourself and pay later) upon returning from our restaurant booking at around 10 pm but it was shut. The opening times for this may have been written in the book in the room or told to us on arrival but we didn't recall seeing or hearing it. Apologies if we missed that or any signs but something to mention if not already flagged abywhere.

I have to say Canaston Oaks is probably one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. It is quite close to the main A-road, but far enough away not to be disturbed by the traffic. We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival, were shown the main restaurant area and honesty bar. Directed to where our room was; which was very close to the disabled parking. The room was absolutely beautiful and pristine. Our room was fully accessible, including the bathroom - which had grad rails for both toilet and shower. I believe there is a shower stool on request, but as we were only one night, we could manage. The room had tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available; plus a mini fridge with water and fresh milk. There were beautiful wrapped shortbread biscuits, which were a lovely surprise also left for us. The room had an iron, ironing board; a really good quality hair dryer and straighters, plenty of lamps for low level lighting; ample sockets for charging phones etc. Plus TV and DVD player (there are a choice of DVDs in the main reception that can be borrowed). The bed was so comfortable, and huge and warm - I could barely bring myself to get up! Canaston Oaks have even gone the extra mile by supplying a list of local eateries in and around the area including contact details; even though they do offer an option to order in a pizza or charcuterie board which can be delivered to your room between 6PM and 7PM. Breakfast was gorgeous, freshly cooked and piping hot. There was fresh juice, water, a selection or teas and freshly brewed coffee. Plenty of cereal choices, yoghurt, and fruits. I cannot express how lovely Canaston Oaks is, but whole-heartedly recommend it. We will most certainly be bookiing to go again.

Not so much a 'didn't like' but rather what I might do different in future. We booked in a rush, as were attending a funeral and t avoid the roadworks decided to book a stay last minute. I'm vegan and my husband is vegetarian; so in future would contact the property prior to arrival to regarding plant-based milk. It's a small thing, but I just didn't think before hand.

We stayed in a barn suite which had a seating area and an outdoor terrace, both with stunning countryside views. The suite was modern, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. Lovely breakfasts and the charcuterie platter we ordered one evening was delicious. The honesty bar in the main building is a great idea.

No complaints - we left feeling relaxed and hope to return sometime.

This is a delightful family run, high quality, well maintained B & B. The interior design and colour palette for the guest areas is just as we would choose. Every one of the Staff were friendly and welcoming and committed to making our weeks stay here perfect. On arrival, we had booked a charcuterie tray and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Very good. The evening before departure we booked a With a pizza with a personal selection of toppings very tasty and filling.

We could not think of anything to dislike about this property.
