Breakfast was lovely but a little expensive. It was extra on room rate where previously was included. Decaf local coffee!! Always a great welcome. Room upgrade to avoid potential noise from a wedding do. Apology for the noise! Lovely welcome and attentive care. Fabulous taster menu in restaurant. You need to pre book. Fantastic views, fourth stay here and would return.

Bed not made, didn’t read room notice until later. Didn’t have a sign in room to hang in door anyway. No lovely biscuits to have with coffee which were available previously. Little touches make big difference.

A gem of a place. The views and general ambience were idyllic. I could happily have sat on our balcony forever, watching the boats, seals, swimmers, paddle boarders in the harbour. The beautiful sheltered cove beach was accessible down a set of stairs in front of the hotel. Our room was beautiful - clean and well organised with lovely en-suite with walk in shower. A good sized double. Old wooden furniture gave it a charming, homely but special feel. Breakfast was delicious - the usual choices beautifully cooked and presented. Good quality ingredients. The staff were exceptional. They all made us feel so welcome and comfortable. It felt like home and I would have loved to move in to this beautiful house permanently and join in the daily routine of a swim in the harbour and surrounding bays. We will be back - next time for longer, to feed our souls once again. Thank you.

The restaurant unfortunately was closed (off season, it currently only opens at weekends), but the breakfast menu was good & the quality, as was the cooking, excellent. Location was good & the situation of the hotel with its views were wonderful. My wife had spilt orange juice on her coat during the drive there & when casually mentioned this to the reception staff, was immediately met with the offer to wash it. She had it returned in a couple of hours ! Concern for guest satisfaction was very evident & delivered upon in a very efficient & friendly way.

The staff are exceptional. From the minute Suzanne greeted us at reception & at every point of contact, The Harbour Hotel was superb. Aaron Janes who owns the hotel and is the Head Chef is an INCREDIBLE chef AND he's actually in the kitchen cooking for breakfast, lunch & dinner!! He's also a past winner of Chef of The Year Cornwall!!! All 6 rooms have balconies overlooking the harbour - we saw a seal in the harbour every morning whilst having breakfast too :-)

Extremely friendly and helpful staff... Came in early to cook breakfast as we needed to get to the airport. Couldn't have been more helpful. Engaging, witty, caring, jovial. Top draw team. Hotel has truly amazing views and is in a terrific location. Food in the restaurant was excellent and we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Being 187cm tall I always struggle with a bed with a foot 'board' when trying to sleep. Parking was a bit tricky outside.

What a fabulous night's stay - so wish it could have been for longer. Stunning views with a balcony overlooking the harbour in every room. Staff were brilliant. Food sensational. Loved it. Steps from the hotel lead directly to the beach (low tide) or into the water (high tide). It's small, slightly quirky but so good.

Such an amazing stay! From the second we got there we were greeted by such lovely staff! They went above and beyond for us. The room and the view were also amazing! Thank you so much again, I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Also the location is great, we parked our cars up in the car park for £16 for a week and could walk/ bus to everywhere else:)

the location and the food were wonderful

The fact that we had no towels in our room on the TUESDAY 2ND DAY we were supplied with them within 15mins. however when the same thing happened on Wednesday and it took 3hours to provide two bath towels (still no hand towels} very poor breakdown in the hotel service. They need to check daily the room service this is not a cheap hotel and with six rooms no excuse.

The fact that Booking .com did not pay the hotel and I was asked every morning about not releasing the money I paid months in advance to you, the owners were very understanding. they could not contact Booking . com after continuously trying this does not reflect well on your business methods

the staff were so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. It was wry clean and tidy. the dove room has a spa bath which was lovely. the views were absolutely amazing over Newquay harbour and we watched the sun rise which was amazing. breakfast was lovely and on our last morning Aaron made us something before we left as it was before usual breakfast times. it’s in a great location m, handy for town or Fistral beach.
