the only exit for cars means going round a major roundabout every time. lack of EV AC Charging was disappointing as the local alternatives were all out of action leaving only fast charging sites that were not suitable for hybrid cars. I am not a blue badge holder but i do make a point to check disabled spaces there are four at this hotel on the nights i stayed only two of the spaces had a blue badge the other spaces were taken by commercial vehicles. i am surprised the hotel did not prevent this.

The friendliness and helpfulness of staff from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Loved that you provided good quality shampoo and shower gel. Loved that we had interconnecting door so that our autistic daughter was able to have her own space yet feel she could be close to us. Breakfasts were great too, paper bags were available so my daughter, who finds crowded spaces difficult, was able to have a croissant in her room for breakfast and have a stress free start to the day, which made it easier for her to deal with being somewhere different and out of normal routine. Thankyou so much.

Found air-conditioning confusing to control, but that's probably me being old! We turned it off anyway lol.

Lovely clean hotel rooms with towels and beautiful smelling toiletries supplied. Big spacious rooms and the bed was huge! Very tasty breakfast in the morning with full supply of everything they have to offer.

In our opinion the mattress was very firm which we don't like, we prefer softer mattresses, but that's everyone's personal opinion. We booked 2 rooms as we had two couples, the second room we booked the shower in the bathroom made a constant gurgling sound which never stopped and could be heard continuously throughout the night which then created disturbed sleep.

Room was on ground floor, window facing the parking lot, thought I would hear a lot of noise but no it was quiet, except for the odd motorbike going along the road but they are always noisy. Room was clean, everything we required was there. Good price. It was just a stopover for us to go to Cornwall. I would stay here again if in the area. I would recommend it. There is a Restaurant next door and the food was good and

The AC was a bit noisy, had to turn off, lucky it was not too warm so was not required. Not greatly noisy, I am one of those people that pick up background noises and can't sleep.

Close to family easy to get to

I book a down stars room with extra big bed bit ended up with just a normal size double bed on the first floor our room was booked well invariance as it was for 3 days over Christmas I had an email confirmation back say all booked the staff tired to find us a room but hotel was full so we cut our stay short losing a night when I checked out and told them we are checking out a day early not a word to ask if anything was wrong they really didn't care less

We were given a warm welcome at Reception when we arrived. The first thing I noticed was how smart and clean everything was, it even smelled nice. We were given a ground floor room which was ideal because of mobility issues. The bathroom was spacious and bright and included a walk in power shower with complimentary toiletries. The towels, bathmat and bedlinen was spotlessly clean and the beds were lovely and comfortable. The room had everything we needed to be comfortable. Next morning we went along for breakfast and noticed that there was such a good choice of food. We chose hot food and it was all cooked to a good standard and well presented.

A little bit noisy, but this is understandable; as the Hotel is situated on a busy road; and we had the window open a little for fresh air.

Located near to where I needed to be, clean, tidy, breakfast was actually quite tasty with a good selection of food and drink. Dog friendly- gave me a dog bag for both my dogs with a ball, treats and poo bags in which I thought was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and made a fuss of the dogs. Although close to a road- couldn’t hear the traffic and thought I would notice as I live in remote Scotland so not used to it, but genuinely couldn’t hear it. Close to Birmingham , The Black country and the motor way for easy access to doing things if you want to. Would def stay here again.

My daughter really enjoyed the breakfast. I was pleased to see the huge range of foods including a children’s section and free from bread. Beds were mega comfy - extra cushions would have been a bonus. Ladies on reception were awesome, very friendly and one in particular offered lots of advice about the area.

A better vegetarian option, or something to say that they could make something veggie friendly would have been nice. windows need attention as they didn’t close tightly and we could hear everything from outside.That said, we still slept well.

The hotel situated in convenient location for us , a lot of parking spaces, checking in process very quick. Our room clean and tidy, had everything we could possibly need including a small ironing board and iron, hairdryer, towels, shampoo, etc. Also a kettle, coffee and tea in the room. Very nice breakfast with large variety of food choices, not many fruits only. Overall very nice stay and I will definitely book it again in the future. Thank you

There was nothing to complain about.

We stayed at this hotel to break a journey between Hampshire and Tyne and Wear. For a great price, we were able to book a disabled access room including breakfast. We were greeted by friendly Reception staff & we were provided with a goodie bag for our dog containing a ball, 2 treats & 2 waste bags, which was a nice touch. Check in was fast & efficient. Our room was large (wheelchair accessible, although we didn't need that ourselves) with a comfy bed & walk in shower room. Lots of little extras in the room like iron & ironing board, hairdryer, shower gel & shampoo. The room temperature was perfect & although next to a busy roundabout, the room wasn't noisy at all. We had a drink in the bar during the evening which was served by friendly staff. Breakfast the next morning was lovely & there was plenty of choice between cooked & continental items. Staff were very helpful when we came to the restaurant. We had to sit in the bar area because of having our dog with us, & all tables in the bar were occupied but one of the staff helped find us a space swiftly. I'm currently on crutches and was approached by another staff member who offered to help me get my breakfast - again, a small touch but much appreciated. Check out was fast & efficient. We do this trip North to South & vice versa quite regularly & have never stayed in this hotel before, however we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again & would highly recommend it to others too.
