Breakfast was good with a very efficient service by the staff. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room was clean as was the bathroom.

The shower in my room had no water pressure, and was barely a trickle. Being on the top floor you do not expect a lot of flow, but this was not enough to have a shower. This was strange as the wash basin taps worked fine.

Very friendly staff. The room was very well presented and well laid out. The bathroom was also a decent size. I found it just right for a solo visitor. Breakfast was fine, with very attentive staff. Ideal location, not far from the railway station and local shops. A few minutes walking distance to the sea front.

Friendly welcome on registering car for parking on arrival earlier than check in which was a bonus. Staff friendly and smiley on check in. Rooms clean and well stocked for tea and coffee which was needed after a long day walking. Shower was newly refurbished, with lots of hot water and ensuite spacious for a single room. Beautiful soft, new towels, lovely quality toilet paper, with lots of shower gel and soap at basin. Room aired nicely with window open, but warmed up quickly on turning on radiator after closing window. Evening entertainment was a singer and comedian and highly amusing as well as quite professional voice. Comfortable bed with two pillows of differing thickness ensured a good nights sleep. Huge variety of breakfast available and table service quick and efficient in two sittings. Would certainly use again for another stay.

Intend to use the swimming pool next time as forgot my gear this visit. Looked lovely and suitably warm water.

We had to swap rooms during our stay as they didn’t have the same room free for the duration of our stay. Was advised we were being ‘upgraded’ on the phone , but when we moved rooms, the room we went into was right next to the lift meaning we could hear it late into the night and the room and decor was in need of a little TLC. I noticed some repairs were done while we were out for the day, but the only upgrade we could see was the double bed. Saying that it didn’t take away from our stay, as our initial impressions remained. We will definitely stay again!

The breakfast was all served to the table and the choice was plentiful. The location of the hotel is not on the seafront but a short easy walk.The staff are all very helpful and friendly. My bathroom was quite big and looked fresh and new! Lovely hot shower.

The bedroom furniture had seen better days and the bed was very old and had water marks and scuffs along the bottom. It put me off initially but I chose not to look at it. The mattress had no padding and I had a bad back after the first night. The second night I asked for pillows to go behind my back. It worked! Room 405. The bathroom is lovely and new.

On numerous occasions, I have travelled from London to the Queens hotel for work and can speak very highly of the service. In particular, the staff are exceptional. When I have arrived late from train delays, they have gone the extra effort to serve me dinner even when the kitchen was closed, or help me check in despite reception being closed. Every staff member I have spoken to are extremely warm and friendly and some have even remembered my face and asked me how work was going, which was really sweet. Location is great as it’s a 5 minute walk from the station, and not far from local amenities. They have a well organised restaurant that has a pleasant atmosphere with nice food, clean rooms with all the necessary facilities and even a pool.

Really have nothing to fault. Water pressure wasn’t strong in one of the rooms I stayed in but hadn’t noticed that on other visits and might’ve just been due to the high volume of guests.

The staff are super friendly. Rooms were very clean and everything you need. Breakfast was amazing with once again the most friendly staff. There was evening entertainment and the bar was open till late. My daughter and I enjoyed playing pool listing to the live singer.

The hotel its self is starting to wear a little. Our room was next to the door for the stairs and each time someone went through the door it banged waking us up. The car park is very small I had been before so got there early but when I returned cars had doubled parked.

We both loved the hotel and the staff were very helpful and polite. We had paid for the breakfast included and we enjoyed that every morning as it was delicious everytime! The hotel is only round the road from the beach and the pier so it was easy and enjoyable as we didn't have to walk ages to get to the beach and the town is also very close by. 10/10 and will definitely be coming back to have another holiday at this hotel and location.

Great stay here. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice and as I came in off-season there was no designated time slots which others had written about; also as it was quiet I had the pool to myself twice which was amazing and plenty of space in car park. Bar area was also very inviting. Great location near town and beach etc. Lovely single room. I had a great stay here. Would recommend.

Bizarrely when I came down for breakfast on the first day I arrived at the same time as a young couple and despite the restaurant being ginormous they sat me right beside them. We were the only ones there so I was pretty much on top of their conversation which was awkward for all of us as they felt they couldn't particularly speak and I didn't really want to be part of their chat but almost didn't have an option. Letting people choose their seats would be better or at least have one table in between. And I don't mind background music at breakfast but the hotel had the radio on with all the usual tosh that comes with that which was very invasive. Separately the shower was very weak. Apart from these comments I actually loved my stay here.

My stay was B&B the bed was comfortable and breakfast was adequate for my small appetite. My room location was on the first floor so easily reachable by the stairs. The hotel location couldn't be better.

Not much. A small and do-able improvement to my single room would have been the provision of a dining chair rather than the simple stool.
