Location and friendly staff. Good with an en-suite bathroom for the Master bedroom. Spacious lounge and comfortable sofas that could be moved to suit family time with and without watching telly.

Lack of kitchen equipment for 4 persons - we had to wash-up after every meal so that we had cutlery for the next - basic cooking equipment was in short supply. Note that only the hot tub part of the terrace is screened off and has some privacy whereas the rest of the terrace is fully open to view. Also, leading off from the master bedroom is a small dressing room with a small window high up on the wall. This window has no curtain and ensures FULL and BRIGHT daylight in the master bedroom at the crack of dawn. Not an issue if you are a deep and sound sleeper and a major one if you are not. Hot tip - put one of the pillows in the window frame to block the morning light as there is a perfect fit pillow-to-window. However we would know....

Good Location, close to Knockhatch Park, Drusilla's, Eastbourne and lots of points of interest. Great hot tub, secure gate, cosy lodge, spacious rooms, fridge freezer, microwave, TV's, everything was easy and organised. Nice but nothing special.

I wish the lodge had air con, or at least fans to cool it down. The lack of toilet paper and bin bags was also annoying and as the site is almost always unmanned we had to go out and source these ourselves. Our Lodge (number 3) could definitely use a lick of paint (scratches and dents all over the walls) also lots and lots of dust high up in the kitchen with numerous dead bugs caught in spiders webs. The TV is horrendously slow as well. Poor phone signal. The beds and pillows aren't comfy. The Lodge rules are no music after 10pm but other Lodges weren't obeying to this rule but nobody on site to enforce it. The site is boring, no entertainment. Do not book here if you aren't going to spend days out, it'll be a snoozefest.

This was our third visit to Warren Wood and it will not be our last. The lodges are very well equipped. The beds are extremely comfortable with good quality bed linen. The lodges are warm and in a lovely, quiet location. The hot tubs are a great bonus. Upon arrival the lodges are equipped with complimentary tea/coffee/milk and sugar. They also supply washing up liquids and t. towels as well as dishwasher tablets (a great starter kit)! Some of the lodges are situated around a large pond. The lodges are located approximately 14 minute drive from Eastbourne. We hope to be returning very soon! :)

The lodge was well equipped and furnished, spacious, warm, clean and comfortable, excellent hot tub, private and peaceful, excellent value for money. I will recommend and would return.

10am check out is too early. Most places are 11pm so we chose to pay an extra £25 for the late checkout. The ensuite shower mixer didn't work so the water was scorching hot, but to be fair we didn't report it. We were only staying 2 nights and we had the option of the shower attachment in the main bathroom so it was fine. Other than these minor things our stay was fantastic!

The property exceeded my expectations. The king size(?) bed in the main bedroom was a dream, so comfy, clean and HUGE!! Except for the bed - my husband still talks about the size of the shower cubicle. It was a two bedroom unit which we had to ourselves (my son and his friend couldn’t make it), not that we complaining! The kitchen had everything I needed to make breakfast or other meals. Pity we couldn’t use the hot tub, because we came too late from the Love Supreme Festival (25min away). The place is secure, quiet and we had a lakeside view. Definitely a place to relax at after a busy day out.

Beautiful quiet setting, we saw and heard nobody while we were there which is perfect for us. We wanted somewhere that would be accessible to Eastbourne which wasn't a hotel and this cabin was just perfect. Gorgeous interior, lovely area (the garden center next door is to die for!), beautiful beds and a hot tub!

We stayed in Lodge 1 which seemed to have a wasp nest close by (we presumed this was in a tree above the lodge). On our last day there was a huge amount of them. We appreciate we are in the countryside but needs to be checked out as it can be preventable.

The park is very peaceful and the grounds are well maintained. Lodge was very clean and spacious and had everything needed. Great hot tub. Nice garden centre next door.

The step into the lodge is quite high. The decking needs some maintenance. Outside furniture not very comfortable, could do with some cushions which would resolve this. The kitchen door has been hung the wrong side and swings into the kitchen area which was a tad irritating. The twin beds are fine for children but rather small for adults.

Clean, spacious and stunning location. The hot tub was lovely, even in the colder weather. Felt chilled and relaxed which is what we wanted. Would 10000% return.

Hot tub lights did not work and fireplace did not work. We did not raise that as was not an issue during our stay, I’m sure it would have been rectified instantly if we had! Would recommend securing the fence around the rear of the property as a persons dog was able to walk onto our decking and urinate against our chairs whilst we were in the hot tub.

What a perfect place for a large family celebration, we fit 9 of us in 2 cabins with loads of space, enough bathrooms and everything we needed for a long weekend together. It was a perfect location for the places we had planned to visit with Drusillas and Alfriston just a short drive away. The park is stunning, the views of the lake are wonderful, the outside space is great and overall a very quiet place to relax. The large garden centre next to the park was ideal for supplies and a nice place to grab breakfast or coffee etc. We cannot wait to return.

There was nothing we did not like, the only bit of feedback I would add is to define the parking spaces somehow, as there were many cars that had parked taking up lots of space meaning there was then limited parking available.

The lodge itself was beautiful, we were in Lodge 7 which was a perfect spot as was out of the way and private. Interior was spotlessly clean, modern and well looked after with bedding, towels and a well-equipped kitchen. It was plenty spacious for 3 adults and everything needed in terms of beds, 2 bathrooms, kitchen/dining/living area. Location is great, about a 10 minute drive to Eastbourne and again about 10 minutes from Polegate so plenty of dinner options and places to visit. The park itself is peaceful and quiet, lots of wildlife nearby which makes for a beautiful backdrop and noise.

I’m pretty sure our hot tub wasn’t working properly, the jets just never turned on or were very very weak. However admittedly we did not bring this up with any staff as we were only there for 2 nights and didn’t feel worth bothering anyone. We could still enjoy the warm water. Personally, I was genuinely a little scared reading the reviews about the £150 holding charge and all the rules. I was sent a message a couple of days before to send my email to be sent a link to pay the £150. I did feel this was a little blunt and not very professional or welcoming. I’m not sure what other ways you could pay this charge but it came across quite rude, just a bit of feedback that’s all.
