Perfect location on Rye High Street, staff were very welcoming and allowed us to check-in early as room was ready. Large room comfy bed and pillows. Great night sleep and really good breakfast. You get to choose from the restaurant brunch menu that the rooms are above. All in all a great experience

Nothing all good

Breakfast was AMAZING - delicious eggs benedict and a hot drink and smoothies/juice also included. Really cute restaurant with modern finishes and plenty of space. The room was well decorated, the bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and everything worked as it should.

Faultless stay.

Really easy check in and check out process. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the main street and a short walk to the train. Breakfast was delicious and served very quickly. Nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. Lovely toiletries and fresh towels each day.

The half an hour window to have breakfast (9:00 - 9:30am) before having to queue for a table (when cafe opened to the public) was at odds with a relaxing stay. The small window means you can’t sleep in if you want to be guaranteed a table at breakfast without a wait. The room was very hot and only a small noisy fan was provided. A large and modern fan, or air-conditioning is needed. Given the heat, we had to open the windows to sleep and it was very noisy (as expected on a main street). Do not recommend the basic room (which is street facing) for light sleepers. Mattress and pillows not great quality.

The room was lovely, very clean and a good size. It was kept well stocked and in order by daily housekeeping. Breakfast was *incredible* and every single thing we tried from the menu was delicious, coffee was great, the smoothies were lovely and it was all round such a nice way to start the day. Staff were lovely and very helpful whenever we had questions. The room was above a cafe/restaurant so we were a bit worried about noise but the room came helpfully stocked with earplugs and noise was over by 10pm so it really wasn't an issue.

The only thing I would change is that it would have been great to be given two sets of keys as because there was no latch/slam-lock on the door, it meant if one of us went out without the other you'd either have to lock the other person in or leave the room completely unlocked which wasn't ideal

Beautiful rooms, felt so cosy and had lots of little extra touches that made it really enjoyable to spend time in the room. Breakfast was exceptional and so handy having what we thought was the nicest cafe in Rye just downstairs! Great location too

We were there during a quiet period, although I suspect during the busy season the room might get quite noisy (we were in the Boho room which is on the road side) so something to consider (although The Fig provided earplugs which was a nice touch).

The location is excellent and whilst there is no car park it was easy to park nearby. The Fig is a little quirky . We enjoyed the room with its splendid bath . The evening meal with the shared plates was fun. The food was delicious with interesting flavour combinations. All served efficiently . Breakfast where we could choose from the daily breakfast menu was great. We were greeted with a friendly smile and dealt with in a courteous manner.

This is just our opinion and I'm sure others would disagree but we thought there were far too many houseplants in the bathroom . They could do with some TLC and basically get in the way ! Our table for dinner could have done with a candle /a little more light .It would have made the evening more enjoyable.

Great location above The Fig cafe/restaurant at the end of the high street. A short walk to a car park nearby (pay and display c£5 for 24 hours). Staff are so lovely and the breakfast in the cafe was off their main brunch menu so a great way to sample the food. We also had dinner there one evening which we enjoyed but probably didn’t need to having stayed 2 nights and there are lots of great restaurants in Rye.

Bed was a standard double. Mattress was ok but not the best. Lighting wasn’t great - too dark. Bathroom had a shower only, no extractor fan or windows so ventilation could have been improved upon.

I stayed with my sister and we both loved the delicious breakfasts at The Fig restaurant downstairs, with lovely friendly service from the male waiter we had there both days. Thanks to The Fig team for the warm welcome! The rooms were nicely kept and a great size, and we liked that each had its own 'theme' and interior decor. The location is great - wonderfully central in Rye with tons of gorgeous shops and restaurants on the doorstep.

My room could have been cleaner (a hair or two in the shower and I found an old quaver crisp under the bed!) so a closer eye when cleaning would be great to get the rooms to their full potential. There was also some ambient noise in my room from passers-by on the street as I was front facing, and this woke me up a couple of times in the night.

The location in beautiful Rye is exceptional. A listed building with a handful of beautifully decorated rooms. The restaurant on the ground floor serves a delicious breakfast. Dinner is also available which we tried one evening and that was also so delicious. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Absolutely nothing.

The location was great, right on the High St. Parking might be an issue at busier times of year. I loved the minimal hassle. Showed up, signed in, got keys, job done. The facilities in the room were good and we liked the decor. breakfast was off-the-clock delicious and we liked the vibe of the cafe and the town.

The room is described as having 'A Garden View'. That is literally correct , there just isn't much of a garden, which meant we could basically see the bins out the back. Having said that, we did go in January so.....Probably significantly better at any other time of year.
