The room was great and the staff were first class, cannot rate them highly enougth.

The car parking arrangements are really bad, having to sort out and online app ourselves and the arrangements for a second day unclear, why cab you not book two days?

The location in an historical building sets the mood and is quite strategic for both walking into town for a meal, as well as to visiting the old town and Stirling Castle. Whilst grateful for what may have been an 'upgrade' to a superior and larger room (with a huge bathroom), unfortunately this room could easily do with some updates and overall set-up. No meals taken.

Additional paying for parking within the own hotel private grounds should have been waived for hotel guests.

The location for the castle was very good, only approx a 10 minute walk, and plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from, again all easy to walk to. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. Parking on site was very useful.

The downstairs areas were good but the room was a little tired (room 112), it was disappointing to see a threadbare carpet and the walls were a bit knocked about from general use, it could do with a freshen up. The car park was useful, but be aware that you must pay for your parking within 15 minutes of arrival via the App on the signs outside.

The location was good and the room was spacious and comfortable.

Shower over a high bath

The location was great, literally at the bottom of Stirling Castle which was excellent for us as we were attending a wedding there. The breakfast was lovely but we did have to wait quite a bit of time for it. Having said that, the staff knew they were under a bit of pressure and gave us free lattes from the bar which was appreciated. Our room was small but perfectly comfortable and the bathroom was big with a lovely big bath! Would defo stay here again and happy to recommend.

Our only tiny complaint was the waiting time for breakfast but we were in no rush, just hungry lol

The hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations. We even ended up extending our stay for two extra nights. The room was huge (we booked a deluxe king bedroom), with a super comfy king bed and a big bathroom with all amenities. The breakfast was a full Scottish (self-serve) breakfast with tons of options. The staff were amazing and incredibly attentive! They helped my boyfriend set up a birthday surprise for me and were incredibly accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay. We will be visiting again without a doubt.

Beautiful view very comfortable. Staff from Reception to cleaning staff particularly helpful kind and helpful particularly with everything from getting to knowing my needs particularly since I had a broken leg. I look forward to returning

Where to begin. The chairs and tables both inside and outside very comfortable clean and available outside both front and back. My room was clean and a most comfortable bed. Bathroom large with everything including comfortable for my status of a broken leg. I have forgotten to mention the outside staff

Location and breakfast was excellent

We had no tv controllers in either rooms the first night and the young lady on reception when we checked in showed no interest in resolving the issue. The bartender came to our room and showed us how to manually use tv. Second day the receptionist was very helpful and said she would look into it and she personally fixed the problem and let us know it was resolved when she saw us coming in to the hotel. She had dark hair and might be called McKenzie ?? But super helpful unlike the blonde younger receptionist.

The location in the Old Town is perfect with the Castle just up the (steep!) hill and there are lots of nice places to eat very nearby. Although the hotel doesn't offer dinner, the breakfast was very nice. Special mention must be made regarding the staff who were all very helpful, especially Rio behind the bar.

The hotel is looking a bit jaded especially our room which could do with an upgrade. The curtains were all frayed and the bed rock hard. It's a shame, as it obviously had been a lovely hotel in the past. We didn't have a car with us but beware the parking fees are quite hefty compared to most city centre hotels

The hotel is beautiful outside and in. Such a great location, right in the center so if you are looking to explore this is ideal. The main entrance when you walk in is really modern and looks like a nice place to sit and have a few drinks as there is a bar there too! The room we stayed in was a great size with loads of light through the windows. The bathroom was huge and the shower was amazing! Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Would 100% book again! LOVE that is it four legged friendly with treats at the main door and a water bowl for our furry friends. Nice touch!

The price of the parking was a bit steep. We didn't receive our email which informed us of the £15 charge to park your car in their car park until after we had stayed so it did come as a bit of a surprise when I saw the price. I expect that most city hotels will charge you to park in their car park but £15 for 24hrs is crazy not to mention the 30p they add on as a fee. the room could have been a little cleaner but nothing to drastic. There was a huge stain on the curtain which didn't look very nice and a small spillage down one of the walls but apart from that everything else was gleaming. Bathroom was very clean.
