Checking in is efficient, code sent to outside lock box which is very handy! The rooms are modern, stylishly decorated and cosy. The bathrooms are well lit and have come with a well lit mirror which is great especially if trying to get ready to go out. The lighting overall is spot on. I’ve often found in other hotels bedside lights far too bright or fiddly lighting switches where you either switch the whole room lighting off or can’t isolate just one switch! The attention to detail to the things which matter is what makes this hotel great! You can wake up and make a lovely coffee with the coffee machine or hot chocolate, If you are planning a meal downstairs, the food is delicious and the ambiance again in the bar/ restaurant is lovely. We visited once when there was a piano player by the bar who was fantastic. Love this hotel for location also, it’s right next to bus links and if you need to get to the station. Fabulous hotel! Nothing. Couldn’t think of a fault

There was a much needed fan in the room especially with the very hot weather we’ve just had this weekend so was a welcome surprise to have one in the room to cool us down at night. Thank you! Breakfast payed for when booking was perfect for our needs as there was a really lovely breakfast hamper on both nights delivered to the room for the following morning and had a very nice selection of items for us to choose from. Room was clean and tidy, comfortable, nice and spacious, getting in to the property and room was simple on a self check in process with codes sent prior to checking in. We didn’t need to ask anyone but if we did there were numbers to call and staff around as we checked in about 1630. A last minute a late check out was also organised for us which was perfect. Thank you to all.

Nothing was happy with everything.

The property was well situated for me to visit my father. The property was exceptionally clean, a very easy check in and check out process and centrally located to the Town centre. We couldn’t have been better located. The garden was a pleasure to sit in, most relaxing whilst soaking up the sun. The staff were really helpful to me as I was one week into a twelve week recovery from surgery and nothing was too much trouble for them to assist me. I would recommend this establishment to all people.

The room was stylish, clean and comfortable, looks like it has been newly decorated, excellent shower and comfortable bed, fan provided which was very effective. Great central location.

The breakfast was provided in a basket delivered to your room the evening before, was ok, but would have preferred cooked breakfast in pub.

That there was no cooked breakfast option, which was a little disappointing. However I enjoyed the basket of breakfast items. The little touches of Napresso coffee machine, I loved. Also staff extremely friendly and catered for my every need and even helped carry my case up the stairs, due to me using crutches.

The breakfast was excellent value for money, bedroom facilities were clean and comfortable with tea and coffee available in the room. Hotel was in the centre of Wallingford so we were able to enjoy local walks along the Thames Path, go shopping and enjoy meals out easily.

An extremely warm welcome from owners. On arrival we had drinks in the garden after our day of walking The Ridgeway trail. Lovely spot. Rooms recently refurbished and extremely comfortable. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the menu looked delicious and the restaurant was very popular

the door code is listed on our welcome letter - but they show two codes and they are a digit different so of course the main code which we sued didnt work - just frustrating - especially if we had arrived very late. Prefer a proper breakfast :)

Beautifully decorated room with thoughtful touches including tea, coffee and biscuits as well as a fan to help keep the room cool.

There did not appear to be any staff on site, which made it impossible to pay! Had to play phone tag to finalize payment two days later.
