It’s been5yrs since we stayed at the Prestonand it was under new management, so we were pleasantly surprised by the way the hotel had been re decorated completely the rooms were excellent the manageress remembered us from our last stay and made us very welcome. Because I suffer from Long Covid with breathing difficulties she changed our room to a first floor one which was better for me less stairs to climb!! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be using it again in the future Mr ana Mrs Downes

The family room was great, very spacious, clean and provided everything that we needed. Also, considering it was a converted attic room, there was a lot of natural light.

It was very warm in the room even with the air conditioning on but I guess with it being at the top of the house, it had probably trapped all the daytime heat. The only real issue we had was that because the hotel reception was shut on the day we stayed (Sunday), there was no staff onsite and when we had an issue with the television and called the number given to require help, no one answered the call.

The receptionist, Lewis, was very polite and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy, as you would expect, although it could do with a bit of t.l.c. especially in the bathroom. I was able to park my car right outside my room. Breakfast was good, although I think that the toast was only quickly shown the toaster!

In the bathroom there was no shelf to put my toiletries, nor any hooks for my clothes. Evening time there were only bar snacks, which consisted of mainly chicken strips in various coatings, the accompanying 'salad' was put on the same baking hot plate. The bed was very creaky.

The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. It was a really good size with a nice powerful shower. It was really nice to have a selection of hot drinks, bottles of water and some biscuits in the room. The member of staff on reception was friendly and helpful. It was nice to feel so comfortable in a very reasonable priced non branded hotel. Very highly recommended, will definitely book again here next time I'm over this way.

The room was too warm and with nobody on reception I couldn't find any help. But the windows opened so was able to sort it.

Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, working tv's and fan in rooms. Twin room had fridge and bath (double room didn't have fridge but had shower). Good range of hot drinks and bottles of still water available. Chalet style so ground floor accessible perfect for those with mobility issues. Free parking Easy self check in for arriving after 8pm Easy location to reach - and great access for Yeovil Hospital.

Would have prefered a breakfast option - but we knew before we booked.

We stayed in the chalet out the back. It was quiet here and the double glazing meant we didnt hear the party at all in the main building. Very clean and modern decor. Bar and car park on site. Not too far from town centre. About a 20 minute walk. Key drop meant leaving in the morning was easy.

The water pressure for the shower was very poor. More of a trickle. Strange since the water pressure for the bathroom tap was fine. Just be aware of this if you are in the chalet out the back. My sister and parents reported the same in their rooms, also the chalets. Car park entrance is very narrow so be careful entering and exiting the car park.

This was our third stay here and had the family room. It was lovely and up in the loft area, very quirky and so comfortable and spacious with a lovely tiny room in the dormer section to have your coffee.

The bathroom door was very hard to close so when anyone got up to use the bathroom they had to bang it and so woke me up.

Brilliant stay!. I was lucky to stay in one of the chalets behind the hotel, which had parking right outside. The room was large and had everything you needed. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom came with shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. Despite being on a main road, I heard no traffic noise.

Fantastic reception and made to feel welcome. A small issue with the TV remote as it may have been taken on holiday by the previous guest, however this issue was resolved by me moving room, no fuss, straight forward. Liked the covered patio area in front of the chalet. Nice and quiet stay, plenty of parking

Shame they weren't offering dinner, however there is a fantastic fish and chip restaurant 3 mins away by car.

Breakfast was fantastic. Full English was cooked to order and everything was spot on. Stayed in Chalets at back of hotel which were nicely decorated, had a double and single bed, bottled water and a small balcony out the front with table and chairs. Plenty of parking. Handy for shows at Westlands which is only 5 minutes walk away. Peter Andre even stayed here when he was doing a show at Westlands.

Couldn’t fault it.
