Arrived to a professional and welcoming receptionist Room was functional with everything you need It was very clean through out. The shower over bath was a plus with good pressure It was very quiet couldn't hear a thing More sound proof than travel lodge.so my sleep was amazing. Great price compared to premier inn at 136 pounds and a just across the road. My room cost 55 pounds. It's a no brainer definitely Would recommend this hotel compared on price your getting everything that you would get at a premier yet saving almost 100 pounds. I'll be returning on my next family visit

Location was great; right in town; close to everything. No onsite parking - but easy, close accessible parking at cinema complex (free between 6pm - 9am). Reasonably quiet (had a couple who got in late / left early who were noisy coming up stairs - again that's customer fault not hotel). Comfortable bed.

I came here to stay over with my girlfriend who has a wheelchair. I booked us for a standard double room. But when the person behind the desk saw her wheelchair he upgraded us to a bigger room and no extra charge. He was very helpful! The room was very roomy for my girlfriends wheelchair and the bed was extremely comfortable. It is very well priced and it's location is brilliant as its in the centre of town.

It was comfortable and clean. I loved that there was tea and things on the table and instructions about where things were, including the Internet password, which was a nice touch it was pretty quiet, so I got some sleep everyone seemed nice and I enjoyed my stay

The only thing I'd have to say I didn't like was the view outside my window it was just a tree and looked pretty dirty out there, and once I'd opened my window I couldn't close it and people started smoking out there but I'd say that's the only thing and that's not your fault it just happens

Delighted that my bathroom had a proper bathtub. Was able to relax in a nice warm bath in the morning :-) Made full use of the tea & coffee making facilities in my room Staff were very helpful in letting me arrive late at night after the reception desk had closed

The lighting in my room was a bit all-or-nothing...either a harsh overhead light, or two rather weak bedside lamps either side of the double bed. Some sort of side lamp at the table end of the room would have been helpful. The hotel was very well located, but the downside was that my ground floor room directly overlooked a main road, with consequent traffic noise and loss of privacy from passing pedestrians.

It was great for the town centre, reasonably priced and quiet. No intrusive traffic noise or disturbance from people out partying. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed

The en-suite would benefit from refit. The bath tub was chipped and decor tired but everything was clean and worked well. The parking was in the leisure park site opposite and was free because it was the weekend.

There were bath and shower gel and soap in the en suite bathroom plus two plastic cups for teeth cleaning. Staff very helpful. Great central location, very near to several eating establishments. Very clean. Parking nearby, free from 6pm Saturday evenings and all day Sundays.

Only one bath towel supplied for a couple staying. No instructions for the TV.

Cheap and cheerful, no thrills but value for money was excellent, comfortable and clean, all you need, and was about 50% cheaper than anything else in town, staff was really friendly and its in the town centre 10/15mins walk from pen mill train station. no complaints

The radiator did not come on so was a little chilly. And I was not impressed that the door was knocked loudly twice on the morning of leaving, firstly after 10am by cleaner (who apologised and said she will return later) and secondly, shortly after 10.30 am by 2 men, to ask if I was leaving (although it was stated that check out was by 11.00am!)

Been freshened up since the last time I stayed and looks so much better. Staff (I wish I had noted her name) were brilliant and very welcoming. Can’t believe it’s only 2-star!! Best value for money I’ve had in a long time and I travel for work quite a bit.
