Perched right at the edge of the sea on a rocky outcrop. The view is tremendous and the location was perfect for us — on Cane Bay halfway between Frederiksted and Christiansted it was an easy drive to both. The AMA restaurant (excellent with outdoor dining looking over the tidal pool and waves) on site was great for dinner and The Landing, our favorite restaurant (livelier atmosphere) was a short walk down the bay at Cane Bay Beach.

Restaurant menu was limited and no breakfast served. But we knew that beforehand and planned accordingly. We were very pleased with our stay.

The accommodations were comfortable. The staff was good.

We were not able to eat in the restaurant. Accommodations are not made for the people that stay at the hotel.

The property was aesthetically pleasing. I love the ocean views from the balcony. The staff were welcoming and helping to all our needs . It was the peaceful vacation stay I was looking for . They have a restaurant right on their property The restaurant was amazing as well. We had to reserve for 2 nights being that It was very popular on the island .

My only dislike was no room service was available from the restaurant that’s located in there.

Just about everything! Great decor motif, great location, friendly & helpful staff and a balcony right on the waterfront such that we could hear the ocean at night. Simply amazing!

I guess if I had to pick something, it might be that noise from the next room over seemed to go right through the wall with little attenuation. However, the property’s “quiet hours” policy ensured there were no issues with noise while we were sleeping which was very nice.

The place was great, and the staff was Amazingly helpful and kind. Offered to take us to the grocery store upon checkin and provided some "personal items" that I needed unexpectedly. JUST AWESOME! Accuracy - The room we had unfortunately had a big concrete covering off of our balcony which blocked the view of the water a good bit, which for me is a SUPER BIG DEAL and Primary Priority for our trip, so that was a little disappointing. But the view was still nice, just not as nice as the pic showed, and I probably would not have booked had it been shown on the pics as is. But I enjoyed the amazing view and my stay nonetheless! :) However, if this is a concern dor you, you may want to request explicitly one of the rooms that does NOT have the concrete covering. One block of units did not have it the covering. Location- the views and location on the water were AMAZING! One caveat, however, if you are not driving, grocery is a bit away, not walking distance, So grocery shop to cook and gather "adult beverages", etc accordingly. LOVED THE PLACE! Would stay again for sure! (With a car and a unit without the concrete covering off the balcony) :-)

The location in Cane Bay with short walk to a few bars and a couple places to eat. The on site restaurant, AMA, was a delight. The Waves is also located between the two cities of Frederiksted and Christiansted.

The guests staying above were overly loud a couple of the nights. The on site manager was finally able to make contact with them to quiet down. The staff tried.

Location and the view from the room were simply stunning. When you stay you MUST have a meal at Ama. It, too, is amazing, both service and food.

You really need a car to stay here. A path to the beach and restaurants that didn't go along the (very narrow) shoulder of the road would be terrific.

A gorgeous hotel in a perfect location away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to the beach, restaurants, and town. Communication with the staff was easy - I got a text before our check-in and several follow-ups to make sure everything was satisfactory with our stay.

Unfortunately, by chance, the restaurant was closed during our stay.

great design, very private, oceanfront, kitchenette and location was about equidistance to get to major sites on the island

restaurant not open for breakfast and also was very difficult to even get one reservation for dinner during our week stay, no priority for guests, so plan ahead (worth it, but very hard to be spontaneous). cleaning staff were not friendly at all, be sure to get out of the room by 11 or no service.

There was no breakfast. Would have been nice to have a breakfast option.

Chairs were not really comfortable. Staff was helpful but not warm or welcoming.
