First room they booked us into was only one bed but the manager very graciously rebooked us into a room with 2 double beds. I’ve machine was broken but he very graciously went across the street and bought us a bag of ice

It is an older, remodeled property but not recently enough. Electric wall plugs are few and inconvenient. Coffee pot is on the desk but must be carried to the bathroom vanity to plug in for morning coffee. Didn’t get up in time for 9:00 breakfast deadline so no opinion on that

I like the convenience and location. I stay in the same room every year because most of the time I have a dog with me. Perfect little room for one person and I feel very safe. It’s always neat and clean. The front desk staff is very friendly.

The shower head could be replaced. I think the water contributes to the mineral buildup. Toilet paper is one-ply. I noticed mold starting to build in the bathroom.

I had previously stayed at Trailside and found it wanting. Not so this time. The employees were helpful and friendly. Everything in the room was working and clean. It was obvious that a lot of effort had gone into making the rooms nicer. The breakfast was outstanding with limited, but top-notch, choices. Loved the breakfast sandwiches and burritos, as well as the gravy and biscuits!

Although it's usually cool in Alturas, there were times a little A/C would have been appreciated.

The staff and the people were great. The location was good. Wish it had a pool was dog, friendly no parking.

No parking and a lot of people smoking on the balcony that’s not the hotels fault wish they weren’t there. Wish they didn’t take up parking.

We were greeted warmly by Kevin, our room was ready & clean, well-supplied with the essentials, & a comfortable bed. Location is in the middle of a walkable town.

The electrical outlets could have been better located. Not convenient for coffee maker; or charging multiple phones.

It was relatively clean and had a neutral smell. It felt secure and comfortable for a night's sleep. 24 hour check in was A+!

It was overly priced for what was offered (no conditioner!) but we were happy enough to take it when we were desperate.

My room was much cleaner than the big-name hotels I usually stay at, I really appreciated that.

I wouldn’t have minded a larger parking lot, but I know that’s not the hotel’s fault, sometimes there just isn’t available property to expand into.

This is an older motel in the center of Alturas. My room was spotless and just perfect for my little dog and me. There is a nice big fridge, a microwave, and a coffeemaker. It was very quiet. In the morning there is a complimentary breakfast offered at the office. Fresh fruit, pastries, cereals and coffee. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Maybe a radio. I don’t watch much TV.

Friendly staff and quick check in! Location is convenient to shopping and getting food. Definitely recommended! May get another room in the near future. Especially if I'm working late

The motel was clean and location was quiet. Much better than some brand chain hotels I stayed in. Breakfast was simple but filling. Well worth the money spent for a nights stay.
