We enjoyed the breakfast, and hotel and room is pretty clean and well maintained for the most part, it was great having a kitchenette style room and bigger fridge! Comfortable king mattress! great convenient location, close parking to entrance, and most of the staff were nice and helpful.

Sofa bed was definitely not comfortable to sleep in. We wouldn't recommend it or use it as a bed again, but truly use it just as a sofa. As such, it is comfortable to sit on etc. But once you turn it into a sofa bed, it is not springs, just a flimsy cot that sags a lot and makes loud noises with any single move. The shower water was a bit weak also, It would be nice if the shower head offered more than 1 setting to change to so that the water could come out a bit more abundantly vs weak and low pressure. Many linens and towels strongly smelled like bleach, which I noticed many hotels are like that these days. It's nice knowing that things are pretty well sanitized but it would be best and healthier if they are rinsed more thoroughly to better remove the excess bleach and smell.

The whole experience. It was great to be in a hotel where we (wife and I) don't have to worry about how clean and wonderful the room was. Always a pleasure to stay in Home2 Suites Carlsbad. My Son LOVES this hotel. Had a choice of Legoland Hotels or Home2 Suites...He chose Home2. It was his birthday weekend and we enjoyed every minute of it. Location is great, Breakfast is very good, Pool is awesome and kitchenette is outstanding to have in the room. TV was great with all the channels and Netflix. Kudos to the Staff and Front Desk Reps. Property is super clean. Rooms are open and spacious. Love that the rooms have mini fridges, microwaves and even a dishwasher. Tons of space for storage too which was a plus for us because we felt more organized. Breakfast is served complimentary every morning and they have a great selection. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio each morning. They have a nice pool, outdoor fire pit, grills and play area. We didn’t use any of those, but it was available.

The only thing I didn’t like was the elevator. It’s a 3 story building with 2 elevators that run SUPER slow and sound like they are on their last leg. Use the stairs at the end of the hall. It will be quicker.

This property and it's amenities were way more than I imagined we were getting!!!!!! Totally worth every penny! Loved the spacious rooms, accommodating amenities, luxurious added features!!

The breakfast was helpful for our family of 8. There were many choices to choose from but the taste was not so bueno. And the only other thing I could possibly say was that the people above our room (we were on the ground floor) were extremely loud. I'm pretty sure they were kids wrestling and running around- all weekend.

The breakfast had many more options than most hotels. It wasn’t spectacular, but there were sausage and scrambled eggs, some grab and go fruit,yogurt, juices, coffee,tea, cereals (grits or oatmeal, and cold). They also have 24/7 cofee, tea, and fruit infused water in the lobby. All staff members were very accommodating. The room had microwave, decent sized fridge, dishes/silverware/glasses and a dishwasher. Had a pull out table/desk, curtained off couch, nice soap and body wash dispensers in shower, good water pressure. Room was fairly quiet compared to other places I’ve stayed. Nice little gym and nice hot tub/pool.

All Hilton beds are a bit hard. Although this one had like a foam pad or something. Hubby thought bed was uncomfortable as well. I’ve slept in worse Hilton beds. The back of the couch was like leaning against a wooden board, but nothing a pillow off the bed couldn’t help. My biggest complaint would be the lighting. They could use a lit make up mirror! I really couldn’t see what I was doing very well. Location easy access from the freeway, but really nothing to walk to once there. It was pouring rain, so that didn’t matter for us that night. Took a very short drive to Oceanside and enjoyed an Italian meal at one of our favorite tiny go to places down there, Jay’s Gourmet.

The space is good, heated pool is awesome, bathroom is very clean, i need to give cleaning team a thumb up!! my son enjoyed the pool a lot. Room is good, big space. I took my son to legoland, even though we're living in LA, but I feel sometimes staying in a hotel is good to chill and bring my son some different experience from life.

The shower power is too weak.

The design and decoration in the room was very modern, nice, and clean. We loved the big open space and how everything was thoughtfully designed.

The folks above us had children that ran up and down and we found it loud and distracting. If there was better noise insulation it would have been a perfect stay for us.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I had an incident . The bed frame cut my leg because there was a plastic piece missing from the frame.OnceI alerted staff they remedied the problem and cleaned up the blood

The breakfast was not good. The food area was not organized. The sausage was being held in the case for the pastries. There also weren't enough service utensils. People were using their hands to grab stuff. I didn't go back after the first day

The room was very spacious. Loved the pull out bed and the curtain dividing the room. We called ahead and were able to check in at noon and get a room close to our family that was also staying (next time I will try to get adjoining rooms!). It’s so helpful to have a little kitchen in the room when traveling with kids. The free breakfast was great and the pool and gym were so nice. My family can’t to stay here again!

Wouldn’t change anything. Everything was great and more than expected.
