This place was very nice. Not only was my room nice and toasty from the cold but very clean and smelled nice and homely. The staff was very helpful and had lots of recommendations on all the hot spots. Washer and dryer on the site although I did not use, but saw just in case. Walking distance from a grocery store (holiday) across the street to many varieties of restaurants including a pizza spot and bar within a 8 min walk. Thrift stores, flower shop, and liquor store as well. Definitely staying here again and highly recommended.

This place does need some up keep and like all inns and hotels you do hear if elephants are above you, which was not that bad. Some caulking needed in the restroom, but you barely notice the cons of this place because of how good you feel while being here.

Everything was great! The staff was nice. The place was clean and had every amenity we needed including: larger fridge, microwave, coffee maker, coffee supplies, utensils & napkins, Kleenex, soaps and shampoos, hair dryer, multiple trash cans, usb charger, and even a welcome note! It was nice and warm inside when we arrived—which was great since it was 17 degrees outside. There was even a cute little electric fireplace to match the cozy cabin-themed decor. I would definitely stay here again.

Price was a little high but not terrible.

Room was large and exceptionally well maintained. Very much appreciated microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom was also large and great shower. Good parking. Nice selection of toileteries. Good wifi and amazingly good info on tv channels. Also nice to have a grocery just across the street. Good access to Lassen NP. Would definitely recommend if you stay in Chester. If you golf, play Bailey Creek.

Not their fault, but surprisingly few restaurants. Nearly no access to the lake in Chester. In fact lake access was very poor all around the lake. The motel was perfect, but not sure I would visit Chester again.

Location was convenient for exploring Lassen Volcanic National Park. There are food options within a few minutes walk/ drive of Antlers Motel as well as a great supermarket (with deli sandwiches!) right across the street. The Staff at Antlers was very friendly. The rooms were clean and as expected. Bathroom was spacious, and the shower and bath worked well.

There was only one bedside lamp for two beds; a lamp per bed would be nice. Not many sitting options other than beds - there was only one chair.

2 story motel w stairs to 2nd floor. Convenient location in Chester. Walking distance to some restaurants and market. We appreciated that our room was cool in temperature upon checking in probably since I told them when I would check in. We stayed in the 2 queen beds unit and they were comfy. Clean unit.

A little pricey. It was quiet at night but I could hear people talking loudly as early as 6am walking by outside. We didn't watch any TV as the channel was stuck and on 1 frame, but no big deal.

The room was very clean, and it was obvious the housekeeping staff took their jobs seriously. I appreciated there being plenty of towels, and pillows. It was also nice to have many satelite TV channels available. The front desk staff made every effort to answer my questions about hiking trails, etc. I was traveling with a therapy dog, and appreciated being able to walk him nearby to the Motel. I liked that there was a 'poo bag' stand nearby (tho I used my own bags) and a hose for me to top up my dog's water bowl in the car.

As previously discussed with Antlers' manager, I was put off by promotion on Booking.com site of Antlers Motel as having free cancellation. Once I'd booked, I was told there was in fact a 20% fee for changing or cancelling. This is clearly deceptive, and a problem. I have sensitive skin, and the sheets and towels had clearly been washed in something with a pervasive artificial scent. This is very common now, but is a problem for many people. A top I wore to bed still smells of artificial scent after being laundered at home. I strongly urge you to use detergent without perfumes or dyes. There was a small desk with chair, but faced the wall, so one couldn't eat while watching the TV, as many do. Would have been nice to have a small "TV tray" or small table to use for eating, etc.

The room as well as the bathroom were large and clean. The beds were comfortable. The building and the surroundings were well-kept. The manager was very friendly, and helpful. The grocery store was across the street, the restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

We stayed 2 nights, and wanted cleaning service during our visit. The bathroom was cleaned, but the beds were left unmade, and the cups and coffee pot were left unwashed.

We had a fantastic stay at Antlers Inn! The rooms were cozy, clean, and well-appointed, providing a perfect base for our trip. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was ideal, close to Lassen national park. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful surrounding nature. Highly recommend Antlers Inn for anyone visiting the area!

We stayed here one night when visiting Lassen NP. Chester is about 40 mins from the park, but everything closer was booked. That ended up being ok since Chester has restaurants, stores and gas. The room was updated, cozy, clean and despite the motel being fully book - quiet! It was well equipped with microwave, frig, coffee maker, good wifi and as an added bonus a little fireplace (which we didn't use). The owner(?) who checked us in was one of the nicest we had our whole trip. He gave us a great suggestion for dinner which was within walking distance!

I booked this as a last-minute stay while I was in the area. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I usually try to avoid motels as they can be noisier, but I didn’t hear anything all night at this place. I especially appreciated the regular coffee maker with 12 cup capacity, the REAL flatware and cloth napkins, the REAL coffee mugs, and the little chocolates left on the pillows. I would definitely book again were I in the area
