Decent location, short ride/bus/trolley to downtown Santa Monica or to downtown LA. OK breakfast, (only one flavor yogurt, pancakes, fruit, energy bars, cereal, no toast, tea/coffee/juice). There was little seating in the lobby. we took the stuff back to the room. Our room was in the back (x01, x02 stack) and was nice and quiet - except for the lead-foot upstairs, though they stopped early so we could get a good night's sleep. The parking exit was strange, took you down an alley to a side street.

Parking was extra, the bathroom faucet had a small leak. No USB ports. On-screen TV guide listed just the stations, not the programs, so you had to scroll through each station to see what was on and, even then, could not see what was next.

Nice comfy beds, great rooms, updated and with all usual standards like fridge, cable TV and coffee maker. A very nice touch was the complimentary breakfast (all items packaged except for pancakes, so many single use paper/plastic plates etc and a lot of trash) Breakfast staff was utmost friendly, helpful and attentive. Great service. Area felt safe and walkable to Trader Joe's /Wholefoods, restaurants. Good parking garage with two subterranean levels accessible by the elevator. In the evening you could still chill outside in the balcony.

Breakfast area is much too small for the number of guests. Parking was about 17.Dollar extra per night (which is an OK price for the area for parking but should be included)

No-nonsense room with everything one needs, I'd think. Very clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, great room maintenance, air conditioning, wi-fi. Coffee, tea, water for you in room. Few meters to bus stops for Metro busses and the BBB (Big Blue Bus) that provide reliable, save service to many parts of LA - really convenient. For example, with the bus it takes about 10min to reach Santa Monica downtown/beach promenade, 15 min to get to UCLA/Westwood/Century City, ~ 20min to reach Beverly Hills.

Nothing.

Breakfast was good and for those who prefer decaf, there’s a coffee shop across the street. What I liked the most was how the staff, with only one small exception, were so friendly and anticipated my needs. I woke up cold one night and took the coverlet from the second bed. When I returned to my room the next evening. The staff, without being asked, had given me an extra blanket. So kind and thoughtful. Similarly, the front desk staff made change for me to ride the busses and patiently answered all my questions.

One day at breakfast I spilled milk on the table outside. I mentioned it to the tall breakfast supervisor, who told me not to worry, no problem. But neither he nor his assistant cleaned the table, so I got some napkins and hot water and did the best I could to clean it off bc other people were already beginning to sit down at the table I’d dirtied. He or his assistant could have done a better job in less time with a towel. Maybe I share the blame bc I didn’t specifically ask him to clean the table, but I felt that should have been obvious when I told him I’d spilled! Also it would be nice if there were regular mint tea at breakfast as the Moroccan mint has green tea in it, which is highly caffeinated.

We traveled for medical reasons, and the hotel's location to the medical building was ideal. The room was clean and had all the necessities we required for our stay, plus the continental breakfast while a tad small had everything we needed to hold us over until we could go out for a larger meal.

The room location was a bit noisy because we could hear the garbage trucks and other vehicles, but the convenience of being near our doctor was worth the inconvenience. The thermometer was also a bit off, making the room colder than expected.

Room is well located in the heart of Santa Monica, its a 35 minute drive from LAX airport, the Santa Monica beach is a 15 minutes bus ride and Venice Beach is also around 25 minutes. There is a bus stop just a minute away from the hotel (in case you don't rent a car like me). The rooms are decent sized, clean, airconditioned and well-equipped. The staff is really friendly, accommodating and helpful. There was no kettle for hot water in the room but the reception provided me one upon request. Also on the last day of my stay I hurt my back and needed to rest a little bit more before my long flight back to Switzerland, to which the lovely staff graciously let me check out later than usual and allowed me to stay until 130 pm with no extra cost. That was a really great touch and I cannot thank them enough as I was in real pain. Location is excellent with a lot of great restaurants, cafés, and groceries/pharmacies-7/11, Walgreens, barber shops at a walking distance. Highly recommended and I will definitely come back to stay here next time I'm in LA.

Breakfast could've been better, but its not bad at all if you just want to grab something quick like a coffee and an instant pancake. They dont have 'Apple Pay Tap payment' - not a deal breaker but something to think about to carry physical cards or cash and not rely on just your phone/digital cards.

The rooms were clean and cleaned every day. Although parking was not free it was not over expensive, especially since you park in a garage. Location was ok too, easily accessible with car and public transportation.

Well breakfast was strange. We did not expect much, but there was no bread l, no cheese, just pancakes, cooked eggs from a bag, some serials, yougurt and a muesli bar. Yes there was cofee too. So bit disappointing. Also not a lot of of room ro sit down in the lobby and eat.

Spartan; but since I love granola (bars) and yogurt it was adequate. No orange juice, but some kid style fruit juice was only juice option. Coffee was ok. Bread options with peanut butter and jelly would be nice. Instant oatmeal was a no go as the ‘hot’ water was completely inadequate to cook it. They had a pancake machine that people seemed to like. Small, but clean, room; bed very comfortable. Staff was quickly responsive to cleaning room in pm as they didn’t get to it by 1:00 pm. Small stalls, but relatively safe parking with elevator access to all hotel floors was great. You won’t be able to park a large suv or pick-up truck in the small spots

This was a great safe location in Santa Monica. There was public transport close by. We walked most places with ease. Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s were super close as well as other various food outlets. Very clean, comfortable and everything worked. We failed to make the best use of the grab and go breakfast due to a busy schedule but the days we did it was adequate.

Not a big issue but we found the shutters to not block the light very much.
