We stayed there for 6 nights in the Cabernet Suite! Exceptional! We spoke with Amy initially after booking. She was a pleasure to talk to and gave a bit of history on the Inn that I was unaware of. Also, her Father, Ron, who pleasantly greeted us when we arrived onsite, was such a joy! Loved his stories and made us feel welcome! Without a doubt would love to stay here again! And highly, highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, event if only for one night, it's worth it!

Immaculate house that is well furnished with comfortable home decorations complete with books, games, and ample gathering spaces. It's like coming home or visiting a relative who shares their collection of favorite belongings. Located at the end of a could-de-sac street in a quiet neighborhood within a few minutes' drive to main Napa downtown attractions. Beautiful gardens and landscaped grounds, outdoor deck with seating and decorative features enclosed by beautiful mature evergreen and oak trees. Security locks on all doors and with the owner on site whom I met by chance and made me feel very welcome. The WiFi is excellent with the signal so strong that even outside on the deck and in the yard it is full strength. The room furnishings were comfortable with a seating area, small space to hang clothes, and modern fixturing. I stayed in the Royal Oak room which faces the rear of the house and the deck. There's a gentle fountain in the backyard which added to the peaceful setting. A small room heater is included and worked well for the morning and night chill of November. Notices and directions for amenities posted in the room and easy to follow. Light snacks and Keurig style coffee machine available for guests. The price is a bit high even for the area but I would stay here again because you can't put a price on comfort and peace of mind as a solo traveler who felt safe and welcome.

The wall AC/Heater is noisy but I used the small room heater included. The price is high for the package of just a room, even with the small snacks available. Although the TV has available streaming options you have to sign in with your own account, then make sure you sign out before you leave.

Very lovely inn convenient to downtown Napa and wineries in the area. House was spacious and plenty of common areas to sit and hang out, both indoors and outdoors. Also has a piano you can play. Room was comfortable, very interesting house and decor, cute amenities and touches such as the coffee/snack bar. Room had everything we needed with toiletries, hangers, blankets, well-lit. Fireplace/heater kept the room comfortable.

The bed was a bit lumpy. Another guest room had access to a porch(?) outside, which I guess was near our room window, so we could hear them chatting early in the morning which woke us up. Otherwise, house was quite quiet (at least other rooms, areas inside the house).

Breakfast consists of do it yourself pod coffee and a basket of breakfast bars. This is no longer a B&B --just a "B"..............

Heating comes from an electric faux fireplace with no thermostatic control. Room was either too hot or too cold most of the time. The "no personnel on site" approach to check-in leaves you at the mercy of getting the key code via email. Booking.com messed that up and it took a half-hour to get in touch with Stahlecker house people to get them to send the code directly.

Cabernet Suite, a perfect getaway for 2! We stayed here as one of the stops on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The room is massive! And the most perfect part is the jacuzzi in the living room. My wife and I watched some good movies from the jacuzzi! Also, in the main house there's good coffee, tea and snacks that you can grab all the time. Perfectly arranged if you ask me!

My wife says "the sink didn't drain super well and the walls were pretty thin". But I slept like a rose and didn't notice anything concerning :D

We used the common area more than we thought. Overall a great place.

The room we stayed in had a bathroom with two doors, with one side to the bedroom and the other to the living room. The door to the living room side was locked/blocked and inaccessible. But we had a group of 3 with one person using the sofa bed in the living room and felt awkward needing to let the person walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom. It would have been so much better if the door was usable.

I did not know what to expect before we arrived. I was a little nervous about the accommodations and the set up of the house. WOW, was I ( my husband and our friend from Germany) pleasantly surprised. It was perfect. So cozy, & so quiet. We truly felt "at home"! The rooms with en-suit bathrooms were great. The main house areas were better than we imagined. The snack/coffee supplies were perfect. The outside area was serene. We had an issue in one of the rooms which was handled immediately by the owner. We had a 3 week vacation from San Fransisco to Vancouver. Stahlecker House was our favorite 'hotel'!

Stahlecker Inn is a beautiful place that truly feels like a home away from home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the inn is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. From the cozy decor to the peaceful surroundings, every detail adds to the charm. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind—highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and comforting stay!

Nice property less than 10 minutes taxi from downtown Napa, with free parking. The Inn has a large communal area with seating and coffee/snack facilities, and a lovely garden space. The property is a lovely throughout. We stayed in the Oak Room which had a double bed, chairs, fridge and bathroom. The room was big enough for the two night stay and was good value for money.

What a beautiful little inn in the heart of the town of Napa! The grounds are beautiful and our room was clean, comfortable, and very pretty. It is close to the old historic center of Napa and it's very easy to reach the wineries further up the Napa Valley. It is also convenient to the Carneros region and some Sonoma wineries as well. Now that we have found Stahlaker House we plan to make more visits to Napa.
